         It wasn't long after Celine asked that Erik appeared, though how he knew to find them was a mystery to her. But he was here and now the group was, well, as complete as it ever really got these days. So many members were off busy with their own things, their own lives, that it was so rare for them to come together like this. She missed the huge gatherings they use to have. Smiling and nodding her head in welcome to Erik she couldn't help but snort out a laugh at Monty's "Izzy's a tiger" statement. "She sure is, and as you can see Monty has been holding out on us with a secret hideout. Are you hiding anything?" she added the last part with a voice full of mocking, not really expecting any further surprises for the day. How wrong was she.

Shortly after Erik's arrival there was a loud thump against the boulder, 'what the...' she thought to herself, moving to get up but was beat to the punch by Monty. Apparently there was a large gorilla of sorts outside about to pummel a classmate. Swell, Monty of course let the girl in, she was in the same year as all of them, but Cece could not for the life of her remember her name. Then, of all the stupid things, Monty went outside to fight off the gorilla-thing himself. "Monty! What the, come back in here!" she hollered, but was either unheard or ignored. She tried to ignore the sounds coming from outside and basically succeeded because when Monty returned she had very little idea of just what had happened outside.

"Er.... Kestle right? Are you.... ok?" Celine tried to start some form of conversation with the girl, figuring she must feel really awkward, Cece knew she would if she were in the girls situation. Everyone in their year pretty much knew the group was tight. Wow this was awkward, she cradled her drink in her hands before gulping it down quickly. She definitely needed another drink, today was turning out to be very complicated and confusing... "Oh jeeze guys, really? Is there going to be anything else? I mean how many surprises can one come across in a single solitary day?" She huffed out a bit, leaning into her seat after setting her glass on a side table, falling into an uncomfortable silence.

         Hogwarts, 10:00pm, Ericks favorite time. Kneeling besides a stone gargoyle on the rooftop, the night chill nipped at his legs, he didn't mind. The full moon bathed everything in a blue light. Erick was dressed in his normal (or 'muggle' as they were called) clothes. A white T, grey cargo shorts, and of corse his black silk windbreaker. A distant bird let out a screech that echoed through the silence of the night; Erick looked up to see the silhouette of Zipporah pass by under a bridge. The bird of prey perched herself beside her friend. Erick smiled looking out at the night sky and ran a finger down Zipporahs neck.

"About that time isn't it?" Erick said as he stood up to his full height. As much as he wanted to continue enjoying the peace of night he had made commitments to his other friends. Reaching inside the breast of his windbreaker Erick produced his wand; a simple seven inches of smooth wood, completely unremarkable say a single long streak where the wood was slightly lighter. Erick took 3 running steps and jumped. Air rushed past his long hair and caused his clothes to ripple as he fell.

Erick twirled the wand around his index finger and caught it upside down. "Improbus gravitas" he whispered.

He cast the spell and suddenly he was no longer falling down, but forward. Adjusting with the sudden gravity change imposed on his body Erick curled his long legs and transferred his excess momentum into a roll. He recovered from the tumble and continued running down the wall of the castle.

Perhaps he should have left sooner. Tonight was to be one of the first nights they would reunite since the holiday, and someone had suggested they play a game of truth or dare in the room of requirements. Erick was not a giant fan of the idea since the game required a deal of speaking. However, Erick decided that he would humor the game if for no other reason than to spend time with the group. Erick sidestepped to avoid stepping on a window. After all, they were really the only wizards and witches he spoke around.

Erick spotted an open window on the floor where the game was to be played. He made a quick adjustment to his pace and jumped into the window. "Improbus gravitas" he whispered again as the glass passed by his face. His feet and hand hit the floor and he eventually came to a stop. From there it was a short walk to the room.

He spotted the tapestry that marked the entrance to the room. He pulled aside the ornament and walked through the doorway. He gave the room a quick look over and noticed almost, of not everyone, had already arrived. He didn't mind being a few minutes late.

Erick quietly made his way towards the fireplace and leaned against the wall just besides it, careful not to block view of the flames. He felt the warmth of the fire wrap itself around his shins. He preferred standing to sitting and it looked for the most pert the group was evenly spaced, so he got comfortable.
