Seeking players for the Blackened Coast

Something is eating up the land from the inside out and the outside in, making the realm live up to its name, Blackened Coast. The shores are turning black with the bodies of beached creatures, dead and rotting. The heart of the area has seen a significant increase in temperature, to the point of becoming inhabitable. It is only a matter of time before the entire land is an empty husk where no life treads. The Council has put out a call for all able and willing adventurers to discover the source of the corruption, and stop it before it is too late.

This is where the story will begin. The foundation is based on my love of Dungeons & Dragons, however there are no dice rolls, no character stats, etc, just writing. I have detailed the races and classes, according to my own interpretation, to fit the world I have envisioned.

I am currently looking for 3 players, 4 maximum. I want to start out with a small group but may allow additional player characters down the road. This is not first come, first accepted, but rather ‘best fit’ based on the character submission. I am looking for proficient writers that can draw me in without giving me a ton of useless information as ‘filler text’. I want to feel the character and gain a firm glimpse of their personality, and made to crave more.

I'm highly interested and a huge fan of D&D. Time allowing, I'll have a character submitted for the Cleric sometime this day. :)

Wonderful! I plan on starting as soon as one character is approved, to bring them into the main area where the quest and story will truly begin.

Your username and avatar are adorable. Ladybugs are my favorite. There is a ladybug plush dozing lazily on its back inside of a ladybug cookie jar on my desk.

I have a phobia of most insects, but some bugs I can get closer to than others. Ladybugs and dragonflies, to name a couple. :)

With a couple characters in pending approval, I am no longer accepting character submissions for the start of this story. I will however consider additional characters submitted for the waiting list once I open up more spots down the road.
