Hello ladies and gents. My name is Immedian, and I will be your GM for the evening. If you cannot already tell, you are in a fantasy roleplay.. quite obviously enough. But unlike most of the roleplays you will find on this board, I run things quite differently. In fact, I do things very differently indeed. And depending on your level of participation/interest, what I may do, you are most likely going to love. See, I'm one of those types of people who love plotting, and stories, and I love to see things grow. Right now we're in a very vague northern country of Althaea, but with your creative minds, this could grow into something bigger, something better. Something truly worth creating.. so, if you're interested in a different pace, then I recommend trying this roleplay out, who knows? What you make here, may change the world.

However, like any good GM, I have rules, and you will listen to them.

In order for a roleplay to work, everyone must have some degree of cooperation. They must be willing to listen and comply and RESPECT each other. The fact of the matter is: we're doing this for fun! We should be having fun! And if a disagreement comes up, well, then we sit down like normal people and talk it out. Either way, there will be PEACE and RESPECT in my roleplay. No racism, insulting other people's intelligence, no being a dick, generally speaking. I will not tolerate it. And you will be shipped off on the failboat.

I hate to break it to you PG-13 kids, but this is NOT a PG-13 roleplay. There probably will be very dark and mature themes in this roleplay, and they may or may not be vividly described. HENCE HERE IS YOUR WARNING. IN BIG FONT. THIS RP MAY HAVE QUESTIONABLE CONTENT VENTURE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Now what does this mean? No, I'm not gonna let you post flat out smut in here. But I'm not going to live in this imaginary world where sex, violence, drugs, and other nasty things don't exist either. If what you are doing gets too suggestive, I will PM you to take it to PM, and you may post back in the thread when you are done.

Now that's out of the way..

I ENCOURAGE you all to be creative. I have NO limits. None at ALL. I only ask that you create very BALANCED characters. Meaning, yes! Your character could have COMPLETE CONTROL OF DARKNESS... but he better have a very hard counter as well. Even Superman has Kryptonite, and the Titanic was not perfect. So, I will trust that you will make good, awesome, creative characters. Feel free to go crazy. I don't care. You want a blue skinned orange haired elephant? Go for it, as long as you can play him, and make it fit the setting, then I do not care. Just remember: FLAWS ARE BEAUTIFUL TOO.

Plotwise, I also once again encourage you all to be creative. I DO HAVE MANY PLOTS AND STORIES AND ADVENTURES SET ASIDE THAT I WILL CONSTANTLY GUIDE YOU THROUGH.. but I also want to see you guys come up with some of your own.. Does your character have an evil father that she wants to kill? Put it in. Who knows? We might explore that avenue later, and turn it into an epic story! Or we can link it with other stories and make GREATER stories. I encourage drama in the roleplay. Romances, wars, betrayals all make for a good read. Just don't go overboard with it, after all, I hate stagnating romance rps. Annoying.

://Literacy

I guess you can already tell that this is going to be an ADVANCED LITERATE ROLEPLAY. Meaning 2-5 paragraphs minimum, and complete, coherent sentences. We are writing stories. Not commenting like a bunch of kids on facebook. Now, does that mean I will hold you to this and kick you out when you screw up once? Of course not, I'm a very reasonable person. I just ask that you try to maintain that. It helps not only you, but the people around you understand what is going on, and how to respond. Besides, sometimes, a paragraph or two is needed to express just emotion alone! Make sure you post enough for people to understand. You don't have to pull out your thesaurus. Just think like your character, how they would feel, how they would see things, and you'll find yourself typing volumes.. Also, please, complete sentences with proper grammar. I can understand simple errors.. but whn u tlk lyke d12.. I kinda get irritated.

://Activity

This roleplay will start as soon as I can get at least 5 members. I will expect you all to at least post often. After all, you are a character in an epic story! If things arise, then I will understand, just give us a shoutout in the OCC thread or the chat or something, but don't just leave us hanging. If you must leave, then let us know, so we can safely take care of your character. I will give 3 warnings. After the third warning, I will nix your character permanently.

Now, along with the roleplay, there will probably be some extra bits on the side, after all, this is your world too! You are more then welcome to:
1. Write extra bits about this world, example, a country where your character may come from, or a race, Who knows, we may take a step in that direction..
2. Plot with other people, do crazy things like try to take over the town
3. Follow your OWN story lines.
4. Have fun! Seriously! Have fun! Draw fanart! Make stories! Don't care! Its fun and legit!

Just keep in mind:

1. The chat is for OCC talk, and mindless character bickering. Nothing in it will be used for for IC purposes.
2. Keep it seperated. You don't like it when people draw all over your books do you?

I do not care which medium you use, if you choose to use any at all. Realistic, off of DA, anime, go for it. However, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING OBVIOUSLY RECOGNIZED CHARACTERS. I'm slighty annoyed with getting things like people posting Ashe from League of Legends in my threads. Use ORIGINAL art, or at least ART THAT IS NOT COMMONLY USED. It's a nice change from everything isn't it? Remember to credit the artist/source, and finally: nothing crazy guys. No porn or anything alright?
