Elliot hadent heard the voice of a human in a while, it was nice to hear one again. He closed his eye's listening to the calming voice of the female until she stopped talking snapping Elliot out of his trance.
This could be a trap. A way to lure me in and kill me. Elliot though digging his finger nails into the handle of his axe he had found in his garage before he had run. What if it wasent though what if he would have a better chance if he went there..to her.
Elliot let out an aggravated sigh resting his elbows on his knee's then placing his head in his hands. Everything was so complicated now. Elliot allowed his mind to wander about his life before the out break.
He could almost feel the warm soft skin of his little sister. He could almost smell the sweet perfume of his step mother. The moaning of a zombie woke Elliot from his memories. Elliot got up from the floor cautiously he peeked out of the peek hole of the door in the abounded apartment room he was in.
Elliot grimaced seeing a few zombies aimlessly bumping into each other outside his door. They had slowly been coming to the door of his room. He backed away picking up his back that held a few canned food jars and one canteen of water.
"It's time to move on anyway, might as well go I'm probably going to die eventually whats the worse that can happen?" Elliot muttered tucking the axe securely in his belt and shoving the walkey talkey in his bag.
He opened the window jumping on the huge black metal bridge that ran along the outside of the building. He quietly climbed down doing the best he could to avoid zombies.
In coincidence he knew where the jail was, he had passed it once when he had first been looking for a place to settle down.
He slowed as he reached the prison making sure to stay in the shadows, just in case. Elliot accessed the situation seeing a girl with her eyes closed by a tree and a dog by her side. He didnt want to startle her by waking her up, or startle the dog making him bark attracting zombies, but what else could he do.
Elliot exhaled slowly he put his hand up showing he didnt intend to hurt her. He looked around the perimeter finding a way out just in case this all went to hell.
"Hello?" He called softly.
I was walking through the woods when I heard a radio. There was a girl talking on it. I walked towards it, and found a zombie walking around an old building. I walked over and beat him with my gun, until his head came off. I watched cautiously, for any others, and walked into the building. I listened to her talk, in a dream like state. I felt the need to help her, to save her. Then the thoughts, of finally getting in bed with a woman again, floated through my head. I laughed at it and headed out, seeing a sign earlyer for a prison. I thought that it would be a good idea to try there anyway. So I set out on my journey. When I got closer I heard a voice. It was a simple hello but I heard it. I silently walked closer, and saw two people. I moved up into a tree and watched. I didn't know what was happening, so I just decided to watch.
Delia
I felt Duke, my puppy, tense up. His head moved up and a light growl came from his throat. I instantly jumped up and pulled out my samurai swords. THen I saw the boy, standing by the fence. I realized he was human and alive. I ran over to the fence and releif flooded me. "Someone came! Someone Hear me!" I did a little dance hten came to my senses. "Go over to the gate, I will let you inside." I ran over to gate and went inside the small building. I imediatly hit the button, I found out was open and close. Then I ran out to it and watched it open.
She made her way through countless hordes, but only barely escaping several of them. Having slain so many, including her own family, Rosie needed to find another safe place. Of all the places that were considered safe, the prison, where her late older brother frequently visited, was the safest place. 'I have to go there. It's the only safe place left...'
Rosie held tightly onto her iron bat, and clutched the machete that was strapped onto her belt. She looked around the crowdless boulevard and listened to the moans of the mindless zombies that wandered around. 'So gross...' She slipped into a nearby alley and continued walking towards the direction of the prison. 'Why can't I be safe anymore...'
She tossed the radio to Maya as they walked through the forest cautiously. While Maya was watching out for zombies, now and then clutching nervously at the strap that held her machine gun on her back, Lena had heard a girl talking about feeling lonely. Now they were heading to the prison nearby where the girl claimed to be. Maya caught the radio and put it in her shoulder bag. She then resumed the clutching at the strap.
"Calm down, if somethings coming, we'll hear it. And besides, they usually stay near places that used to be cities," Lena told her bitterly. She didn't like this whole prison thing. There was no reason for someone to lie about being there, but who knows. There was no reason for zombies to suddenly just show up and that happened. Lena absently tapped at the pistol at her hip. "And it's not like you're alone."
Maya didn't say anything, which she found is usually the way Lena liked it. But Maya hated the quiet, she hated being worried that her voice would break the silence that was desired by everyone but her. Like being the last one up at night, fearing youre bound to wake someone up. This was probably why Maya enjoyed music so much, it could be as loud as she wanted. Concerts made her feel free to scream as loud as she wanted, and no one would even flinch, because they were all screaming along with her. Following her, rather than her current situation: following.
She was nervous about going to the prison, and she didn't know exactly why. She loved human interaction, and she doesn't get much of that these days, but deep down, Maya knew why. Lena was nervous, her energy was often transferred to Maya, usually dark energy, which was why Maya often skulked away, like a dog with her tail between her legs. Once this thought occurred to her, her heart instantly started racing. Her head shot up, and she looked around her, then down by her side and relief coursed through her, faster that her panic had started. Zahra, her dog, was still by her side, alert for anything that could harm Maya. Since Zahra was her only 'family' left, she hated for Zahra to be anywhere else but by her side, keeping her safe, so she often had these panics when she pictured her beautiful Australian Shepherd gone.
With Lena temporarily out of her mind, she became more and more anxious to get to the prison, to meet this girl. Maybe she was being to quick to judge, but now that Maya had a chance to think for herself for once, she felt that this girl on the radio, was someone she could trust.
"Hey, what are you doing, slow down. Don't be so anxious to get there, you don't even know if she can be trusted yet. Calm and steady wins the race." Lena's mocking, bitter tone said. Maya wanted to tell her to shut up. Why talk if all you're going to is stop me from thinking for myself, and fill my mind with negative, mind-eating thoughts? But of course, she didn't. All she did, was slow her walking, and slowly clutch her straps. Reminding herself that Lena will improve here chances of survival in this suddenly zombie infested world. She clutched the straps tighter.
Letting her eyes look back over to Maya, she saw the girl was once again clutching the strap. She sighed. "For the last time, stop that. It's annoying. Your making ME nervous, and that's not something I want," Lena muttered, sticking her hands in her pockets. Continuing to walk for awhile, Lena suddenly smiled and stopped.
"Hey, Maya, it's the prison. Who knew going to prison could be a good thing." It wasn't really a question, but she heard Maya hum in agreement beside her. After getting closer, Lena saw that they weren't the only ones who got the message. It appeared others had beat them here first, but that strangely made Lena satisfied. Now she knew that it wasn't a trap, at least. Putting on a smug grin, Lena stepped to the side and motioned Maya forward. "Youngest first, eh?"

Elliot stayed quiet looking at the girl and her dog. I'll wait until she speaks Elliot thought slowly making his way to the girl.
Elliot looked over his shoulder seeing two girls and another dog.
He shook his head, good thing I'm not allergic to them, he chuckled before snapping back into reality.
With that Lena walked closer to the prison, for once actually curious. Looking over at the boy, she gave a slight nod and then looked at the gates. Was she just allowed to.. walk in? This was weird, but the place seemed to lack any of the undead, so Maya would like it here. Maybe she'd finally stop that nervous habit.
Lena paused from her thoughts, looking back at Maya. "Or maybe I won't have to deal with her at all anymore.." she muttered under her breath, to quiet for anyone to here. Slowly, she walked through the gate, ready to grab her gun if she needed to. Hopefully she wouldn't need to. It was bad enough killing the undead, she didn't want to kill unaffected people too.
I watched as a couple of girls walked in the gates, after the guy. Deciding it was worth a shot, I jumped down from the tree and strode through the gates. When I got to the boy I stopped and turned to him. "You should really pay more attention to your surroundings. I could have killed you five minutes ago." Then I walked farther in, walking past three girls. One had opened the gate, the other two had just joined. I took my time in inspecting them and liked what I saw. "At lease their hot." I mumbled to myself. Then I chuckled, usually I would have gotten a slap to the back of the head for being to sexest. Then I walked over to oneof the girls that had just walked in the gates. She seemed confident and strong, just like I liked them. "Hello, I am Zach Tandervike. Nice to meet you." I stuck out my hand for her to shake.
Delia
Shortly after the boy walked in, two girls walked in as well. Then another boy walked in, I saw his eyes wandered over our bodies and felt uncomftorbal. I hoped that he wouldnt try anything, I wasnt that type of girl. Then a smile broke over my face as I realized what had happened. "Wow, you guys found me. This is so cool." I had already looked around for anymore and closed the gate. Once firmly shut, I walked over to them and my smile got bigger. "There is hope." I mumbled to myself. Then I tried to get their attention. "Would you guys like to go inside, and see the cells. This isn't really my place, so it sounds weird saying that. Like I am giving you permission. Anyway, I dont want to be any sort of leader, so if you want one choose someone else." I was hesitant but even I hinted at something in my voice that said 'I may be timid but I can kick some ass, so dont mess with me.' "I am going inside. Come on Duke." I called for him and walked into one of the buildings, heading for my 'room.'

"You should really pay more attention to your surroundings. I could have killed you five minutes ago." Elliot jumped slightly at the male's voice.
Elliot shrugged, but said nothing he wasent the type to get in arguments or fights...especially at the end of the world. They had enough trouble with the flesh eaters themselves.
Elliot had seen the guy, but decided to leave him be. Why compromise someone's position, if he decide to kill him it would be better than dying by one of those flesh eaters.
Elliot followed quietly behind the group of people. As they made their way to where Elliot guessed they would be staying the other girl with a dog found a cell and began playing music.
Elliot shook his head, she was probably going to get them killed with being so loud. He didnt want to cause a fight so he waited until the girl fell asleep which she did pretty quicky, before turning the music off.
Elliot found a cell himself right next to the girl who had been playing music, he set his few belongings before clearing his throat and saying quickly "What's your names. I'm Elliot."
She looked at the boy who had woken her up. "What's your name? I'm Elliot." He had said.
"Hi Elliot. I'm Maya, and this is my dog Zahra," she said, partially creeped out, but also slightly intrigued, "I hope you don't mind my asking, but, what the hell are you doing?"
I put my hands up when the girl put a gun up to my head. When she pulled it away, I immediately pulled mine out. She was already walking away so I shot her in the left shoulder. "Remember, little girl, if you are going threaten someone: dont put your gun away and turn your back to them, because some people wont let you have your life. By doing that, you are a threat." I walked past her and into one of the buildings away from the one that everyone had just gone into. I was happy to be away from them. I wanted a team, but I didn't want a bunch of winey wannabe killers around all the time.
