Standing at 6'2 Edward only weighs 185 pounds. He has a lean body that is built like a runner which gives great endurance and some speed. Edward has smooth skin that is rather light but if he stays out in the sun long enough he can get a bit more tawny. He has a large scar on his back starting on his left shouler blade and ending at his right hip. His warm emerald green eyes come from his mother's side just like his green hair which he likes to dye either black or dark brown. When he was younger he used to used to let his hair grow out but ever since he became a professor he keeps it more of a short casual hairstyle.

Feel free to use the voice of your fac Edward's voice is calm and collected but it can also be strong and authoritive when he feels he needs to gain control of the students. Despite his Polish heritage Edward was raised in America so he has no noticeable accent.
Personality
Edward is usually calm and observant person though he does get irritated when people compare him to Magneto. He is very intelligent and mostly spends his free time either studying science or training his powers. He tries to be good and will usually be friendly with people that talk to him even humans unless they've done something to anger him like abusing their powers or making fun of mutants. Edward is a hard worker and has an idealistic side to him though it is not as twisted as his grandfather where he believes mutants and humans should be equal rather than the thought that mutants are superior. He doesn't like talking about himself especially when it comes to his family. Although he has openly admitted that he is afraid of Magneto despite his old age, but the thing he fears most of all is becoming like him. When he first started at the school 8 years ago he was cold and was generally mean, but over the years he has become kinder and aware of other people's feelings.
Likes
He likes his powers mainly because they make him feel different from everyone else.
Science especially geophysics it started when his mom became proud of him but eventually he started to like learning and finding out answers.
His family especially his grandfather.

Telepathy and other powers that effect the mind mainly because he has no way to counter act it.

Edward keeps three small metal spheres in his pocket that he will use his powers to juggle whenever he gets bored or nervous.
Also if things go silient for too long he will drift off and start imagining random things.

Every character has a weakness - Even if it's just one. And I don't want that bullshit emotional/psychological weaknesses. What are their physical weaknesses? Mental? Emotional? Academic? Domestic? His main weakness would have to be a hand to hand fight he knows how to defend himself but anyone that is skilled or trained could beat him easily.
Skilled Telepathic users can enter his mind easily and whenever they do he starts panic and make mistakes.
Another one is that he is afraid to take leadership in fear of becoming like Magneto.
He loses his composure whenever someone calls him Magneto because he doesn't want to be like him.

Whenever he's out on a mission he'll wear a normal X-men suit with a metal underlay so he can levitate him self. He has a suit and a helmet that resemble Magneto's armor (a gift from Magneto) but never wears it for obvious reasons.

When he's not teaching he wears a simple t-shirt and jeans , goggles plus a labcoat if he's performing an experiment, and if he's teaching a suit.

Biography
I'm looking for quality detail here. Where did your character come from, what was their life like before the war? When did they discover their mutation? What or who lead them to where they are now? What was it that made them who they are now? Edward is the only child and son of Polaris and Havoc although he is the son of Havoc, Edward has shown no sign of gaining any of Havoc's powers. Instead Edward has developed the powers of his mother Polaris and shown hints of developing more of his grandfather Magneto's powers. Edward's X-gene activated when he was 8 years old when he accidently caused the tv and to levitate and fall due to his excitement. When his mom found out about his powers she started to train him how control the outbursts. Instead of actually teaching him how to use his powers she taught him the science behind it believing it would be best to teach him that rather than how to use his powers despite his father's arguement that he should learn how to use his power not just hide it. After a year of learning geophysics with his mom a strange old man came to the house and argued with his mom and dad. Eventually they let him inside and told him that it was his grandpa they explained that he was going to teach him how to use his powers which got Edward excited. The next few years of Edwards life were amazing after school he would come back to his house to train under his grandfather who was the most powerful person he'd ever seen. Even better was that Edward was advancing in his training at a fast rate and it looked that not only was manifesting Magneto's other powers but that he would one day be able to surpass him. Edward hung on every word his grandfather said and for a while he hated humans and the X-men. At age 14 everything changed Edward had been able to move a small chunk of concrete and his grandfather thought he was developing the powers he had. When this happened the training got tougher and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't do it again. Though the thing that changed most was that Edward was starting to think for himself and started realizing things he had once over looked. How his parents only tolerated his grandfather for his sake and how they didn't like the way he was teaching Edward. Once that happened his grandfathers ideals weren't making as much sense and it became obvious to Edward that he was being groomed to be the next Magneto. Despite all this Edward was fine with it because his grandfather was his hero and he would do anything to make him proud. This all changed the day of his 15th birthday what started out as a normal sparring practice between Edward and his grandfather turned into something serious when Magneto decided Edward wasn't putting any effort into the fight and Magneto went crazy and completely overpowered Edward throwing him around and beating him. Magneto surrounded Edward with metal and when Edward tried to defend he couldn't focus on all sides and a piece of metal cut his back. Right before he delt the death blow Magneto seemed to realize what was happening and stopped, all Edward remembers before was a red glow that presumably came from Havoc. After that Edward was rushed to the hospital and was said to be fine. His grandfather disappeared after that and it took a month to fully recover from the beating and during that time he saw more and more of his grandfathers true character. He still loved his grandfather despite all that happened but he vowed to himself that he would never turn out the way he did or follow his strange ideals. Half a year later is when he was finally sent to Xavier's school for gifted youngsters where he got interested into science again and even though he promised himself not be like Magneto it took a while for him to finally let go of his hate.
