There was once two friends in highschool, both boys. their class was on a trip, and they were taking part in one of many experiments. This one regarded reproduction, and a chance to end birth defects.
However, after an accident with a sperm sample, some material was splashed onto one of the boys. it seemed okay after lengthy cleanup, but it wasn't.
The next day at school: he noticed odd changes, like his hair a little longer, and his body more slender. This only worsened as his chest began to grow out a little. When he rushed to the bathroom, that's when it all finished: And he became a SHE! And get this: It happens at random!
And that's just messed up in so many ways. He's got to keep it a secret from everyone else, best he can. however, as a girl, he begins to gain feminine feelings. Will he/she choose to be a boy, or stay female forever?!

The Sun shined, as the schoolbus awaited the students who were on their way to the field trip destinations they were to head to just before the start of spring break.
Leo had his arms crossed, and his long Gakuran coat open: It exposed his Bare Chest, his stomach wrapped down to his waist in Sarashi, or Samurai bandages, and a bit of the top part of the high waisted, baggy pants he wore.
"Where the Hell is Shino? I was hired to lead a gang today, and I want to get home fast...."

"Hey Leo! Geez, do you dress like a thug every day of the week?" Shino asked inncently as he jogged up behind his friend. He was actually curious, because that was all Leo ever seemed to wear these days. "Sorry I was running a tad late, ran into a bit of trouble with that one teacher." Shino was referring to that teacher that simply down-right disliked him. But anyway they were going on a trip now and SHino had been looking forward to it all semester.
He smiled in a dopey fashion as they filed into the bus.

Leo pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Ora Ora....Shino, you oughtta kick him in the balls. He never protects that area, and won't bother to tell anyone because it'd be a disgrace to his wannabe 'manliness.' Ha."
He stopped dead in his tracks.
"We're going to the science lab first, then the animal reserve/water park..."
He hoped to god Shino didn't bring that speedo his sister got him.

"Wouldn't kicking him in the balls be a disgrace to my manliness?...." Shino rubbed his head, picturing the pained teacher in his head, and feeling guilty almost as if he had actually done it. "SCIENCE LAB HELL YES." Shino intensely fist pumped the air in quiet excitement after Leo for some strange reason reminded him where they were going. And the person in front of him turned around and gave him a weird look. This made Shino get embarrased and quickly put his hand down. Most of the kids were ultra excited to go to the water park, and admittedly so was Shino, but no one but him was excited for that part, except maybe that ultra-nerd from class A. Was he on their bus? No, thank godness, because all that kid ever did was insult everyone's intelligence.
He looked out the window as he sat down and noticed that Leo had suddenly stopped in his tracks, blocking other students from filing into the bus. He opened the window and stuck his head out, which came only an inch above Leo's head, god he was tall. "Earth to Leo! Why did you suddenly freeze? "It. Is. Not. A. Purse." Shino scowled, he wasn't the only one with that sort of backpack! He'd seen other guys with the side one rather than the two strapped one...but a lot more girls had it he had to admit. Shino scratched his head in thought, "Lets see, I know she put it in last night, but this morning before breakfast I switched it with by trunks, but then I ate breakfast and she was in the living room. Which is where my bag was....it would be a little obsessive of her to double-check my things wouldn't it? She couldn't possibly?...." Shino's face was now mournful, "If she did then I can't swim at the water park, damnit I was looking forward to thaaat!" Shino's head slumped forward to the seat in front of him as the bus started moving, Leo had taken a seat behind him, since real men didn't sit next to one another and instead were intrusive and took up space apparently, because the girls were nice and all paired up in seats.
Shino was assuming the worst again, and this time he was correct, somewhere in a huge house sipping tea, was a laughing older sister who was too pasive agressive for words.

"About that: Mr. Kockass is forcing everyone to swim. He thinks we need the exercise."
Said Teacher appeared to help another, sexy female teacher supervise the students on this bus.
"Alright, lets ROLL!" He thundered. "and if Pantyboy Yamahara brought his favorite pair again, then you either wear that, or 30 days, Detention!"
people were confused by the 'Pantyboy Yamahara' comment, no clue what he meant. Mr. Kasshu was frustrated about that.

Shino's face was one of horror and then the countless bouts of passive agressive fights with his sister kicked in and he smiled. "Gosh Mr. Kasshu, enough with the sexual harrassment!" He whispered/yelled loud enough for his classmates. Causing an eruption of laughter.
"Shino one, Mr. Kasshu...one, damn we're tied..." Shino could never get a leg ahead could he? "If no one got mr Kasshu's joke just now though, they'll get it at the water park won't they?" Shino's head was back on the front seat, and it stayed there until they reached the Science lab.

They arrived, and Leo was amazed at the countless animals in the nextdoor Zoo/research center.
"Those Lions are such Divine Beings!" He stated, reaching through the bars, and surprisingly, the Beast letting The Delinquent pet him.
"Nice burn, Dude! But we'll have to hide you among the brats at the kiddie pool for your social health."

Shino was in concurrence of everyone who was both frightened and awed at the fact that Leo was petting lions. "L-Leo! That's dangerous!" Shino hissed as he backed away hurriedly with the other group of kids, it was akin to a sick fascination, they were scarred, but couldn't look away.
"Go save your friend Shino!" A girl pushed him forward, causing him to trip. He quickly bounced up and brushed himself off while his classmates whinned at the girlm saying that she shouldn't pick on Shino. As if she were bullying him, what a blow to his man-pride. "I tripped! She didn't push me that hard I just...oh never mind." It was sounding worse as he went on, so he shut his mouth and fiddled with the the zipper on hismanpurse bag.
Obviously by this point it was apparent that Leo was in no danger, "Ok, you're one with your namesake animal, now stop creeping us out and lets go, our class group is leaving!" Leo looked like he didn't want to go though, and Shino couldn't wait, so he rushed ahead so he wouldn't be left behind.

Shino regretted starting up this whole thing, because that speech was lengthy. But Leo had made some severe points, "I think I just changed my religion..." He noted mildly, although Shino was only joking, he did not have a religion, and never put any thought into it at all.
The speech began and SHino's attention was grabbed by the man in the white coat, a host if you will. And he gave them a brief on what they were going to explore. Genetic perfection was one of them, apparently they were working on a way to eliminate birth defects. Shino found it interesting.
They were taken briefly to several lab stations and then given free-time to further explore whatever they wanted or go over to the animal exhibit. "I guess this is your chance to go see your animal brothers then Leo." Shino said with a smile, "I'm going to check out the genetics lab!" And he waltzed off to do just that.

Apparently all of the kids got a starting vial if they were going to to genetic lab, and Shino got there last, missing the debriefing, so he simply started mixing things in randomly. What did it matter? Not like any of this was explosive anyway. At the end his vial was pink, "Not sure what I just made. but anyway...." Shino listened to the other students, they were all so proud of their genius selves, and by now Shino was bored, especially since he had no idea what he did with his vial, it was a pretty color though....

Shino gasped and palm-faced, stupid vial! He had left it in his bag rather than disposing of it, and now he had spilled lord new what on himself. He dried himself up and slipped on his embarrassing bathingsuit, and wrapped the robe around himself. Giving the accident no further thought.

The anime that this seems to be based on from the name of the main character is a good fighting anime. In addition the main character usually is only in the female form. It is rare for him/her to be a male even though originally he is not a she but a actually a he. It is confusing when explained if you ask me but oh well.
