Versai looked up into the orange sky of Venus. He scratched his head and sighed. It was time for him to go get his crew.
Versai had put an add out for one a couple weeks ago. Some replied, and those who did are suppose to meet him at the Carnes Tower in Mendar at exactly 3 o'clock. The time now was 2:58. He has 2 minutes until he had to face these unknown people. At least, he hoped they were humans. Versai stepped on the hover-floor and zoomed up to the 10th floor room 316. He opened the door with his card key, and stepped inside.

It was a nice room. Sort of small, but it had what he needed. A long steel table sat in the middle of it with multicolored hover cushions floating all around it. In the left corner was a desk with a computer screen, and the right a food cabinet. This room was perfect for a meeting such as this. Versai sat at the head of the table on on of the cushions. He loved those cushions very much and was glad this room had them. He pressed a button on his remote and the lights blared on. The room had wooden floors and glass walls. It was nice, but at this time of day the night had taken over, so they could see the stars.

It time became 2:59. Versai had 1 minute. He has 1 minute until his life changed for good.

2:59. The time was seconds away from turning to 3 o'clock. Hermes took the end of her whip and whammed it against the door 5 times. She had been itching for a fight, so she hoped this ended badly. Meaning the Vermist showed up. Hermes had a thing against the Vermist though, so she was excited to start a project that might end in destroying the Vermist. Anything she can do to help she will. Thus leading her to being the leader of this group, but Versai didn't know this yet.

Versai winced at each loud bang across the door. He stood, straightened his labcoat, and walked to the door. Versai sighed. Here we go...
Versai placed his hand on the scanner and the door burst open to Hermes, a tall big breasted girl with long violet hair. She was dressed in all leather that clung to her body so tightly that it was hard to imagine her not suffocating in the clothes. She seemed angry, but happy in the clothes she was wearing. In her hand was a whip to match her outfit.

Hermes pushed Versai aside and stormed into the room. She looked around and sat at the head of the table. In Versai's seat. Hermes typed in a code on the touch screen on top of the table. A wall clamped down across the glass, closing in the room making it darker than it was.

"What are you doing?" Versai murmured.
"Huh? Stop mumbling kid, I can't hear you."
"Hermes stop this, its me, can't you recognize me?"
"Me who?"
"Me Versai."
"Holy shit! Been years how you doing?"
Versai blinked at Hermes rubbed his temple and then spoke, "Hermes... you answered to my add... respond."

Candy walked up to the door not much later after Hermes pushed her way through. She knocked on the door three times, leaning against the wall outside while she waited for someone to answer. 'I really hope this job pays well...' she though idly as she waited, 'I really need the cash.

Versai jumped with anxiety as he turned to the door. The next one was here. Which one would it be?
"I'll get it!" Hermes jumped in front of Versai and placed her hand on the scanner, in which it rejected her.
"Hey! What's up with that?"
Versai shook his head and pressed a button.
"Try again."
She did. The scanner murmured and took in her signature. Finally the door opened to reveille the next answer to the ad.
"Sweet" Hermes dragged out the "e" in the word, Versai would never understand Hermes way of thinking.

Candy looked at the girl in all leather and raised an eyebrow curiously. "Interesting choice of outfit..." She muttered quietly to herself. She let herself into the room, looking around mildly interested as to what was inside. Her eyes landed on Versai, a geek in lab coat with glasses and messy hair. She looked him up and down and then crossed her arms in front of her chest. "So I take you're the one who put up the add." She glanced over at Hermes, "She seems like she can handle herself fine." She looked back at Versai, "You on the other hand..." she smiled as she sat down on one of the cushions, propping her feet up on the table lazily as she blew a bubble with her gum. "You looking for a techie or a demolitions expert? You've got both right here." She motioned to herself with her mechanical hand.

Maynard knocked several times on the door, having just gotten off from a show, he still had traces of his stage makeup on, and there were still white streaks in his hair here and there. His facial hair needed a trim here and there, but he didn't care, he was here to respond to something that might pay well enough for him to finance his own records, allowing him to say more of what he wanted and reach a wider audience, maybe he could get somewhere with this after all. He hoped his services would be in order, he was an okay fighter and his multitool weapon was rather interesting to have around in combat. As well as the various explosives he had built/purchased/stolen. No one really needed to know about those though, as he zipped his bag and toolkit shut, if a little hastily. He brushed his hair out of his face, tied it back, and tapped his foot, waiting for someone to answer the door. His patience was already wearing a little short.

A tri-colored wolf was sleeping until she heard humans pounding on doors and dropping things.
"Shut up will you," she growled at the empty room surrounding her.
She had been alone for years. Kamalia Mingan was a loner werewolf and didn't like being human. In order to live, she had to go out in public as a human. Her golden-brown eyes trailed to where her digital clock was.
"11 o'clock," she yawned, "Already? I just fell asleep. This is the last time I am going out hunting late at night."
Kamalia had always said that after a night's hunt, but she never followed through with it.
"Might as well head out to this meeting," she said as she changed from wolf to human.
Her human life was boring. She hadn't told anyone of her abilities or much of her past. Kamalia left her life as boring as possible, but in retrospect it wasn't the least bit boring.

Versai looked Candy up and down, and nodded. She seemed perfect for the job.
There were knocks at the door.
"I should get that." He tried to make his way past Hermes, but she was being stubborn.
"No! I want to try the hand scanner again." She placed one hand on Versai's head to keep him from moving, and another tried to reach for the scanner. She wasn't close enough. Versai struggled forward, released it wasn't working, and tried a different tactic. He kicked her in the shin. She blocked and kicked right back. Now doubled over in pain, Versai was on the floor and Hermes had finally placed her hand on the scanner.
