Forgotten Earth

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby BekTheWolf on Mon Jan 09, 2017 4:27 pm

OOC: This roleplay is of an earth where humans have all died and gone and all that is left are creatures of lore and legend. Fantastical creatures; vampires, werewolves, dragons, and spirits. Anything you can think of. Do as you wish, but no power play or killings unless the owner of the character said it's alright to kill off that character. Minimum post length is 300 words. Romance is allowed but no in-depth sexual gore, ok? Good. Also, violent gore is alright, though. Have fun!

In Character

Deep in an evergreen forest of the Forgotten Earth, a screech of a dragon could be heard in the distance. Looking up, a tall man -- clad in a brown shirt and pants, was down on one knee in the shadows of a large tree that was the width of ten men. He donned a large green cloak that he wore it hood up as he gazed across a clearing. Silent as a lamb, still as a tiger, the mysterious figure waited as something approached the light.

A feeble old doe staggered into the clearing, soaking up the light of the red sun. From the shadows, the golden eyes of the man shown as he drew his bow and notched an arrow to the string--not a sound other than the crunch of pine needles beneath the hooves of the doe, stirred the air. The old doe may have been hard at hearing and sight, but her sense of smell was as sharp as ever. Suddenly, the wind changed and the deer tensed as the smell of the person hiding in the shadows wafted into her nose. Turning her head towards the man, a small whistle came to as an arrow zoomed through the air and planted itself through the right eye of the doe and out the back of her skull. A swift and silence death enfolded over the prey animal.

The man stepped out of the shadows. He was very tall, about a foot taller than even the average height of those ancient species called the Human. He had long braids dark brown hair in random places on his head amongst the thick waves of his hair. Hawk and eagle feathers were woven into the braids. His features were well defined and strong. The golden light of his eyes shown even in the shadow of his face as he looked down at the carcass before him. Four long scars scoured the left side of his face, ruining his handsome features, but giving him the look of experience that what this man had gone through, deserved. His heavily tanned skin was only a few shades lighter than that of his brown leather clothing and his dark brown wolf tail shown quite defiantly against the lighter colors of his clothing, despite matching his hair color.
His name was Bek, and this doe this wolvine marksman just killed, was about to be his first meal in a very long time.
