I jumped out from hiding and ran quickly over to the cow sinking my teeth into the flesh on its throat. The animal was putting up a pretty good fight but it was out numbered, I bit down deeper into the jugular vein, I could feel the blood rushing out, and I looked at Akecheta, for a signal to let go of it.

The animal fought hard, but by doing so, I cut off it's air supply in the process. By now, the animal was stone dead, and Snowstorm and Akecheta were partially soaked in it's blood. Giving her a nod, he released it's neck, the blood giving his pelt a now glossy appearance.
"Now, used the stream to wash out the blood." HE instructed, "otherwise we'll alert the others. You go first, and hurry or the stink will set in."

I ran over to the stream to wash the blood off of my silky white coat, trying to hurry, so Akecheta could wash his fur. After I was done I ran out over to him "All done, you can go and wash up now" I said looking up at him, be fore I sat down on the ground.

Sensing no threat, Akecheta made his way over to the stream. Laying on all fours, he slowly rolled around, the blood slowly leaking from his fur as it ran into the stream.
Having finished, he shook his fur of any excess water. Now raising his head, he motioned over to the cow.
"Well... enjoy your first big game kill." he almost said with a grin.

"Your eating this with me" I said looking at his giving him a small smirk "Don't think I won't let you enjoy some of this" I start to take bite out of the cow, and enjoying it, this was the first time she tasted anything so nice "This is great, I wish I could always eat like this" I said going back and eating some more, wagging my tail happily.

Letting meat slip down his throat, he'd almost forgotten how the fresh meat always tasted, what with the hierarchy of the pack sometimes left him with the colder meat.

"So what's it like to be in a pack" I ask as I finally finished eating my fill and lied down on a patch of grass "It must be fun, you can be around others, and hunt with others. My dad always told me stories about his pack, and most of their killing" I said as I watch you eat and hoping I was disturbing you from you food.

"Maybe its something silly." I said stretching a little bit "Well thank you again for your help, Akecheta" I walk close to you and lick your muzzle "maybe I'll see you again sometime" I starts to walk off my tail swaying from side to side and I trot of slowly.

Akecheta froze up after feeling her lick his muzzle. If he was able to, he would have blushed. He lowered his snout to the the ground, holding his right paw up to the spot she licked.

Snowstorm, was already at one of her, many, dens that was small and cold "Home sweet home" She said sarcastically as she smelled a little mouse running around "Hmm not hungry, and way to tired to go after you" She then climbs up a small rock in the den and sprawled out on it lazily, "I wonder if he's back with his clan" She asked herself as the snow started to fall fast "Must be a snow storm tonight" She turned her back towards the entrance of the den and tried to keep herself warm from the snow.

Akecheta stretched as he awoke for the morning. The tribe was able to accept the lie that he'd found that partially eaten corpse from a pack of Light Wolves he surprised. Just because he'd found a new friend, he wasn't at fault keeping it a secret, he knew everyone else had their own.
Something possessed, no, told him to stray around the area he'd met Snowstorm. The questions of whether she had decent lodging or food made plagued his mind, but he stopped himself. She'd told him she learned to survive. But still... she interested him, why, he still hadn't figured out, but his gut feeling, a trait learned from his mother, told him to go.
So, leaving the den of brush, he sneaked out of the clearing, dousing his scent so he wouldn't be followed.

Snow walked out of the den after being bored enough, she started to head over to the clearing to take a drink of water "Wow that was a great storm" She said to herself, when she started to sniff the air, she smelled a fox somewhere around here "Yay!!" She said wagging my tail fast. She looked at it and started to chase after it playfully "Hey come back here. I just want to play" She said watching it run away, She then smelled something else "Hi Akecheta" She said happily "What you doing here?"

"Okay" She said getting off of him and walking over to the lake to take a drink of water, but the she heard something, other wolves "Hmm sounds like wolves" She headed over to some bushes and stayed low to the ground to see white wolves "Wow there's a lot of them, they must be looking for territory around here" She looked back at him with a worried look in her eye.

Akechtea bared his teeth slightly, his white canine teeth bared with slight irritation.
"I may be bigger than they are, but I'll be overwhelmed." He spoke.
However, he knew that this had to be taken care of now. His options where limited. His dark brown eyes shot among the group to find the pack leader. He found it soon enough. One large male, about half his size, with bright blue eyes. He looked about the age of the second youngest of his pack. This gave him an idea that would have made him grin.
"How about we have a little fun with these seventeen?" He suggested.
