The year is 3002 and the whole world is at war. We have created new machines to help win for our side. It must have spread through the enemie bases since there are new generations of it. If we are to win this we must fight!

Mizuki walked across the runway and down the path toward her Mech. She wanted to do some speed training before her next mission. She knew she didn't need it but she loved the rush of the speed as she sat in her customized Mech. She climbed up into her seat and closed the back. She typed in her 12 digit code then pressed the engine button. The machine roared to life under her and she smiled. She felt invincible inside the machine. It gave her comfort for some reason. It was like her only family. She slowly manuvered her Mech to be centered straight down the runway and took off at over 100 mph.

Hibuki sat at the second story window of the section 5520 base. He watched how his commander got into her Mech with ease. I bet I could do that if I wanted to, he thought. He liked watching everyone use their Mechs. He wanted to learn more stratagies so that one day he could become leader. He wanted to be the best fighter there was and end this war so he could take all the glory in saying he won the whole thing by himself. He hoped that one day after the war people would recognze him and make him the ruler of the world. Now that's something that would keep me entertained for a long time. He thought t himself.

After an hour's work of speed training Mizuki parked her Mech by the charge station. She carefully got out and plugged in all the wires that went into her Mech. These things need to be charged 24/7 she thought with a sigh. After she plugged in her machine she headed towards the elevator near it to go back inside.
When she got upstairs she found the whole entire first floor empty which made no sense since the game equipment was here, like the new quilim suit. The suit where you can relive a life and have a dream life of your own. Usually she'd find Hibuki in the suit waving to randow space or playing video games even if there was no console. She started to walk upstairs and saw Hibuki asleep at the window. "Hey wake up! You have to be ready in case we're sent out at last minute." She commanded in her strictest voice. She took her job very seriously.

Hibuki startled awake at the sound of his commander's booming voice. "What is it now? I just trying to get some sleep!" He complained as he fell back into his slumber.

Mizuki cursed under her breath and walked away into the base's kitchen she knew their leader would be upset if they were slacking off. "Well, it hasn't been the first time." She thought aloud. She grabbed a bottle of water and took a nice long sip. She set the bottle down and tried one more time to wake Hibuki up. She pushed him onto the floor and yelled, "WAKE UP NOW PILOT, OR I WILL PERSONALY REPORT YOU TO OUR LEADER!"

Hibuki jerks awake and grumbled. "Why is it so important to stay awake when nothings happening?" He got up, streched and walked downstairs to play with his quilim suit.

Mizuki rolled her eyes and walked away back into the kitchen to finish her water.

Background:Born inside the turmoil of the war he quickly learned to fight and had a real flare for it. He was good at the melee but excelled to the top of his class in artillery and sharp shooter. After he graduated he was immediately put on a team. Very flamboyant and wild he can be pretty crazy on the battle field.

Mizuki threw her water bottle away and walked into the lounge. She sat down, put her feet up, and changed the channel to the news to see if anything was happening. Nothing here so far... She thought after 5 minutes. She quickly changed it to the next news channel. She wasn't very pateint in watching the news.
