Important note: This character was not originally made for role-play, but for a book I am writing, he is one of a group of people known as the 'afflicted,' who are the descendants of test subjects, of which a genetic modification that was intended to be used in armies, police forces, etc. These 'afflicted' all have abnormal abilities, such as superhuman strength, no-light vision, heightened hearing, smell, or taste, surface-thought reading, and magnetism. Said powers are all classified as 'limit breaks.' An important note is that while their abilities increase, their body is the same, and breaks just as easily. This will be one of my two main characters on this site... probably.
Name: Andrew Bowman
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Limit-break area: Legs; able to jump up to 25 feet (if using proper form, 28), and run beyond human speeds (maximum speed: around 70 mph)
Physical description: About 5’ 3” tall, has thin, wiry muscles, built for endurance rather than strength. Pale skin, green, almond shaped eyes, and red hair.
Personality: A bit light-hearted sometimes, but if you anger him, he grows cold, and will extract revenge in whatever way he decides is best. Once he has set his mind on something, good or bad, he will go to any ends to achieve his goal.
Background: Andrew was used as a willing test subject of the organization from age 10, said tests were to try to find a way to prolong the life of those with the dysfunction. Almost every test ended in failure. In the end, no way was found to extend the life, though the experiments did weaken Andrew’s powers slightly, which did count as positive results. Minor, but positive. Due to the tests, he is expected to live until age 45 before dying.
Greatest Fear: To be useless.
Point of Origin: NYC.
Motivation: Saving/curing others of the afflicted, or at least trying to find a cure.
Other facts: Andrew is terrible at handling money, and spends it as quick, if not quicker, than he gets it. He also, several years before, in an attempt to jump over a building, ended up crashing through a glass ceiling into a party. Despite being raised in America, Andrew’s family is of Scottish descent.
