This is a story I've been writing/fussing over for the better part of two years, scrapping it twice and rewriting the beginning seven times before being satisfied with it. It's incredibly long (the first part is over 100K words), and the entire story is going to be at least two parts long, perhaps three if I can stretch it out.
The story is set on the island-continent of Blodheim, from whence all elements were borne and created. The sentient races have been more or less been dominated by the Elves, who are slowly taking control of one nation after another. Already the Dwarves are their slaves, working in their own mines so that the Elves may continue to make their coins and weapons, and the Wolves have lost many of their homes to deforestation. Sadly, the majority of the people of Blodheim have given up fighting the Elves, and only a scattered Resistance remains. I won't go in to too much detail in the description, because I don't want to spoil any of the surprises or twists.
Any review and criticism is appreciated, because I want this to be as perfect as I can possibly make it.
So, without further ado, I give you part one of what I consider to be my magnum opus, Call for Rebellion.
