Everything here takes place in South Korea in its capitol Seoul. With its busy streets, thundering businesses, competitive shops... It's hard to be drama free. Things happen, people fight... It's only human. This roleplay will follow four totally different people on their quest to becoming successful. Someone may be focus on keeping up with the latest trends... Others are solely focused on studying... The lucky ones are concentrating on keeping their family business thriving.

Alone... there is no story... However, what will happen when these four people's worlds collide?

They all knew each other before from grade school and music classes and other activites... but had long lost touch when they each went to pursue their own dreams. Strangely, the four are brought together by the death of someone who was important to all of them. Jung KyungTae.

He was a great man and it's a tragedy that he died when he still had so many years left to thrive. Yet... It's beautiful that his single funeral could reunite four very unique people and create such a love.... or hate.

Their teacher, friend, family, co worker... which ever it may be has died. They all went to KyungTae's funeral.. and that is where they all met up. That is when the drama starts. Old crushes rekindle... new ones are developed... rivalries are made..

ROLES

(All are between the ages of 22-26)
(They haven't seen each other in about five years or so)
Girl 1: This girl seems to have the whole world working against her. She studies and works hard to get into medical school. However, every time she has a chance, something comes along and ruins it. She will be between the ages 22-25. She always does her best but the single time she doesn’t, it counts the most. Her family is against her and try to discourage her from this dream. At the moment she is working in the family business and delivering baked goods to peoples homes. Girl 1 lives with both parents, grandparents, and five younger siblings. She used to be best friends with Boy 2 and Boy 1. She is very comfortable around Boy 2.
Relation to KyungTae: He paid for her heart surgery.

Girl 2: She’s a star and is quickly rising to the top. She was adopted when she was very young to a rich family and grew up spoiled with all the things that she could possibly want. She is an only child. Can be a singer/actress/model/ etc. She had a child hood crush on Boy 1 and it comes back to life very quickly. People adore her but are also afraid of her and the wealth/power she contains. She has never not gotten something she had set her eyes on. She will do anything she possibly can to achieve what she wants. She dated Boy 2 for a few weeks before deciding he wasn’t good enough for her. She has always disliked both of the guys’ friendships with Girl 1.
Relation to KyungTae: He was a close family friend

Boy 1: Boy 1 has always been the perfect child and heir to his rich family. He has one younger sister. He had always had a soft spot for his friend Girl 1 and envied the closeness between her and Boy 2. Then Boy 2 started dating Girl 2 and then he was reassured. He is very talented and skilled the way a heir should be. His manners are exquisite and many respect him. Boy 1 had tried to keep in touch with Boy 2 and Girl 1 but his duties kept him away from them. Soon, he forgot and went on with his own life. Being rich and important, he does not have many close friends, just acquaintances. He doesn’t like the thought of people using him. He knew Girl 2 because rich families know each other but never really paid much attention to her. He is in college for becoming a lawyer/businessman.
Relation to KyungTae: He was Boy 1‘s Uncle

Boy 2: He is probably the most well off out of the four of them. He has a relaxed home. He’s very popular with everyone.... especially the ladies and he has an amazing job that he loves and pays well. He is a famous sports player. He was very competitive with Boy 1 but protective of Girl 1. He was in love with Girl 2 but she broke his heart very quickly. He just uses women now. At the funeral, Girl 1 and him hit it off really well and he starts falling for her. Boy 2 is still slightly wary around Girl 2. He is willing to listen to Girl 1‘s problems when she goes to him.
Relation to KyungTae: He was Boy 2‘s neighbor.


It is okay if you are unfamiliar with Korean customs.. I will help as much as I can. It really isn't necessary though.


So. I will be playing an anonymous character that doesn't really interact with anyone. I am just there to get the plots moving and such. Maybe I will make a char if necessary.

If I think the time is right.. I may reveal something like,... a character is actually related to another one and such. Does that make sense? I promise that it will later.
