In DuBois City, there is an odd group forming. The psi-vamps. They aren't psychics, and they aren't vampires. They are a group of teens with an odd mutation. They can't produce enough spiritual energy, so they have to take it from others. Either consensually, or not. Some of the 'psi-vamps' get donors. Some just go around and steal it like a parasite. Either way, the urge to feed must be met.

That is all fine and dandy, but there's a problem. Someone is killing them off. One by one, high-school students are being found with a wooden stake through the chest, and garlic stuffed in there mouth. The police think its the work of an insane cereal murderer. The group knows different.

Vampire slayers are on the loose.
