What I have found when tagging a character in a post, on the bottom of where you submit the post, you have to type in the start of the character's name including any capital letters. Then it offers up matches and click on the match to set it as a tag. :)

Correct, you would need to write how the summons reaches your character if you wish to include it, but otherwise, they would be greeted by one of the servants at the door, any cloak taken, and then escorted to the room with Pivet and Nevae.
