Re: Simon Says...

Well, that was a quite common subject to write a poem about, but if it makes you emotional, then so be it. I like the use of the Simon Says game to describe "Simon"s promises. The idea of Simon Says is that you're supposed to trust Simon and follow what he says, so it should be crushing to...

Re: Simon Says...

I was about to review your poem, but then I realised that you didn't say "Simon says." That was close, I almost lost the game!

Re: What do you think about LGBTQ people, marriage, and rights?

How would you place yourself on the political spectrum? Conservative? Liberal? I am a piano tuner. How are the state of affairs involving same-sex rights in your country/state? Can we get married? Is it limited to lesbians or gay men only? No overt expression of homosexuality is permited in my comm...

Re: On Bending the World to One's Will

The answer, in short -and in my experience- is a big fat yes. I'll give a simple example you can all relate to: you're getting home from school/work/wherever, hungry as hell. 'Damn, I really feel like a burger', you might be thinking-- you open the door; fuck yes! There are burgers on the table! Ex...

Re: TikoTaco Artwork.

Those are actually really impressive, especially when the patience required for stipling is taken into account. The shading is great.

Re: Where Do Morals Come From?

Oh how wonderful that this topic comes up now, since I've been taking an ethics philosophy class in college this semester. :-) AND THEREFORE MY OPINION COUNTS WAY MORE THAN YOURS (j/k) My opinion is that morals exist, but not literally so. They exist in the same way that words, stories, dreams, and ...

Re: Your favorite style of roleplay

Both as a gamemaster and a player, I liike for there to be an obvious goal in mind from the start of the game. When players are free to do what they want, they usually end up doing nothing but standing around talking about their backstories or getting into meaningless fights. As a player, I want to ...

Re: [OOC] Power Rangers: Dragon Blaze

Since various teams of Power Rangers have engaged in hundreds of giant robot fights in the middle of major cities since 1993, I think the existance of Power Rangers is public knowledge. As for the tattoo: Although it may look like it, it's not a Power Rangers tattoo. It is a gang tattoo from Owlmer'...

Re: [OOC] Power Rangers: Dragon Blaze

Being young is no obstacle to being a Power Ranger . The problem with Draruto's character was that I had intended for everyone to start out as a civilian and then get ranger powers. However, Draruto signed up with a character who had already become the Black Ranger before the begining of the story....

Re: [OOC] Power Rangers: Dragon Blaze

I made a reference to "teenagers with attitude" firstly because this is inspired more by the original series more than anyting else, and secondly because most people on this website play as teenagers more than half the time anyway. Wouldn't yah know it, I get the one batch of players who w...
