Rayne woke up with a pain in her head. Rubbing the back of her neck she slowly sat up and saw that she wasn't home. Taking a look around Rayne wondered how she got here, it was currently night time and the world seemed to be a never ending jungle. It was beautiful but Rayne didn't understand what was going on. Standing up she dusted off her clothes and took deep breaths trying to get rid of the pain. "Where am I?" She heard a stream near by and followed the sound not realizing how thirsty she was. Hearing the sound get closer Rayne picked up her pace and smiled when she saw a clear stream leading to what she would assume was the ocean. Walking over to the stream she knelt down and cupped water up to her lips and drank. Sighing with content Rayne stood up once again and continued walking. "I just need to see if I can find someone that knows about this place." Mumbling to herself, Rayne ventured further into the jungle not knowing what lies ahead.

Blue eyes softly gazed into a crystal basin of water, watching something no normal pair of eyes would be able to see. To the untrained and unsync'd eyes they would see nothing but the crystal clear transparency of the water, but to her. To her now experience eyes, she was able to quickly synchronize with Letho's magics and see what ever she wanted to see. She saw the girl, 24 years of life experience wandering through the thick jungles of the world. She let a sorrowful sigh escape as she walked away from the basin. She looked around her small sanctuary, her small escape when she wanted a place to meditate and hone her skills. The crystal structures that protruded form the ground and ceiling glowed various blues and purples, causing the some of the fallen pieces and slivers that were on the ground to shine softly. She smiled sadly, remembering when she first found the cavern, then left. For she knew it would be wise to find the girl quickly, so that to make finding the others that would come easier.

Theo's head throbbed, and he groaned and reached up to rub his head. The last thing he remembered was making his way to the bar to meet up with some of his friends, but on the way there.... "Dammit," he mumbled as his memory became hazy. He laid on the ground, concentrating on remembering until he heard the gentle sound of waves hitting a shore. "huh?" he murmured and groped the ground with his hands. Sand. He was laying on sand. How could he be laying on sand if he lived in South Dakota? He slowly sat up and opened his eyes. It was still dark, like he remembered, but he wasn't exactly a block away from his apartment like he thought he had been at first. He was on a beach with white sand, making the dark ocean in front of him appearing even darker.

He stood up and brushed sand off of his clothes, "Hello?" he hollared out, then turned to find that behind him stood a thick jungle. "Hey!" he shouted even louder. He growled softly as no response came, "probably just some stupid dream anyway. I'll probably wake up on some poor bastards porch" With that, he decided the first thing he should do, incase it wasn't a dream, was to start a fire. So he walked along the tree line, looking for wood that would catch fire.

Rayne heard someone shouting and turned in that direction, Someone else is here? She began to run and jumping over things if necessary, "Hey!! Someone there?!?" If this was someone that lived here then maybe they could tell her what this place was. Hearing waves Rayne knew that she was near a beach, "Hello???" Running out into the clearing she looked around to see if anyone was there. Turning to her left she saw what appeared to be a man further down. "Was he the one talking?" Taking her chances Rayne began to run down the beach.

Theo spun on his heel a little too quickly for his own good. He gripped his head as he peered down the beach. "Hello?" he shouted back, then he saw a girl come out of the jungle. He took a few steps back toward her, "Hey!" he said and began jogging down to the girl.

Rayne stopped running and caught her breath, "Do you know this place?" She was looking around and looked out into the ocean. It appeared as if it was black ink and would swallow you whole and you would never be seen again. Looking back at the man Rayne took in his appearance. Her first thought was Indiana Jones and she mentally chuckled at her thought.

"Wha-?" he started, baffled by the fact that the woman didn't know where they were, "I was hoping you did actually." He watched as she looked out into the ocean, then back to him. The chuckle is what through him off however, "what?" As he waited for an answer he took in her features. " is that blond, or white in her hair? well, whatever, it reminds me of candy canes and peppermint" he thought to himself.

Saviik, watched from the thick jungle, waiting to see how the two would react to each other. "It is essential that they get along," she thought.

Giving him another once over Rayne smiled, "You remind me of Indiana Jones....and no I don't. I was working at the night club and out of nowhere I woke up here." Realizing that she gave him her name she suddenly felt rude. "Oh and I'm Rayne by the way." She held out her hand hoping he would take it.

"Theo," he replied, then looked around, "Well, I guess were both lost in whatever this place is called."

Saviik gently pushed aside the leafy limb of a medium sized plant and stepped out onto the sand. She looked to the two, who were to her right, and spoke loud enough for them to hear, "Letho. This world is called Letho."

[[sorry I haven't been on in a few days. work and stuff.]]

Rayne looked over to the woman who walked out, "Lethos? I never heard of it." Rayne patted Theo's shoulder and walked over to the woman, "May I know your name? I'm Rayne." She gave the woman a small smile, "Could you possibly tell us more about this place?"

"I am Saviik Zahrahmiik. And I will tell you more about this place as soon as we take shelter. There are dangerous creatures that roam these jungles at night," She said as she turned and began walking down the shore line. "There is a cove further down with an old abandoned inn on it's shore. It will do well to serve as a place to rest for the night and for me to comfortably tell you what you need to know."

Theo watched the women, he wasn't sure if he could just up and trust them or not. However, under the circumstances, Saviik would have to be trusted for now. He had no idea where he was or how he got there, hopefully she would know.

Rayne nodded and followed, "Okay. And what kind of animals?" She didn't really know what to think at the moment. Considering that she's in a totally different world as it seems to be that way. Rayne hoped that Theo was following, she really didn't want him to go off on his own in a place that was new and strange to them.

"Well, there's the werewolves, vampires, demons, and such; which are things I'm sure your familiar with. They manage to get into your world occasionally and cause myths and rumors. Then there are things that don't have the intelligence to figure out how to find the world links and connections. However they make up for their lack of intelligence with their dangerous natures. Some being fierce beasts and some being demented and twisted beings. However there are also creatures that roam this world that are just as powerful, yet kinder, such as the Pegasus' of mystic valley, or the Snow Cats of the Snow Burrow Mountains." Saviik explained as she continued to walk down the shoreline.

Theo perked up at the mention the creatures, "Wait? Those are real?"

Saviik chuckled and nodded, "Yes. They are real. Those who come to Letho have shown to have some sort of magicka or hidden power inside them. So the world connects to those souls, and calls them into this world for two reasons. One of those being so that those people can find unlock their hidden power. The other reason is to protect the other world."

Rayne was digesting all that Saviik was saying, "So are you telling us that we both may have a hidden power?" She found herself surprised at how she could easily believe Saviik. There was just something about her that shouted loyalty.

Saviik turned and smiled softly, "Yes, but how it is unlocked, you have to discover for yourself. I am only here to serve as your guide and to try to prevent your deaths."

Theo looked at the woman, surprised, "Our deaths? What do you mean?"

"Even if you do have a hidden power, you don't know how to use it, or even to unlock it. And Letho is home to things that would kill you to absorb whatever power it may be," she explained, then she sighed in relief as the abandoned inn came to view inside a small cove. "There's the Inn, let's hurry inside so that nothing would catch up with us before we get to safety. " With that she began walking faster towards the Inn.

((Saviik is the most loyal damned thing on the planet lol. She's sometimes too good for her own good probably.))

Rayne nodded, "Okay, sooo we could possibly have a power that can cause our demise?" She followed Saviik into the inn and sighed with relief, "So what's going on?" Finding a chair Rayne sat down and looked over to Saviik. "I mean by the way things are I'm taking it things can get worse."

Theo sighed and found himself a seat as well. He watched as Saviik light the hearth in the inn and as she sat herself on the old bar top.

Saviik nodded, "In a way, yes. It can cause your demise, but once your powers are unlocked. It could be the thing that saves you. And as for what is going on, you two, and I'm sure soon more, have been brought to Letho so that you don't cause harm to the other world, and also, so that you can either unlock your hidden powers or to be fed upon by the beasts and evil spirits here. However, there is one thing, one speculation of sorts."

"What do you mean?" Theo asked.

Her lips turned into a frown and she turned her gaze to the floor, "If you don't unlock your powers, you can't find a way back home. If you don't get back home, you'll disappear from everyone's memories. And once gone, you'll never be able to return to the life you once knew."

Theo's eyes widened. He could believe what he had just heard. Forgotten? by his friends? by his father? by his own mother? by.... everyone?

Rayne sat there in thought and sighed, "Okay so is there a way to unlock them? Or does it just happen?" She looked over to Saviik, "Well I guess I mean is there anything that triggers it?" She was hoping that she wasn't confusing her.

Kyo was standing on a cliff looking over Letho. The wind gently blew his hair as he was trying to find any signs of the humans that have been thrown here. Narrowing his eyes he heard a girl yell and then it seemed she found someone else. "It seems the humans have arrived." He smirked under the mask and jumped off the cliff heading towards where he heard the humans.

"It depends on it's nature really. It could be unlock by meditation, or simply by urgency," Saviik said, "It can happen when you are in the most danger, but even then, it requires some meditation to learn to actually use it at will. Speaking of which, I'd best check outside. Wait here," she said as she exited the tavern. She walked out to where the waves lapped at the sand on the beach and looked around the cove. "Somethings not right... If only I had my crystal basin," she murmured.

"So... What do you think of all this?" Theo asked as he looked around the tavern.

Kyo was silently jumping from tree to tree hearing the voices grow louder. Stopping, Kyo knelt down on a tree branch and saw a tavern that hasn't been used in years. He could see Saviik and would've cursed out loud if he didn't know how to keep his composure. It seems that she has already found two of the chosen ones. Narrowing his eyes Kyo was now formulating a plan on how to convince the two that Saviik was bad.

Rayne watched Saviik leave then glanced over to Theo, "I think it's crazy but what choice do we have?" Standing up she walked around the tavern examining whatever she came across, "She seems loyal and trustworthy, so if we have a power we need to unlock then I suggest we start learning." Turning her attention back to Theo, Rayne smiled, "Besides it's just us and her right now. Hopefully there are others."
