Melody rode her bike down the street, passing by cars, people, and animals that were all frozen. Everything she saw was tented in a blue color. Her glasses were in her pocket and she could see perfectly clear right now. She hummed lightly to herself heading for her friends house so they could go up to the old junk yard and make weapons to fight against the Darklings and slithers. She peddled faster liking the speed. She had always loved to race with her friends, which she would when she met up with them. Maybe they could go chase lightening or something like they had the night before.
