A cold winters breeze blows through the draughty shelter you put up. Its not nice, but its the least of your worries, as are the destruction of the city you live in, and the shortage of food and clean water. The main thing that haunts you day and night are - ZOMBIES.

Ewan clutched his switch blade and looked around at the shelter they had erected. It was a VW camper van, barricade up with benches and shopping carts, along with ducktape over the windows in a feeble attempt to keep out the draught. He opened the minicooler to get some food and stopped in horror. It was gone. That meant they were going to have to make a food run. Ewan hoped they'd survive this time. He then shook his comrades awake, ready to make the run.

Equipment: tool and repair kit , small knife , bionic hand and legs
Description:

Personality:very inquisitive nature , sometimes acts like a child , very smart, thinks he knows everything but very kind
Biography: lost his arm and leg in the early raids many years ago, now makes weapons out of anything he can find

as Yoshi rummaged outside for usable parts and food , a shiny gleam caught his eye,

BANG , a bullet whizzed by Yoshi's head and smashed into the van

a rival group of raiders had spotted them and are trying to take over the camp , all Yoshi could do was run back grab his friend and take off into the small office building across the street

Ewan hurtled into the offices with Yoshi. He marvelled at his friends bionic limbs. He grabbed a nearby plant pot and hurled it back towards the attackers, doing little. Another hail of bullets smashed into the floor around him.
Ewan crawled behind a nearby desk and looked to Yoshi for help.

Kailyn rolled her eyes, slamming her metal gloved hand into the face of a raider. On both hands she wore these metal gloves, about 45 lbs a piece. She smirked and backflipped, landing on top of the desk in which Ewan rested under. "Scared?" she teased, smirking. She jumped down from the desk, hands on her hips.

Ewan scowled up at Kailyn.
"Is that any way to talk to your medic?" he grumbled.
He began to stand up when another bullet flew passed and he dropped back down. He pulled a small bottle out of his pocket.
"Drink this" he said handing it to Kailyn "It will give you some adrenaline to finish those bastards off"

Kailyn waved it off. "Keep it for yourself, wimpy," she teased once more. It was her favorite activity, during a fight. Teasing Ewan till he got really annoyed with her. She held up her hands and smirked before launching off the ground into the air, slamming her foot into the head of a raider. The raider slammed into the floor and she went after the next, wasting no time in getting the job done. She held one up by the collar and grinned, holding up her gloved hand. "I wonder how much this'll hurt?"

Ewan fumed. He knew she'd do this. She always did. He shoved the adrenaline back in his pocket, and walked amongst the fallen raiders. He had to admit she was amazing. He picked up one of the raiders guns and fired it. The force threw him backwards into a heap on the floor. Blushing he distracted himself by using his his monitor on the raiders. Suddenly it beeped: this raider wasn't dead, he wasn't even unconcious! He grabbed Ewan by the throat and began to squeeve the life out of him.

"Uh-oh! Sorry, sweetheart, but I gotta friend to save." Kailyn bashed the raider's head into the wall and launched across the floor, behind Ewan. "Need some help, darling?" She smirked and grabbed the raider's arm, bending it back. "One, two, three," she counted off, breaking the raider's fingers from Ewan's throat. "Four, five." She stomped her foot into the raider's stomach and pushed Ewan back. "Don't. Touch. My. Friends," she hissed, her eyes changing from dark brown to red.

Ewan breathed a sigh of releaf. Whatever anyone said about Kailyn, you could always depend on her. He swigged a small vial of blue liquid and felt much better immediatly. Then he noticed something odd about Kailyns eyes.
"Do you want me to take a look at your eyes?" He asked, his position as a medic overiding any argument.

Kailyn blinked and her eyes returned to normal. "Nah, I'm fine," she said, rubbing her eyes against her glove. "Just a problem I have."

Then Ewan rememberd their task.
"We still need food though" He said worridly "Where do you think we should go?"

Annoyed Ewan began to look around He store a convience store and began to walk towards it.
"There'll be food in here!" he smiled.
Suddenly zombies burst out of it. Ewan picks up a bottle off the floor and lobs it. It hits and kills a zombie.
"He Kailyn!" he cried "Check it out, I killed one!"

Kailyn walked up behind him, resting her chin against his shoulder, an eyebrow raised. "Hm...a straight, clean throw to its cerebral cortex...nice job."

This suprised Ewan not used to such close physical contact.
"Umm, thanks" He smiled happily "You better take the rest of them!"
He touched her metal gauntlets "These babies should make short work of them"

"Gotcha!" Kailyn grinned. "This outta be fun." She moved swiftly from his side towards the zombies. Her gloves made loud cracking noises as they slammed against the jaws and noses of the zombies. "Hm? Who knew zombies could get broken bones," she said, gleefully.

Ewan laughed. She enjoyed this far too much. He waited until she had finished her thing before walking over to her. He stood next to her a surveyed the scene in front of them. Corpses litterd the ground. Yoshi was no where to be seen. It was them against the world. He began to feel emotional.
"Come on" he said gruffly "Lets go get some food"
