In the middle of Manchester is a school, Marigold High School. It seems fairly normal; the grades are high, none of the teachers have criminal records, and even though there’s the odd bully, nothing seems too bad on the surface. Of course, there’s always something swept under every rug...
Some students seem off in various ways, though it’s not as obvious with some. Everyone has a dirty little secret of some sort, and it would be better if they didn’t get out.
Of course, not everyone gets their wish. Soon, secrets are exposed, and everything is thrown into uproar; but what secret’s real, and what’s a spiteful rumour?

Eden is naturally friendly, and gets on with all the studens she teaches because she's always good-natured, and she can relate to them and their school problems. She gets along with most people she meets, especially if they're book lovers; Eden teaches English, and can get a bit overexcited when talking about writing, which is her passion.
BIOGRAPHY;;
Eden was raised by her father, after her mother was killed in a motor-bike accident when she was two. She was always very close to her dad, but in her teenage years she acted out a bit. She was kicked out of school, and quickly wised up, knuckling down to her studies and going on to university. She had a flair for English, and went on to do a degree in it, before coming to teach in Marigold High. She got on well with all the students, one more than others; eventually, they were in a relationship. They tried to keep it all hushed up, but Eden found she was pregnant, and as she's single, she knows that she'll have to get rid of it to keep the relationship going; but the thought of abortion disgusts her, and she doesn't know what to do anymore.

To people who don't know her very well, Maria is your basic stereotype of a geek; awkward and quiet, and just really smart. Around her friends, she's a lot more outgoing than you would think, but she can still be dead quiet at the same time. She's very imaginative and ambitious, and is willing to do anything to get out of her hometown and make a good life for herself, not really having much. She's extremely passionate about art, and is hoping to make a career out of hers.
BIOGRAPHY;;
Maria's earliest (and only) memory of her parents are two people screaming at each other before her mother took her to a friend and left her there. Apparently, James and Patricia Bolden disappeared off the face of the Earth after that. The friend, Catrina Blaine, wasn't sure what to do with her, but eventually, she decided to adopt her, seeing as she had no children of her own.
It might have been a mistake.
She had very little money as it was, and had to work extra jobs to support herself and Maria, meaning Maria was independant from an early age. She used to draw when she was bored, just scribbles, but as she got older, she got better at it.
Because of her early home life, Maria has always been afraid of violence, so when the school bully started to attack some of her friends, she got involved with him, in the hopes of protecting herself. It didn't work, but Maria is too afraid to break the cycle she's gotten herself into.

Bella is fairly outgoing, and is usually a pretty good friend to everyone. Despite the fact she's in the Outcast group, people seem to like her, but when she gets mad, she's gets really mad, and is sometimes used by her friends as a bodyguard, but she doesn't mind. She likes the attention.
Of course, if she hates someone, she despises them, and there's only one person she'd love to see dead - Jasper Holmes. It's strange, because Bella and Jasper used to be inseperable, despite her being an Outcast and him being part of the 'It' Crowd, then something happened between them, and Bella started to hate him. Or so it seems - but she still has some secret feelings for Jasper that she's gotten incredibly good at hiding.
BIOGRAPHY;;
Bella is the third eldest child in a family of eight children; 24 year old Liam, 19 year old Alexia, her, 14 year old Camilla, 12 year old Zoé, 8 year old Tommy and the three and a half year old twins, Alison and Aaron. Their house is often in uproar, but it's home, so Bella is used to the chaos.
Liam was born before her parents were actually married, and though they were together, they never actually got married until Zoé was born. Each of them seemed to be gifted in one thing or another; for Bella, it was music. Unfortunately, this means she's sorely lacking in artistic and sports talent.
