shiphand= someone who works on the ship

shipmate= someone who's on the ship with you (or subject person/group); a part of the ship's crew.

just sayin'. :p

Why? is that neccasary? they're a crew, let everyone control them. Being the captain i'll probably control them as a whole more then other characters, but let anyone do anything with them.
