Background History:

Being born on the planet Mars her parents thought at first to both be human. Trillian’s father actually coming from an entirely different solar system. Many light years from the Milky Way Karisten adopted the sir-name of DeFoe to blend in with the humans. His small space-craft unable to make it any further crashed on the red planet earthlings knew as Mars. As a Scientist this alien met Trillian’s mother Alana and fell madly in love. Spending his time on Mars with the human woman they worked closely together on many projects to help turn the planet into a safe haven.

The threat of World War VII forcing many American’s to seek another planet all together. Two past wars between leaving the atmosphere nearly unbearable to live in anymore. Other planets too being colonized such as Venus. During the prospects of another War these Scientist are not only assigned to the task of readying the planets for more human life. This accompanied with further exploration of space itself. Soon as they neared a break through Alana found herself pregnant with Trillian. Overwhelmed with the prospects of this pending war now the two parents had more to look forward to. This being the perfect opportunity for Karisten to tell Alana the truth about himself.

Born in the year 2304 Trillian was raised to know she was different; special; then the other children therefore Karisten interjected the idea of raising her to be Wicca. By now the church has been overruled by the occult. Mankind; at least most of it; tossed aside the thought of a God when this omnificent being has done nothing to save those made in ‘his’ form. Many of the ‘God’ followers remaining on Earth with hopes to be saved.

As Trillian grew and learned of Wicca and the many rituals passed down she began to realize exactly how different she is. Able to move things with her mind as well as produce flames along with a vast list of findings. She also learned the importance to use her special gifts for the good rather then the already growing evil. Seeing what has happened to the mother planet Earth she has no desire to make her life on Mars so unpleasant. Never letting on to the powers she has developed during her schooling years Trillian just seemed like any other popular girl. Friendly and out-going she never had a problem finding fun with her friends or dates with the boys.

As she grew into adult hood Trillian followed in the footsteps of her parents. Finding an interest in Sciences and the ever growing problem of expanding space exploration she has developed a few ideas of ‘hyper space drive’. While she grew so did the settlements on Mars making it more like a few large cities then a small colony. Over 300,000 beings living on the red planet yet how many like her father Karisten?
