Two lands, Zandria and Maurell, where about to start a war when the peaceful queen of Maurell had an idea. Her youngest daughter who was only a few months old at the time, would marry the only prince of Zandria, who was the same age. When she turned 10, she went to live at Zandria, so the kingdom could get to know their future queen. When they turned 18, they would marry. The Princess of Maurell, who grew to be a terrible flirt, grew to be the best friend of the the calm, intelligent prince of Zanria. Only friends. Not lovers. Often they would dress as commoners and blend into their society for a little while.

He was born into a poor family who lived on a farm in Zandria. He was the oldest of his siblings, with one younger brother and two younger sisters. His father died when he was younger, so he had to support his family and work twice as hard as most his age. He is very passionate about what he believes in, and doesn't give up on anything easily. He ran into the princess of Maurell when she was dressed as a commoner and they fell helplessly in love. Even though she was engaged to the Prince of Zandria.

She was the daughter of a seamstress. Her father works in the store with them. She is very shy, and normally stays inside the store. Like the prince, she is an only child and ger parents are very protective of her. The Prince of Zandria meets her when he is dressed as a commoner, just as the princess of Maurell met her match. They fell in love, but he was slightly more wary in their relationship. He knew he would have to marry his best friend, and tried to not get too close to her. But love will always have its way.
