Personality-
Aemyle comes off as somewhat sarcastic, yet formal. While she has adopted certain slang, she feels that most of it is insipid and unintelligent. She’s a very kind, older sister personality, even if she has a sarcastic sense of humor. She’s reliable, and believes heavily in the value of hard work. Despite her somewhat disciplined personality, she has found a love for Earth’s rock music within her- inspired by artists like Flyleaf, Fireflight, House of Heroes, and Evanescence. Also, friendship with people like the members of her band have softened her up quite a bit.

She always has this gun on her person. No one takes her seriously, because it looks like a toy, but it’s actually a rather powerful energy based gun- if you couldn’t tell. It has three settings- Stun, Kill, and Vaporize. ((Yes, it’s Ronon Dex’s/ the Travelers’ gun, ‘particle magnum’. Yes, it’s a Stargate reference but it really is a beastly weapon.))

((Because it takes so much for her to get hurt, it also takes a long time for her injury to heal. If asleep, she is able to recover much more quickly because her cells don’t have to worry about her moving about. The healing process is aided further if she sleeps in sunlight.))

History

History- Her family comes from a race of people called ‘Peregrins’. Their home world does exist within the Milky Way, and it’s known to them as ‘Peregrinantis’.

Aemyle’s people are a proud race with the history not unlike early human history-starting off as warriors then traversing into scholars investigating reason and technology. However, her people have been traversing space for a couple of centuries, and in that time they’ve matured somewhat as a people and have mastered interplanetary diplomacy. They are a naturally curious group- moreso than the average- and have adapted to become quick learners. This has led them to explore their galaxy- this is why Aemyle is on earth.

Her father was a part of her country’s military, while her mother holds a position called‘Raeliph’. Raeliphs serve as ambassadors/diplomats to other planets. Aemyle’s mother had done well with the first planet she was trusted with; however, rumors had reached Peregrinantis of earth from some trade partners who had people living there. Queen Lai’ka was curious. Peregrinantis would send an expedition there and Aemyle’s mother would be the Raeliph to this planet.

Aemyle’s family left with the expedition when she was 18. Aemyle had entered the military in hopes of becoming a part of the Teryn’Kai- a highly experienced group of fighters used as diplomats in dangerous situations. However, this required diplomatic training as well. So, she put aside her military training to go with her mother as an apprentice Raeliph or, Heraan. They reached Earth’s solar system within a few months. The mission was going as planned, until their ship entered the system. Their ship was attacked by a rival, territorial people called ‘Vicitris’ who already had their eyes on Earth. Though a few smaller ships were able to launch from the Peregrinan vessel, the vessel itself was destroyed. These few ships carried the survivors, and Aemyle and her mother, to Earth.

Aemyle has spent the past 17 years among us. She knows our languages and culture, and even, for the most part, our history. She’s also been taught about Peregrinantis by her mother and the couple who were on the escape vessel with them. She knows of both worlds, but remains here due to the irreparable damage to the engines of their ship (irreparable due to Earth’s lack of technology).

She makes her money as lead singer/bassist of a band called ‘Phersonnimus’, the Peregrinan word the literally translates to ‘We make loud music’. It’s a rock band if you couldn’t tell, and the band has recently risen to a certain popularity, though it’s by no means huge. And because of ‘Emily Pan’s’ gift with languages, they’re able to tour in different countries.
