History: Vahn was born and raised in Ashel. He was taught as any other boy from the mystical city he came from; That he was pure, great, and superior to all the scum of Estwari and Ceyas. Yet, all his life, some impulse inside told Vahn that those teachings were wrong. He one day voiced his opinion on peace rather than hatred of the misunderstood Estwarians and humble Ceyasites. That was the same day he lost his right arm. His parents, friends, and all manner of acquaintances were too ashamed or embarrassed to speak up or help him, a heretic. He was thrown out of Ashel, badly beaten and missing an arm. Thankfully, there was a band of people from Ceyas that rescued Vahn from the otherwise fatal situation. It was not ucommon for such bands to be waiting by the borders to save those whom had been exiled. He was taken in as a refugee at 12 years old and his arm was replaced… by a metal forged replica, that was powered by his own magic. The sight of it was a life changing a moment, Metal and Magic working together to save his life. He would take that mantra to shape his life over the next 8 years as a peace activist.
Your place in the world: Vahn Rayox, nearly 21 years of age, spent nearly half his life devoted to bringing about an end to the constant fighting between Estwari and Ashel, and will soon get the greatest opportunity for a lasting peace any mortal could get. The latest Ceyas diplomat to Estwari and Ashel was assassinated, and Vahn is to replace him. The thought of diplomacy being rejected with such force was a terrifying thought, but it was something Vahn believed in. He could not walk away from this chance to change Leron.

Role play sample:
Captain Jek did a double take as the soldiers took up positions on the opposite ends of the hallway, though he didnt see the group behind him. Jek panicked and didn't know what was happening. He readied his quicksilver to defend the 3 of them as the soldiers took up firing positions.

A grenade was thrown and the whole scene happened in an instant

Jek could only tell, from the limited time given, that the soldiers were hostile and not about to give any warning. the second after the grenade was thrown, Jek ejected the quicksilver in front of him to block all the bullets coming from that direction. But he was blind to the units behind the trio.

Not 2 seconds later, he heard bullets whizzing past and flesh being punctured. With a worried face, Jek turned to see Carrie fall and bleed furiously. The Captain's thought's raced. He could save her... but he would need to expend the quicksilver wall that was mostly defending them.

"What do I do?!" He muttered frantically. "Cease fire!" Jek yelled at last. The bullets and noise stopped and the wall of silver melted into its typical form. Jek leaned down and tried to see what he could do to help Carrie. Nothing... nothing at all... His face went pale and cold sweat ran down the side of his cheek. She had bled too much, and sealing the wounds shut with his quicksilver would do nothing.

Suddenly Jek's sullenness turned to rage as he got up and stormed over to the troops on the south end of the hall, the side he didn’t guard. His quicksilver went into action once more and had the nearest soldier in a vice grip held in the air just enough so that his feet could not touch the ground. His face came close to the soldiers and he screamed in true fury, "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST DO??" Jek's angered swelled and got the better of him.
