         Daisetsu was completely confused. Prior to today, all Daisetsu knew was that hollows were merciless and cold, with no sense for what's right or wrong in a fight. And yet, he's seen two arrancar back down from Junji talking them down, and now there were two more arrancar standing in front of him. The man who assaulted Kisharo seemed hostile, that was certain. He seemed arrogant about himself, and certainly had the power to back it up. Daisetsu didn't plan to back down from a fight, but he was concerned that this arrancar would be stronger than they could handle. And yet, there was the other female that showed up, presumably arrancar based on her interactions with the male. This woman seemed to have some sort of emotion and reason, so Daisetsu was determined that, if it came down to it, he would at least side with her.

"Alright... what's going on here, now... We go on a nice stroll through the desert, and now there's a bunch of arrancar attacking us. Who are you two, and what is your purpose here?" Daisetsu asked, with a demanding tone in his voice. He didn't care if the male thought himself superior, he would keep a confident tone in his voice. He looked to the female. "And what is your purpose? You seem different, arrancar. You dress like a shinigami, and show the caution of one as well," he said, trying to get on her good side, for whatever that was worth.
