Introduction
Just like what the quotes up there says. A mystery is just a simple puzzle created by the human mind. If someone was able to make this mystery, then that means someone can also solve it. Not every can do that though. These mysteries hides improtant facts, and often messes with the people's minds. Only those who can see through these illusions, can find the real answer to these mysteries... but remember... there's only ONE real answer.
There's never an ending to a case in this world. After one is solved, another one appears, and so on. It's a circle of life. People who gets blinded by hate, and revenge makes foolish mistakes. However, they also have the ability to to confuse others. Making it seem like it was just a total accident, suicide, and maybe even blame it on someone else. Yet, they still cant deceive the eyes of a detective.
The black organizations are a group of scary people. They're sneaky, smart, and deadly. Killing someone is a normal thing for them to do. They dont show any mercy, and in order to keep their organization as a secret, they will end their lives if needed. They dont hesitate to kill... ever. They use different alcohol names for their code names. Real names are unknown.
APTX 4869 a poison made by one of the members from the black organization. She had fled, but all the information about this poison remains with the organization. This pill was made to kill people. However, instead it turned people into little kids. They still dont have the pill that reverses this poison.
New high school detectives. Exactly what we need. They are highly smart kids from different parts of Japan. These kids love mystery and they also have the potential to solve a case. They might be different people, but they all share the same thoughts when it comes to solving a good mystery.
High School Detectives
(I will ONLY take about 5 it really depends on how many people joins)
1.) Ichiro Itsuki/Shiro Yoshida (detective who took the APTX 4869)
2.) Ai Yamaguchi/Sakura Heartnet (detective who took the APTX 4869)
3.) Lily Dawn Evans aka Lizzie Doyle (detective who took the APTX 4869)
4.) Mayu Ishida
5.)
(Wont be taking any more detectives who took the APTX 4869)
Friends- they are people who helps these high school detectives out. (For example: Ran, Sonoko, and Kazuha. They were like mini "helpers" to the detectives. These characters are needed. Doesnt matter about the number though. But I think maybe one or two per detectives.
Police- they will also help with some cases too.
FBI- they will help the detectives solve the mystery with the black organization. They detectives and the FBIs are the ONLY ones who know about these black organization.
Professor- someone who helps the detectives by making helpful items, etc.... (I will take... hmmm... 2.)

"Oh Ichiro, you're awake!" the professor said helping him with the glass.
"Heh... like anyone can sleep through all that noise.." he muttered. "Thanks.." Ichiro grabbed the cup and took a long drip. He could still remember what had happened to him that day...
~*~
Flash Back
"Practice is over!" the teacher called, blowing his whistle. Ichiro, who was not drenched with sweat, sat down on the bleachers. The sun was going down, and everyone was not starting to go home. Ichiro finished his bottle of water, laying down on the soccer field, staring up at the sky. It wasnt blue anymore, but more like yellow and red, mixed with orange. Little did he know, his eyes were starting to close.
The next thing he knew, when he woke up, the sky was dark. He sat up, bumping his head on the first bleacher. "Ow!" he yelled rubbing his head. Ichiro grabbed his bag, and started to head home. It was dark already, so he decided to take a short cut. He stopped, when he though he heard something. It was like a small muffling noise. Ever so slowly, he started to walk over. Two people, or maybe one.... he wasnt sure due to the darkness, was standing over a body. The person seemed to be calling for help, but all there was a mumble. Making sure he didnt make a sound, he hid, waiting for the two men to get going. Soon enough, they left, leaving the body there. Once they seemed to be gone, he ran over to the man.
"Are you ok sir? Damn I'll need to call the ambulance and the police." he said, though he sounded calm. Ichiro was pulling out his phone when the man stopped him. He tried saying something. A number he guessed. However, all he heard was a mumble before the man stopped breathing. Ichiro got up, running out of the dark alley. Then he felt something strick him at the back. With a thud, he fell to the ground. He could feel his body getting dragged back, and soon one of the guys seemed to be feeding him something. His body felt like it was burning, a pain he couldnt handle at that time. Ichiro thought he was dead, but he was wrong.
He woke up looking around. He looked down at his clothes, that seemed to be way too big on him. "I... uh... huh?" he said to himself outloud. Ichiro got up and stumbled out. He dragged his clothes along and finally made it to the professor's house. Professor seemed surprised to see a little kid, but he let him in. "What happened to you.. kid? Shouldnt you go home to your parents?" he asked. Ichiro sighed, "It's me Ichiro. I think.... I shrunk." he mumbled. Sure enough when he saw the mirror, he was a little kid.

Not too far away was a young girl around the age of seven who had woken up with the dawn. Her fiery red hair, which was bound up into a simple braid, followed her movements as she lunged towards the practice dummy, which actually was no dummy at all, at least in mentality. It was actually a robot of sorts, who knew her movements well, but even the robot had trouble deflecting her foil sword, not to mention her movements. "Point!" called her father who sounded slightly tired - but this was a routine he had suffered through ever since Lily was little. Not to mention when she shrunk and turned into the girl of seven in front of him from what used to be a very lovely seventeen year old who was going to finish high school shortly.
The sword tip pierced the robot's chest plate, the blade bent into a high arc, and Lily satisfactory put away her foil in the sheath she had ordered on her hip. Her sword at the moment was a little off balance, as it had belonged to a seventeen year old a few days ago and barely felt right in the hands of a child. Her newly ordered foil should be in the mail today, as a matter of fact, she thought and took a seat, draining the last reserves of her bottled water that her father had put out for her before he groaned that he was going back to bed. "Just don't -" he said, when he was interrupted by a yawn, "break this one - its my last one until I get back to work." he added before he disappeared.
The size of the bottle irritated Lily a little - it wasn't but a few days ago that she had held the same thing with a single hand. Now she had to carefully hold it with two, otherwise she would spill it on the floor. Her real life inspiration for wanting to become a detective came mostly from her mother, who had been the first female detective on the department and from the fictional but beloved Sherlock Holmes. Her own copy of the book 'The complete stories of Sherlock Holmes' which included all four novels and the fifty six short stories, were well worn from reading it over and over again. Her father was a doctor, but even so, could never stay away from his hobby of robotics technology. It had happened just a few days ago, though it seemed a lot longer than that.
Flashback
Lily Dawn Evans, seventeen years old and favorite for the recent tournament in foil fencing, left the gym late that night, wanting to work on the movements, to steady her footwork a bit before the big day. Lily was also a detective - a sort of junior detective at the moment, but as soon as she finished high school, she would be acceptd certainly into one of the departments perhaps before she could go to college. Oh yes, everything seemed to be looking up for the flaming red headed girl. It didn't matter that her zany ways didn't make her many friends, instead making her enemies, but what did she care? She was on top of the world, and she knew it!
Or, it seemed she was at least. But when she turned onto a corner on her way home, she witnessed two men, or at least appeared to be two men, standing over a body that had turned a pale blue from potassium poisoning, she knew she was in trouble. Before she could draw her foil, something slammed into the back of her head, making her world fill with agonizing pain as the green eyed detective slumped to the ground. She could still hear a little, but she couldn't move much, her movements very slow and very sloppy.
The man put down a two by four, throwing it to the ground with a clatter. "Should we use a bit of what we used on him?" asked one crook in black clothing - even had a black broad rimmed hat - and the other one, this one with long silver hair, shook his head. "Na, lets use what our wonderful organization sent us. I've heard this makes your bones feel like their melting or something." he muttered before popping one in the female detective's slacked mouth, forcing her to swallow it down with a vial of what she assumed was water. The two men stood, snickering at the bright haired young woman that lay next to the body on the ground. "Sweet dreams, detective girl." smirked one of them before they left, leaving her in agonizing pain as she could feel her bones begin to burn. . .
--------
A flashlight shone into two emerald eyes, pooled in pain as a hand reached up to rub the back of her head. The first thing she noted with a blink was that the school uniform that she was wearing seemed to be far too large for her - well, the sleeve was easily double the size it had been during practice! And something was paining her in her side - she looked in a start at her foil sword, which was huge in comparison! The rounded metal hand-guard had been digging into her side.
"Hey - hey kid! Are you hurt? You've got a nasty bump on the back of your head, and what happened to your clothes? Do you know anything about this body here? And what are you doing with a sword anyways - you a sword fighter or something?" asked one of the officers who enjoyed a laugh with the other officer there. So many questions. . . and so many without an answer! So she explained everything, but the officers didn't seem to be taking her seriously! And when one of them said that she would have to accompany them to the station, Lily ran, explaining that she had some homework to do. The officers attempted to catch her, but failed miserably, and reported in the body. (She had to hold her skirt tightly to her side so it wouldn't slip down too much.)
Lily arrived at her house, where her father sat outside worried. Lily's mother had given her life in an attempt to save a child, so she and her father lived alone in a nice little house. "Dad! Dad! Something happened!" complained Lily who quickly opened the locked gate the same way she normally did every day. Her father blinked at the small child who reminded him of his daughter. "What? Oh don't be silly child, I only have one little girl, and she's at least ten years older than you are. But you've got a nasty bump on your head, how did you get that?" he asked concerned. And then Lily smiled. There was one way to prove who she was, and her father would recognize her then.
She wagged a finger at him. "It is completely unimportant. That is why it is so interesting!" exclaimed Lily. "Besides, I know for a fact that you've been out to Yoshi's again." she explained. Yoshi and her father toyed around in the robotics science a bit with each other. Before her amazed father could speak, Lily went on, looking down at his feet first. "You have fresh oil stains on your shoes to begin with." she said before moving to his knees.
"Your pants here at the knees show a recent rip, done accidentally and even here some oil residue marks mar the fabric, though you've attempted to wash it. Furthermore, your hiding your hands in your pocket, which have the scent of being washed with an orange automotive cleaner to remove it. Am I getting warm?" she asked her astounded father. And yet again, before her father could speak, she pushed him inside and explained everything, showing him her sword, which she always carried with her. "Further proof." The two worked on a cover story, and decided to say that Lily had went to study abroad, while a relative of hers came to stay over at his house for unfortunate circumstances. She would be known henceforth as Lizzie Doyle, choosing the last name as her favorite detective writer.

Damn that man... I'll get you back.. Ichiro thought to himself. He turned to Jack and smiled, "Actually my name's Shiro Itsuki. Uh... Ichiro onii-san told me to tell you he wont be able to pick you up because an important case came up... I guess I forget... heh heh..." he said. He couldnt let his cousin know. It'll be too dangerous. Besides, he would only let professor know since he was the only one who can really help.
Whistling, he started to head over to the livingroom, and sat on the couch, turning on some kid show and acting like he was actually enjoying it.
I feel like a total idiot.. he thought to himself once more.

Of course I look like him... cause I am Ichiro! he yelled in his head.
"I heard my name." Professor said poking his head out of his lab. "Oh the rooms? You can have the one all the way to the right.. or left... whichever one you want." he said before getting back into his lab and closing the door shut.
"You heard him." Ichiro said with a shrug. He was thinking about how to keep his secret. He looked too much like himself... which wasnt a weird thing, but by the look of it, those guys dressed in black probably wanted to kill him. He needed to get something that helped him to look a bit different.

While she was unpacking her things, her mobile rang. Finding that the caller was her brother, she picked it up. "Yes, nii-chan?... Yeah, it's nice enough... I'm unpacking right now... No, no, I can do it by myself. You don't need to come... I'll be fine, okay?... We've talked about this before, nii-chan. Don't you trust me?... Okay, okay, I promise I'll call you immediately if something's happened. Happy now?... Bye, nii-chan, I love you too."
Mayu sighed as she closed the phone. She loved her family but sometimes they were just overprotective, especially her brothers. It was a good thing she managed to convince them to let her live alone. She had thought it was an impossible mission, but thanks to Grandpa, she was given permission to try to do it.
After she finished unpacking, she walked to the balcony and looked at the setting sun. Tomorrow she would be enrolling Teitan High School. She smiled as she thought about her going-to-be independent life and perhaps, she might find new friends and new puzzles to solve.

So she had searched all of her drawers and finally came up with a pair of reading glasses her aunt had accidently left behind the last time she had visited, and slipped them over her nose - and almost fell over! "These. . . things are so. . . strong!" she complained before sliding them almost to the end of her nose, like a librarian's glasses. Her former self had never worn glasses, and these would work to conceal her owlish large green eyes, and at the same time reading glasses had a lense for magnifying things.
She did have to worry about one thing though - school. It was starting tomorrow, and she now looked like a freaking kindergartener! "Well, maybe a second grader." she muttered, going to look in a mirror at herself. She had to do this frequently to remind herself of her situation. After all, a few days ago she could easily reach the top cabinet, today she was having trouble even reaching the sink!
That had to change soon - maybe she could buy some platform sandals or flipflops, or something that could make her at least a little taller. She had to decide, and soon, whether she wanted to attend elementary or high school - high school would mean she'd have to pass the entrance test and be a little prodigy. She sort of liked the idea, but also didn't want to draw too much attention towards herself. So she had to make herself look vastly different from her old persona.
In the spare bedroom (she did seem to have a few in her house and for good reason as she had family visit often) she found a few pairs of her cousin's shoes - her cousin was irritating, but she did find a nice sundress, and a pair of black flats that only had a few scuff marks on them. And, she smiled when she saw it, a blue choker that matched the sundress. And, a lovely straw hat. It was very cute, and Lily grabbed it, putting it on her head, her fiery hair spilling out underneath it.
Going to her room (and how surprising it was to see everything on a smaller scale!) she slipped her Mini-Mouse watch on - it nearly matched the color of the scarf she now wore with the sundress and flats - and grabbed her purse, which seemed unusually heavy. Hm, this wouldn't do, she thought and dumped everything out on her (overly large now) bed and sifted through the items. Keeping the thin but strong piano strings, a small kit of plastering mold stuff, a fingerprint dusting kit and a tube of her favorite pink lipstick, she sorted through her small purses until she found one that matched her little outfit, and headed out the door towards the one place that all good detectives got information - Greg's Pub.

When he got to the house, he had to grab a broom to ring the door bell. Curse these short legs... he thought to himself. Still the someone opened the door and looked down at him. "Uh... who are you boy?" a lady asked. She had brown long hair and dark brown eyes. "Well uh.... you see. Ichiro nii-san told me to come and listen to the case for him. He's kind of busy right now so he couldnt make it... Is that ok?" he asked. The girl blinked but soon nodded, "Yeah sure.. boy you're name is?" she asked. "Ich-- I mean Shiro.." he answered with a nervous laugh. "Well nice to meet you young detective Shiro, I'm Miyuki." she said with a small smile. "Take a seat." she said.
Ichiro made himself over to the large couch and sat down. Miyuki soon came back with some crackers and juice.

The smoke almost choked her as soon as she opened the door, and she wiped away the tears that came to her eyes from the intensity of the booze and cigar smoke. Geez, had it gotten stronger since she'd been in here? Well, it had been a little while, she supposed, and as a non-smoker, this place was hazardous for her health. But so was what she did for a living. Being a detective didn't exactly shout out a life of longevity, after all, but she loved what she did, and would probably do it for the remainder of her life. Not to mention she was pretty darned good at detective work and solving puzzles.
She saw that Greg was wearing his standard outfit of a suit complete with a tie, and looked sharp. The 'mafia' outfit suited him to a t. Some people were afraid of the man, but Lily had always thought of him as an older lion who was still in his prime. Probably even more so than he was when he was younger. The pub was his jungle, and the wrong doers were his prey. He was a heck of an informant, and helped most of the detectives around. Not to mention he'd solved a LOT of cases, probably as many as a retired P.I.'s.
She just hoped that she was disguised enough that he wouldn't realize that she looked precisely like the seventeen year old Lily Evans, only smaller, and much, much younger. She normally just wore her uniform everywhere, or maybe jeans on the weekends with a tee shirt and flip flops - rarely ever a dress. Not because she hated dresses, in fact, she liked them - it was only her usual activities that kept her from wearing them often. But she supposed that could be part of her new 'Lizzie Wardrobe'. Maybe she could get some contacts or something to separate that feature from her old self as well. She gave Greg a bright smile before coming over and plopping into a barstool, the one closest to the middle on the right, her old spot. "Hello." she greeted the older - much older than she was now - man in the suit. "Do you have any juice?" she asked while trying to come up with a way to strike up the conversation about any cases.

After a while they made it to some house. "What the? Why is this kid going in some adults house? Stranger danger!" He whisper yelled and ducked behind a car. "Wait if I go in to soon and find that it was just one kid going to play with another, I look like an idiot. On the other hand if I go in to late, that kid might get molested. Quite the conundrum." Jack said with a little sigh and looked back at the house. "Well this is going to be difficult, he said and pointed his weapon at the house and put a radio receiver in the firing tube. He pulled the trigger and silently the receiver was fired on the porch. "Well nice to meet you young detective Shiro, I'm Miyuki." He heard and pulled the receiver back towards the car. "Aw the kid is playing detective, that's so cute." He whispered and watched the kid threw the window.

"Well actually, the case really doesnt involve me personally. It has something to do with my friend you see. She lives pretty far from here and didnt know how to contact her. Ichiro actually is famous around here and well he also solved a case for my father. I sent a letter to him for my friend." the lady said taking a seat. "My friends having trouble with some stalker issue or something. She said she heard weird tapping noises on her window every night, and she sometimes sees a shadow following her."
Ichiro nodded. "May I have her address? I'll need to go over and get more details." he said getting ready to write down the information. Miyuki looked at him weird for a second. "I-I mean I need to give the address to Ichiro nii-san." he said quickly rubbing the back of his neck. She told him the address and her number just in case. "Thank you." Ichiro said jumping off the couch. He walked out of the house and sighed. "Ah... this is so hard..." he mumbled walking down the steps. He stopped when he noticed the grass had be stepped on. Quietly, he followed the tracks until he saw Jack by the window. "What... are you doing?" he asked staring at his cousin.

When she got out of the supermarket, she saw a car parking near her. A kid, a cute kid that looked like around 7-years-old, and an older man that looked perverted came out of the car. There was something strange in the picture in Mayu's eyes as she saw that it seemed like the kid was directing the man. Mayu smiled. When there was something out of normalcy, it meant that there was a puzzle to be solved.
"It's puzzling, but I like it." Mayu said to herself and decided to keep a close eye on the pair. She had found a puzzle.

She was moderately surprised when he took such a long drag off of his cigarette, finishing off from the moment he lit it. "Trust me, I will never smoke." she said with a smile. "An older friend?" she asked when he asked her if she had a parent or an older friend around there. "Yeah, my dad's at work though, and I don't have any friends at the moment that's nearby." she mentioned, taking a sip of her orange juice. It was a bit bitter, but she didn't make a face. 'Of course not, all of my friends are in high school, and wouldn't recognize me now as a little girl. she thought, setting her juice on the bar.

Greg didn't seem to notice the little slip-up, Lizzie saw and was glad. She had to stop being so familiar, but how could she? This place was so familiar to her that she couldn't help but become a little relaxed. She gave him a smile when he said that he could help and pulled out what looked like a laptop, but wasn't, and explained that it was experimental. "Neat." she said brightly, and saw him flip it open. She heard a slight hum as his fingers started dashing over the keys. She waited as he researched the names. "Wow, really?" she asked, surprised to hear that he had managed to hack a goverment database. That was impressive, she thought.
He declared it as a goldmine for criminal records, and Lizzie had no doubt. After all, all of the old and new cases were probably in the computer systems across the world. A few moments later, he called a 'ha!' in victory as a beep sounded from the computer. "Alchohol names. . ." she pondered for a few seconds before she snapped her fingers. "Like Tequila. . ." she said quietly, mostly to herself, but Greg could have heard it. And he had mentioned that they wore pitch black clothing like his. except he thought of himself as a charcoal gray. And when he said that there was a list of victims, she nearly jumped. "Really?!" she said and bounced up to sit on her knees. Dang it, she hated being so short! She still couldn't see the computer!
Greg stopped talking for a few moments before his face grew concerned. Lizzie couldn't help but reveal a little smile. Perhaps he was a bit closer to the red head than she had thought. Her thoughts were interrupted when he slammed the laptop shut, causing her to jump a bit. And then he confronted her about her older self working on a case, saying that she was gone, mia, poof!
'Only for the moment - I'll return as soon as I can find those creeps.' she thought determined. "Wait, that can't be. . . your computer must be wrong. . . Lily said that she was going to. . . uh. . . Osaka." she thought up quickly. She swallowed - would her cover be blown so quickly? When she went to adjust the reading glasses that was resting on the bridge of her nose, she accidently knocked them off, revealing her owlishly large green eyes fully to him. The glasses scattered to the bar with a clatter. . .

Crap! He had figured it out! Her cover was blown sky high! She was still too much like Lily. . . according to what Greg had just said, she still looked like Lily, talked like her old self, and moved like Lil. And, she had forgotten not to sit in that particular place! She snorted when he asked if he was high and ended up going down below his bar, probably having drank too much liquor before opening today. At that, she started laughing so much that she fell backwards in her barstool, bumping her head smartly on the back of it.
"Oww, ha ha ha." she said, wiping away tears of laughter as he stood up and told her that him falling had never happened. But when he started to rant at her, she sobered quickly. "Yeah, I suspected that my cover would be blown - your too quick not to realize who I was, but I had to disguise myself somehow." she explained. "Here's the truth of the matter. I had just gotten done with my fencing practice for the day and had stayed a little longer than I should have I suppose and while I was on my way home, I came across these two men in black like you described standing over a body. By the faint smell of almond, I knew that they had poisoned the person with potasium cyanide. Anyways, as I was about to take them out with my foil, one of the men whacked me over the head with something - probably a board, if I remember right, it might have been a two by four plank." she explained.
"I heard a 'thunk' as something was put down and then the two discussed on either poisoning me with cyanide or with something from their organization had sent them. The man described it as 'makes your bones feel like their melting or something. The only thing I noticed about him was that he had strangely colored long silver hair. Anyways, he put something in my mouth and made me swallow it before he said 'Sweet dreams detective girl' and the feeling of my bones melting - I guess he was right. Next thing I know, a cop is shining a flashlight in my eyes and my foil was digging into my side. The medicine made me shrink." she finished and looked at him. "I know it sounds unbelievable, but," she said, picking up her glasses and sliding them back on, a little more up her nose, "its the truth."

Re: [OOC] Detective Conan: Case Still On!
& as for our intro, you can start any way you want. for the detectives though, make sure you explain how you shrunk to be the "little" dective. something like a flash back.. etc..
and we could get cases from the real show (;
Re: [OOC] Detective Conan: Case Still On!
Or first we could do the endings on the cases that our individual people are doing, and then describe how they got poisoned/etc with the medicine and shrink.
