Story

Balance is the key. For there to be peace the universe must ever maintain a critical balance of both Light, and Darkness. When darkness grows to prevalent, too out of control and threatens to consume all in it's path, denizens of light are chosen in the form of keyblade wielders; warriors tasked with the mission of staving off the rampant darkness and restoring balance, therefore peace. The critical balance of Light and Dark has been challenged multiple times by beings of darkness, each with their own personal agenda that would lead to the universes eventual destruction at the hands of Darkness, and each time keyblade wielder Sora has risen to meet theses challenges and with the help of his closest friends, and many allies along the way he conquered the darkness each time. Maintaining the balance.

That was a long time ago. Generations have come and gone during centuries of peace and the tales of the hero Sora, magic, and the existence of the keyblade are considered nothing more than legends. However at the passing of third century of peace, the balance is threatened once again. Only this time it is the light that threatens to consume the world. Beings of incredible magical power who call themselves " Angels " have popped up and taken uncontested control of many worlds. With no other magical beings alive to fend them off, no military or militia forces stood a chance against them. After 45 long years of oppression this story follows the journey of 3 young cadets armed with weapons developed to neutralize all forms of magic creatures spawned by the Angels. The technology was developed by a group hell bent on the destruction of Angels. They call themselves the Anti-Angel Guild; Though lacking in creativity the name is appropriate. It started off as a small rebellion backed by brilliant minds of Inverse Town and has grown into an organized revolution that has spread to many worlds now armed with the same weapons.

So far the revolution has been a shaky one, filled with uncertainty. Though the weapons are advanced, so far no one has been able to actually effectively kill an Angel, some brave men, now dead, have managed to seriously injure a few in combat but that is all. With the Angels still alive they generate waves of new minions for every one killed, because of this many have lost hope and the tide of war ever progresses in favor of the Angels. Until now. The universe is dangerous to an imbalance that threatens to destroy everything, so a new keyblade wielder has been chosen. One armed with the powers of Darkness. Only, will his friends and the rest of the Anti-Angel guild accept the help of another magic user? Especially one armed with radically new powers they have no knowledge of?

They will obviously have to go to other worlds, theses characters are just for the first part of the rp, so if you want to be apart of this rp but current rolls are all full, don't give up. Stay active in the OOC, keep up with the story, and new spots will open in no time

Bestiary

Arch Angels: The highest form of the Angel species. They are for the most part completely humanoid aside from the wings protruding from the back of their necks. Their powers are not all equal; Arch Angels with the greatest power have the largest wings and they rank themselves in numerical order 13 - 0, 13 being the lowest. All lower other forms of angels, excluding the Cherubim, spawn from each individual Arch Angels own unique power.

cherubim: Lowest form of Angel minion. These creatures are winged beast, bastardized doves the size of basketballs with the faces of humans instead of beaks and taloned baby hands for the tearing of flesh. They are the most basic form Angel and do not spawn from any specific Arch Angel.
