Centuries have passed since the ex-spiritual detective Yuske Urameshi instituted the Demon World tournament, an attempt to introduce the concept of democratic election to the chaotic realm of demon-kind, which incidentally worked out quite well for both demon as well as man-kind as the newly crowned Demon King's one and only edict forbid demons from tampering with the human world, consequently leading to the barrier between realms being dissolved once more. Alexis Diskea, who's newly awakened yet uniquely potent spiritual powers has thrust her off the road to joining the police force, and head first into the world of demon hunting and other such mysterious happening.
