Apparently something bordering on both disbelieve and shock had replaced Kore's fear once she felt the metal collar fall off her neck and land with a slight clatter onto the floor. For a few seconds she couldn't really say anything seeing as she was caught off guard by her master's actions. She had never in her life been without some kind of collar wrapped around her neck, and it was a strange feeling not having something cold and metal pressed up against her skin. True she wasn't stupid enough to think he was letting her go, she was far to valuable to him, but still she definitely had never expected him to even consider removing the chains at all.
Then again she had little time to think on this new turn of events, seeing as his next question was one she had already anticipated he would ask. She knew saying any names might end badly for everyone involved, but at the same time she knew that hiding it wouldn't help things either.
"Strife, his name is Strife. I don't know if he was the one behind everything, but he was the one who came and asked me if I would leave with him. He told me nothing else and I don't know what happened to him after that."
Of course Kore really had no idea if Strife was the mastermind behind these escapes, or if someone else was involved. He knew that more then likely she would be forced to tell her master if he had told her anything important, so why tell something to someone that could be to much of a liability? Either way all she could tell Marcus was what she had just said and if he was expecting more then that, well unfortunately she wouldn't be able to give any more information to him.
