         Icarus was about to glare at his brother and tell him to move his ass when he sensed more than saw or heard a familiar presence. One that he really didn't feel like dealing with right then. And, of course, he was right. For once in his life, Icarus actually wanted to be wrong. At least then he wouldn't have to deal with the most annoying thing (human, mixed, half-blood, Demon Hunter, whatever the hell you wanted to call it) to ever be born-- Ryker. The most arrogant of all the Demon Hunters, almost exactly half the time. Icarus wasn't sure if they had ever spoken and ended with the brunette not wanting to kill something.

"Hey, Icarus! Watch this!" Despite himself, Icarus did "watch this", humming his approval (about as good as you were going to get) as one bullet hit, the other two missing. It was more of a "at least you hit something" rather than a "good shot you awesome hunk of a man!" approval, but that was still more than what Icarus usually did. About to shout for the idiot to finish off the Demon when he could, since the thing seemed to be stuck in place (why, Icarus wasn't sure, but he'd have to ask Ryker about those bullets), Icarus finally turned on Azrael, fire in his eyes.

"What is it?!" He practically shouted, frustrated that his little brother wasn't shutting up (like usual) and letting his older brother bring him to safety. Like, y'know, a good little brother would do.

"Ica," Ezzy said, pointing to the white-haired male and facing him. "It's a demon." You could have heard a pin drop. Icarus physically dropped Ezzy's hand, looking at the redhead with a look of complete shock on his face before turning towards the Demon. Now that he looked... Of course humans didn't look like that! What was Icarus thinking? Honestly, he had to study humans more often so he wouldn't make this stupid mistake again! The brunette summoned his sword, spinning the long duel-ended blade around slowly, before planting himself in front of Ezzy. If the thing decided to attack, it would have to get through Icarus first. The Angel was about to attack when a shout caught his attention.

"Are... ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? BULLSHIT!" ... Fucking asshole. At first Icarus figured he, with Ryker and the other Hunter, outnumber the Demons, but apparently that had been too much to hope for. Even the best Hunter was nothing without his weapons, and clearly this one was new at the game. If it had just been Icarus and the annoying asshole (that is, Ryker), the Angel would have continued to the fight. As it was, he knew that Zev would certainly not hesitate to rip Azrael apart, and that was something Icarus wouldn't allow under any circumstances. No, he couldn't allow it. Deciding to forget the sword for a moment, Icarus used the moment of shock to launch himself at the Demon in front of him, kicking him in the chest before flipping back around and grabbing onto Ezzy.

"We've gotta go." Glaring back at the Demon, Icarus bit his lip before muttering curses, fluttering his wings from annoyance and practically dragging Azrael away. As he did so, he looked over at Ryker. "Idiot! Asshole! Ryker! Grab your friend and let's get out of here!" Looking back at Zev, Icarus could have sworn the Demon was fucking smirking at him. Narrowing his eyes, Icarus made a mental promise to tear the Demon to shreds before switching positions with Azrael so the younger Angel was in front of his older brother. "You, keep going with Ryker." Raising his voice so Ryker could hear, Icarus called over, "Ryker! Bring Azrael to safety! You and your friend can get away!" Ignoring the look of surprise on his brother's face, Icarus physically pushed him forward before snapping open his wings fully and hovering a few feet above the ground.

"Zev! Demon! You and your friend's hearts are mine!" It was a standard challenge. Basically, the Angel promised to rip the Demon's heart out and offer it as a sacrifice to God... Which was a good thing, especially since Icarus wasn't exactly in the deity's favor at that moment. Something about being the best fighter, almost, but refusing to pass his genes along the normal way (that is, by liking females and marrying one) would get people mad at you. "Come at me!" Icarus shouted, hoping to distract the Demons long enough for his friends to get away. Besides, Icarus could take Zev! It would be easy!... It was the other Demon he had to watch out for.
