0 · 1,545 views · located in London, England

a character in “Young Master/Mistress and Butler/Maid.”, as played by AngelBell

Description

General Information
Name: Anna-Beth and Andrew Anderson
Age: 16
Gender: Female and Male
Blood Type: O-
Family Business: Father a judge, Mother a Defense Attorney
Level: 2nd Years
Butler/Maid assigned: Mel and Agatha

Appearance
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Auburn-Honey
Dressing Style: Anna-Beth enjoys wearing uniform-like clothes. For school, she wears black stockings and brown Mary Janes, earthy-toned dresses or skirts, and sometimes a ribbon in her hair or on the clothes. Andrew wears jeans and button-up shirts most of the time, but in school, he wears button-ups and tan or brown slacks with black uniform shoes, and a uniformed vest or uniform black jacket.
General Appearance: Anna-Beth is classic pretty, with porcelain skin and a slim body, soft pink lips, thick and long dark eyelashes, and long slender limbs. Andrew is much the same as his twin, but he is covered in lean muscle, and his eyes are far harsher than his twin's.
Weight: Anna-Beth is 103 pounds, Andrew is 120 pounds
Height: Anna-Beth is 5'2, Andrew is 5'9

Extra info: The twins have the ability to "read" each other's minds, but only because they're twins. They can sometimes be heard uttering nonsensical words, a certain "twin language" they made up as toddlers. Anna-Beth has only been on one date, because her brother scares boys away, and Andrew had a reputation in his junior high school as a player, because many girls liked him; some girls even called him "Prince" Andrew.

Eliab smiled a little when seeing Katherine's grin. "Thanks! Quite frankly, you're actually the first person to have seen those sketches. Rebecca is too busy with gymnastics or pranks to even bother trying to look at them. As for Thomas, well, he barely had time, building his career and all."

---

Agatha shook her head. "That's why I was asking you, silly! Oh, well!" A thought hit her at that instant. "You know, after tea, we should definitely have you come and meet Yia Yia! I bet she wouldn't mind me introducing you and Anna to her!" She giggled at the thought of it.

---

Charles admired how Anna's eyes glistened. If only he had more than his uncle to introduce her to. "Well, seeing that the vast majority of my family is in Scotland, the only person, other than the chauffer, Kenneth, I could introduce you to would by my Uncle, James. They're quite fun to be around. You won't be disappointed."

---

Rebecca laughed a little. "Well, there are different techniques and gear stuff, but the concept should be almost the same. Eliab will even teach you some of the fancy throws pitchers use to strike batters out."

((I don't know when my next post is, but I have limited access. If it comnes down to it, I would heavily encourage a time skip to keep things going while I'm away for at least five or six days.))

"You want to introduce me to your family?" Anna stared at Charles, then squealed happily, and launched herself towards him, throwing her arms around his neck and holding onto him tightly. "Oh, I would love to meet your uncle! And you should come meet my parents as well!"

"Y-you're Yia Yia?" Andrew gulped nervously, "That would be...nice. You've already met my parents...so...yeah..."

((I'll be out of touch for a while as well, sorry!!))

Rebecca saw Ackley pull out his camera, which refreshed her memory of why they were here. Though she was gorgeous, the maid was always a little nervous, at first, when it came to the thought of photos. Back in Knoxville, she was known for her impulsiveness, often in the form of pranks or aggression (all depending on who she is dealing with; boys who flirted with her or got too close to her face often received a punch in the gut as a statement that she was not to be easily won over). It was awkward whenever pictures of her were hinted at because she had to appear as gentle and unmenacing as possible, things she sometimes struggled with. Rebecca did her best to hide that awkwardness, not wanting to seem weak in front of her master.

"Yeah, I know what you mean." A smile was on her face. "It'd be great to look back and see the pleasant memories of what all happens here."

---

Charles nodded when Anna asked the question she did. The look on her face when she squealed made him want to giggle, yet he kept it internal. Hugging her back, the Scotsman heard her say that he should meet her parents. He nodded and said, "Sure! Why not? It'd be great!" Or not so great, considering Andrew might be there...

---

Agatha noticed Andrew's nervousness and gave him a long and comforting hug. "Don't worry! She won't bite!"

Eliab nodded when asked if Katherine will see him around. "Yep!" He enjoyed the fact she appreciated his art. The yankie was afriad it could not match up to artists who draw similar scenery professionally. As he picked up his backpack, he went over to Charles.

"Alright, love birds!" Eliab had a mischevious grin on his face. "Class will start, soon, so I think it's time we head on over!"

Charles let go of Anna to check his watch. "Ah, crud! You're right, mate!"

Charles hugged Anna again and said, "Well, sweetie, I guess we need to get going." After kissing her again, he went with Eliab back to the building.

The yankie butler nudged his master playfully as they walked on over. "Take it easy, there, tiger! Sheesh! Don't you think it was a bit rash?"

The half-Scotsman shrugged. "I don't know what you're talking about!"

---

Agatha heard the Bell ring. "Aw, It's time to head to class!" She held Andrew's hand and said to him with a smile, "Well, let's go, silly!"

"Bye!" Anna squeaked, then snatched up her things and went sprinting off to find her brother and show him her new hair cut. He was going to flip. It would be so awesome!

Andrew smiled and nodded, beginning to walk towards his next class. He wondered vaguely where his sister might be as he saw a girl with short-cropped blonde searching about a little ways away from them. "So...were you serious about me meeting your Yia Yia?" Andrew piped up, "Not that I don't want to, I just...don't make the best first impressions."

Once inside, Charles asked his butler Eliab, "Where do you have to go from here?"

"Music."

The half-Scotsman snapped his fingers. "Dang. I have to go to Biology. That means we have two classes before we're in the same one." Walking off, he called out, "Well, mate, see you in PE!"

---

Agatha nodded. "Of course I'm serious, Andrew!" Her eyes sparkled at the thought. "Don't worry! She has seen plenty of people! I seriously doubt she'd be the least bit surprised!" She tried to hold back laughter, barely succeeding. She knew he was nervous, and was trying to lighten the mood and cheer him up.

Right when she was about to add anything further, the Grecian noticed a blonde girl heading in their direction. She realized who it was immediately. Giving a wave, Agatha said, "Hi, Anna!"

"That can't be Anna," Andrew murmured, she doesn't have long enough..." he trailed off, staring closer at the blonde, his jaw dropping open. Her hair. Where was all her hair?! Was she out of her mind, what had she done with her hair? Andrew just gaped, unmoving, as Anna-Beth trotted over to the pair, smiling gently.

"Hullo, Agatha, Andrew. How was your lunch?" she tittered conversationally, smiling and ignoring her brother's gaze. She liked her short hair, she found it fitting, and a bit daring. Before, it had been so long that she had sometimes sat on it when she wasn't paying attention, causing a weird jerking movement when she tried to stand. Now...now she felt both closer and further from her twin. She prayed he would understand.

"Oh, we weren't hungry. We walked in the hallways instead." Agatha hugged Andrew tightly from behind. "I was just telling Andrew it would be wonderful if you two came with me to meet Yia Yia! She won't bite, I promise!" This more cheerful side to the Grecian was not something that was seen since her parents died. It usually came out when she was with family, but being with Andrew had the same effect, now.

"You two," Anna-Beth smiled, "are adorable. And I'd love to meet her, we both would, I know it!" With a big smile, she turned to her twin, who was oddly silent, staring at her, his face an odd, unreadable mix of emotions. The pair stared at each other for a while, in silence, then grinned widely, Andrew suddenly laughing and nodding his head.

"Yeah, yeah, I'd love to meet your Yia Yia," Andrew snickered, looking down at the small Grecian and ruffling her hair slightly, "it'll be awesome."

Agatha leaned up and kiss Andrew on the cheek. Giggling, she chirped, "Well, we don't want to be late for class, do we?" She was excited about her Yia Yia meeting the twins. She knew they would be treated well in the house. There was much love in her family, it often tumbled out. Nobody would be disappointed.

"Yes we do," Andrew groaned, synonymous with his sister's happy chirp of, "Not at all!" They looked at each other and smiled, tense. There was going to be a conversation soon, they both knew. But now was not the time. Taking Agatha's free hand, then stretching to get her brother's free hand, Anna tugged the pair forward, awkwardly prancing before them like a show pony.

Agatha did not like how tense they were. Somehow, she knew matters would grow worse once the conversation between the twins got started. All that tension over a haircut? What's wrong with it? I think it's pretty, though I probably should not mention that to Andrew. "Are you okay?" The Grecian asked, concerned.

"Parents," they both sighed at the same time, glancing at each other and closing their eyes. Anna-Beth smiled, trying to look brave.

"Mother would not approve of this. Neither would Daddy. And there's other worries, as well...I'm starting to wake up to that reality." She shook her head fiercely, as though to force the thoughts from her head. "It's not a big deal, really, don't worry."

Andrew sneered and frowned. "They'll lose their minds and Anna will cry and it'll be a big ugly mess."

"All because of a haircut?" Agatha could not understand why shorter hair would be a problem. Having to let it grow out so long meant a harder time managing it, for one thing, which was why the Grecian usually kept her hair shoulder-length. "Why would they lose their minds over it? What's wrong with short hair?" She picked up a strand of her brown hair. "I mean, you don't mind how my hair looks, Andrew, so where's the problem with Anna's hair?"

"To our parents, outer appearance is...everything. I should have short hair, and Anna should have long hair. We should only call each other our full names in public, no nicknames, Anna-Beth and Andrew, that's it. We're supposed to wear fitted, nice clothing. No wrinkles, or stains, not too big, not too small." Andrew sighed and shook his head.

"According to my mother, the longer my hair gets, the more 'regal' I appear, and the more people will respect me and my family. It's the same reason I have to be skinny, and know basic women's duties: cooking, sewing, music, etcetera."

"And I should be strong. Classic man. It's really ridiculous, the things that we've had jammed down our throats since childhood. I heard our mother comment once how it'd be more difficult to marry off Anna, since she has the eye injury."

Agatha's eyes widened in disbelief as she said under her breath, "Come heartless! Di che meravigliarsi c' sono amore nella loro famiglia!" How heartless! It's no wonder there is no love in their family! It was a habit of hers, to speak in Italian whenever she talked to herself. The Grecian just stood there, motionless for a moment, trying to sink in what the twins just told her. It explained why Andrew did not want Agatha to tell anyone about his more sensitive side, as well as his reaction to Anna-Beth having short hair.

Once she regained movement, Agatha began to walk again, holding Andrew's hand. She remained silent for much of the stroll down the halls. What was told to her was completely unexpected. None of it made sense, at all. It was not until much later that her speech returned to her, somewhat. "I..." Oddly enough, there was nothing she could say. The best she could come up with was holding onto Andrew a little bit with both arms, trying her best to keep calm. Her eyes made it obvious that she was upset by how the twins were being treated by their parents.

"Don't worry so much," Anna-Beth smiled, "it's the usual sort of thing for us. We always figured that every family of high station was like ours, it wasn't until recently we realised we were mistaken."

Andrew squeezed Agatha's hand and nodded. "It's true. There's nothing to be done about it, it's just life. That's why I'm always so angry about my family, why I keep my hair this messy, why I do...nearly everything I do. I've always been the black sheep, and Anna was the one that kept everything held together."

Agatha felt a bit better when she heard the twins' words. A smile entered her face before she nodded. "Alright." She looked around the hall as she walked beside Andrew. "What class do we have, now?"

"English, I think," Anna-Beth smiled, then blinked at her brother. "Und nach dem, deutsch!" And after that, German!

Andrew smirked and rabbled back, "ch mag Deutsch mehr sprechen, als ich Englisch sprechen mag, manchmal." I like speaking German more than I like speaking English, sometimes.
