Personality

Sullen, introverted, passive aggressive, territorial, explosive when angered, plotting, cold, calculating, vengeful. He has a personality like a hand grenade, in the right hands, he's good to have around, in the wrong, he's a violent, destructive mess. He keeps alone and writes his lyrics, draws in his free time. He's a bitter, disillusioned soul, pushed out by others, doesn't really get along with much of anybody, except a choice few. Short tempered and gifted with an excellent memory. Violently loyal and protective of the few he does care about, but really hard to approach. Again, similar to an armed hand grenade.

On stage he is a loud, eccentric, passionate presence, communicating all of the frustration he sees in a world where no one bothers to do anything for anyone without getting something in return. Known for his wild stage shows, his band is comprised of himself and similarly visioned individuals, of which he is undoubtedly the leader. He goes from shrill screaming, to heavy growling, to deathly calm whispers, to clean, passionate singing in the course of a single song, encompassing his thoughts and feelings as two sides of the same coin.

Equipment

Several kinds of improvised and military grade explosives of various kinds, a multitool that has power hammer, laser cutter, welder, and wrench and screwdriver capabilities, also doubles as a convenient flash drive ^^ several notebooks full of lyrics, sketches and schematics, mostly mixed together in the same books carried in a messenger bag, a simple blue and black one that matches his outfit. A broken ipod with a cracked screen that he found from a couple of hundred years ago. Has a full playlist of metal, but the screen only allows it to display bits and pieces, meaning his favorite bands are Aperle, ol, cier, marson and laod. (A perfect circle, tool, puscifer, marilyn manson, and lamb of god, shown on a cracked screen.)

History

Grew up relatively normally, if somewhat introverted. Had uncaring parents, but they were not hateful towards him, merely distant. His father was an absolute authority figure, whom Maynard rebelled against by learning his music and his technical interests. His father wanted him to join the military and his mother wanted him to be a social worker like herself. He refused either, sketching out elaborate compositions for what he though would represent his music. Learned guitar and singing from online research and dedicated, late night practice. Used it to write out his views on the world, writing intricate lines and veiled metaphors all over page after page of composition books. When he got old enough, he moved out and wandered here and there. Signed into a record deal with a little known label, imperfect cylinder records, got relatively famous locally and now performs nightly at local gigs, trying to motivate the people around town to get up and do something for someone else, as well as the results of the modern afflictions resulting from apathy. Not a whole lot is known about him by much of anybody, he doesn't really get close to people.
