I assume that our characters get their Personas now? Or do they meet Igor first before having encountering the counterpart of themselves and have them try to fight on the first try? If this continues with the only two of us, we can form a team of our own (NPCs) and proceed from there?

As in, just research. To find out how the BLUcycle had changed a human in ways of DNA and those complicated stuff that I don't know. Basically, I think the research center's objective were to find a cure or a "suppressant" to suppress the Mutant's powers.
