Breathing. It is all one can do in crio sleep. And dreaming but that is different. But the breathing is what woke me on the arrival.
I press the button on my panel and fall out. Spitting or hacking out the liquid i stood up and looked out the window to see where this whole mess began. Growing up on earth was hard enough. I forgot to say this but I am a spartan. Looking out the window again I saw it. Planet reach. This is were noble team had fallen and were we gained our advantage in the war. And we were finally at a point to were we could retake reach. The ship I was on name the Mercy Mother was part of a 3 ship convoy to retake reach. There was two others. The Harvest and Market bird. Walking to my station and watching all this taking place gave me time to think. Retaking this planet wasn't going to be easy but it was something we were determined to do. "All hands to stations launch imminent." The Ai system said over the inter calm. I grabbed my weapons and started moving towards my shuttle. I was dropping with and ODST unit onto a beach head in New Alexandrea. Taking it with the covenant control on it would not be easy. But i was sure i could do it. Sitting in my pod they banged on each on to see if we were ready. we would bang back in reply if we were. We were already told about out task so when the count down began I held my breath. "Hear we go." I said softly. And then before any of us could blink we launched.

Gregory aboard the Mercy he was getting nervous. He entered the ship with his team ready for any thing that might happen. "Relax rookie. The pilot is seasoned." The squad leader said. He just sat down and looked and readied himself. "Just relax we can win." He said to himself. This was a fight that would make or break the war and he was ready for it. "All ships prepare for launch." The AI system said. And Gregory pulled the bar down and waited for take off.

Hearing one of the marines in the back call me seasoned, I jumped at the opertunity and jumped on the Mic "I'd prefer you use a Less Subtle Phrase, Like The Craziest Godamn Pilot On the Mercy, Thank you very much!" The Co-Pilot and I Laughed Our Asses Off As we Went Over Average Systems Tests. "Everything's Green" My co-pilot said to me. "now Remember Greenhorn, Hold On!" I switched the thrusters On and Detactached the Hanger Clutches Sending us Flying twords Reach, My mission, To Deliver A Scorpion And Reinforcements To Spartan 227 And ODST Squad 543.

A while after landing Hector checked his surroundings and heard gun fire every were. When he got out he saw that 4 others were dead in front of him. which ment the team of 32 was cut down to 28 or worse. He ran in the direction of the gunfire.

Death and blood is the descriptive words here. The scene was something out of a horror film. Those in it are the actor or characters. Fighting with the ODST unit was not what every one thought it to be. These boys fight with every ounce of strength they have. Landing on the beach right off really wasn't a good idea. About half the team was scattered and the other dead or at the primary point fighting. Apparently the covenant never got the message that the elites were no longer on their side. That was who we are fighting to gain a foot in this one. The anti air guns were pounding the skies to keep air ships at bay. Those guns were the first target but being what I was I had to request for early support which wasn't a good idea. "227 We got hunters coming from the left." and ODST said. And since those took a while to take down I rushed in on it. Gabbing a grenade of my belt I slammed it into the monsters side and took cover behind a conkrit pole. I turned to face the enemy force and aimed threw my DMR scope. Taking a Breath I fired at the enemy thinking that the ships needed to hurry. The others climbed slowly up considering how many we had. Just then I see three Pelicans in route. But two were shot out of the sky and the third crash landed on the ground. "You three come on. We need to check for any surviving crew." I said. And we charged into the onslaught straight for the ship. As we ran up I aw 4 people come out to fight. Before we could get their and elite team stopped use before entry.

"Fuck! the door wont open!" I kicked at the door with all my strength. My co-pilot had a long piece of glass lunged into his head through his visor...It was bloody, I could of sworn he was decapitaded, there was still blood leaking onto the floor, it was all over the cockpit, blood blood and more blood. I Heard the surviving marines Covering the pelican from the back door, I was pretty sure the scorpion wasn't in working condition anymore. "someone! in here!" I shouted while reapeadently kicking at the door. I sat and rested. It was clear that until someone opened that door, I was stuck...

"Hold here I'm heading towards the pelican." I said moving to the downed pelican. The surviving marines saw me coming and gave me cover. The distance was short but it still took a while to get their because of the fire. I made a B-line for the ship and jumped dodging a plasma at my feet. "Some day hey spartan." The leader said. "I'd say. Is this all thats left." I said. "No I am pretty sure I heard banging on the door." He said. "Can you spare a man I'll go in and try to open it." I said. "Gregory go with the spartan and open the door for the pilot." The leader said. He followed me in and as we got their a shot came from the opening up top. "Stand back." I said. I popped a pin and tossed a grenade. We then both moved to the door. Looking at it I saw that the locking system was jammed keeping it closed. "I hate when this happens." I said. I kicked it lose then opening it. I hoped to see both alive but that wasn't the case. I looked at the live one. "Looks light you had a rough flight." I said.

"you have no fucking idea...Jonatham...he's dead" I said looking at her, then looking back at the Spartan "your 227, right?"

"Yes now lets go we don't have to long before this spot is over run with those covenant Bastards." opening the door big enough for the pilot to get out.

I Ran out and kept my sidearm in hand, even though I knew it wasn't really going to help. "lead the way"

"You'll need a better weapon." I said. So I threw the pilot my DMR and used my assault Rifle instead. When we exited the plane the remaining men were already down. "Were going to have to fight our way threw. So I hope your ready." I said. I jumped up and started shooting to provide cover so the two could go.

"This is 227 we need an immediate evac for the beach head. ODST team down to 12 repeat evac requested." I said. The pilot was half way back and I started running with Gregory behind me ready to board. This wasn't going to be easy to pull off considering the air guns in place. As soon as we arrive we saw the ships picking up the team. "Double time it." I said. The pilot got their fast and me and Gregory a few seconds behind. "I hope the other sites had a better landing." Gregory said sitting down. I just looked at the beach. "One thing is for sure. We are going to need a hell of a team to pull this off again." I said with the thought in mind.

I Panted Heavily "Ah, Ah fucking Hell..." I sat down in one of the seats and set the DMR On the chair next to me then removed my helmet.

"This is just the beginning it's going to get worse." I said as I sat down. "a whole lot worse." I thought silently.
