Several years ago a young woman stole an aircraft off our homeland. She went to the forbidden island seeking answers, and she came back with them for everyone else. The island once rumored to be one of the most beautiful places in the world held only a single house that rose into the sky several stories, a cave, a small pasture land, and many people. Their leader was named Old Man Doc. He actually came from here, but left. Even that question was never answered.

That woman found the island in utter decay. There had been no fire, but the house was gray and charred. The whole island was. It was as if something evil had happened there and the whole place absorbed it. What could have happened that was that bad that the island became pure evil? Well, the woman came back and she was right again. Our entire world watched the video she came back with.

It still haunts my nightmares.

I was just a child when the video was played in The Square. I saw the faces in the walls move around her, things she didn’t see at the time. We all did. We even watched the reenactment of the woman’s death, not the one who came back; she was merely a vessel. She became possessed by the one who had died there. The last one to do so. She told us – everything.

It was hard for anyone to believe that the government who had ruled the land for so long was doing what it was accused of doing. That is until they come for you like they did me. Being different isn’t always the best thing.



Over sixteen years ago an unnamed woman stole an aircraft and went to the forbidden island. She came back with video footage of what had become of the island. She showed it to the world she called home. Little did she know what would happen afterwards. She was locked up, tortured and then just simply vanished. The government has been restless ever since the events took place. They took all of the footage and made sure to bury it deep. Everything they were accused of was researched fully. A few years later they were found innocent.

Once they were in the clear they continued right where they left off. No one noticed, just like the last time. For some they knew the truth and hide themselves as well as they could on the main land. For the rest however, they went on without knowing what was really going on around them. Except a small group of people located within the military forces; they are being assembled to go to the island and find out the truth of what went on there for themselves.

Our story starts with the team being brought together and going to the island. What they find there is either prove or disprove the video the unnamed woman brought back from the island. Did the government really take people who different, force them into the military, and make them killing machines? Some of the soldiers keep things very secret and don’t allow anyone to know very much about them. They are the ones who are different and know the real dangers the government poses to them and their families. They would do anything to keep their loved ones safe.

Now a small group of the “different” ones are being sent to the island for information. Little do they know they are being set up. They are the last evidence of the government’s follies that need to be taken care of. Could the island massacre happen again on the day of the sixty-sixth anniversary in the same location? Do the soldiers stand a chance?


The World:

Imagine a world that is only one city, but the world itself is not composed of several continents, but just one mainland that is completely connected. The epicenter of the world is called The Square. Here there is a stage for presentations, the marketplace where vendors sell their wares and products for life to go on. Everyone comes here to sell as very few people actually have enough money to own a shop of their own.

Just outside of The Square is the Business District. This is where the wealthy have their shops as well as any government controlled business or buildings. This is not where the government is actually held, but they conduct minor business in the area.

Surrounding the Business District is the Housing Units. No one actually owns anything unless they are wealthy or apart of the government. Most of the people live here in apartment style living. The Housing Units are one of the largest parts of the city. On the outskirts of the Housing Units is the pasture land where some families tend to the land. The Pastures produce all of the food for the people including fruits, vegetables, animals, etc.

On one side of the city is where the government buildings all are. Here is where all of the members of the government live and work. It’s called The Network. On the other side of the island is where the military is held. Here the training and living for the soldiers goes on and is simply called The Barracks.

While it doesn’t seem very large, it takes the people who live in The Pastures almost half a day by walking to reach The Square. Here there are no cars and everyone walks unless they live in The Pastures then they will have horses. Even the government officials walk everywhere. The military are the only ones who actually have vehicles which include cars, aircrafts, and submarines/boats. They are also one of the only ones with weapons. The government leaders have their own weapons, but very few people know about that.


There isn’t much outside of the city itself. There is the island that can’t even be seen from the city with the military’s technology. However, not very far from the island is a factory that makes a lot of the stuff for the city. It can be seen from the island only with the aid of the advanced lens. The factory was abandoned after the island massacre and another rebuilt much closer to the city itself.


Playable People:

The group heading to the island. I’m not sure on the amount yet, but I do know I want the ranks to be even if not more ranked in the favor of guys. Sorry, but mostly it is guys in the military not females, though in this case they don’t really get a choice. These people each have a special ability whether or not they know is up to you and of course whether or not they use it. When you make your profiles add in the power you’d like them to have. If it’s within reason and I don’t mind people having the same powers then I’ll allow. If not I will message you and discuss the options. Or you can just message me before hand.

The other team that is being sent in to kill these special people. While they have no abilities they do have technology that is used to combat the abilities. So be creative without godmodding of course. We would like some nice fight scenes. Right now these are the only two positions open, but as the rp proceeds and depending on how it goes decides if other positions open up later on down the road.

Note: This is based on a story of mine that is located on fictionpress under the same username if you want to read it. It is not completed yet, but it will probably be a great background subject. The story is based on a dream that I had earlier this year. Reviews for the story are also great and thanks for reading.
