Azazel clearly indicated in the rules that reservations were unnecessary- characters are accepted on the basis of creativity and originality, not first come first serve.

Oh and Fredalice, check the Weapons section of the rules. DrasticMeasures states that things like handguns and crossbows are about as advanced as technology gets, so use that to base your characters relative time zone on.
