Introduction
Tyler has been abused by her boyfriend for a year now. At first, when they started dating three years ago, he was as sweet as he could be, but now he has changed. He abuses her, cheats on her, and he is hardly ever home.
You may be wondering why Tyler has a guy's name, well it's because her parents were expecting a boy.
Now, Tyler has gotten a job at a local market, where she works with Andrew. Andrew immediately took interest in Tyler, as soon as he laid eyes on her. During work one day, Tyler's shirt slips up slightly, and Andrew notices a few scratches, cuts, and bruises, and he becomes suspicious.
Soon, he finds out that Tyler's boyfriend, Darien has been abusing Tyler.
Tyler is slowly falling for Andrew as he tries to protect her, but she keeps her limits, since Andrew has a fiance.
Despite the fact that Andrew has a fiance, he has fallen in love with Tyler. He knows his fiance, Kaye, is only using him to make another guy jealous, but at first he actually did like Kaye.
So what will happen when Andrew ends up protecting Tyler?

"There was nothing you could do, this wasn't your fault... It was mine." Tears started to form in her eyes but she held them back as much as she could, the odd one escaping every so often
"Had I not been so selfish, and stupid, I would have not hurt him. I'm a horrible person, Tyler. I did this! I hurt the most perfect man in the world." By the end she couldn't hold the tears in and began to sob.
"Kaye, hun, this is all my fault, it's okay, don't blame yourself. I should have caught him before he fell," she patted Kaye's back, a few tears escaping her own eyes, and she choked back a sob.
Tyler let go of Kaye, and went into the room, despite the doctor telling her not to go in, and she clutched Andrew's hand in hers, "Are you okay?" she asked him softly, even though he was still unconcious, and she let the tears continue to stream from her eyes, and down her cheeks.

Darien had continued to hold and comfort Tyler until the doctor showed up. The way his fiance reacted to the doctor's words about this other man made him frown deeply. His anger grew as he watched her walk after the doctor without a word to him. Seeing her walk away from him to go to the bedside of some other man, it made him feel as if he was already loosing her. He couldn't sit still, he was too pissed of. He got up from the chair and stormed out of the hospital. Once outside, he knew he needed to calm down, normally, he'd take his anger out on Tyler, but with her not around, it just festered until it became too much and punched the brick wall of the hospital. It hurt like hell, but the pain didn't even pierce through the red haze of anger. He punched the wall again and again, until his knuckles were raw and bloody.

"Umm, Kaye, can I talk to you in the hallway? Yes? Okay," Tyler pulled Kaye out of the room with her, and she waited for the door to close before she spoke.
"Do we tell him about the break up? He obviously doesn't remember it. Oh my gosh, what do we do?" Tyler was freaking out even though she had no right to do so.
She started to hyperventilate, her panic getting to her. She couldn't breathe. "T-tyl-ler!" She didn't know what was happening and it was scaring her, which really wasn't helping. Her eyesight became blurry, and then she fell to the floor. She had fainted.
"Sure," the lady said, and she called a nurse on the intercom.
"What's the problem?" the nurse asked, running up to Tyler.
"My friend, she just fainted," Tyler told her, and she walked swiftly back to Kaye, the nurse following quickly behind.
