For decades two kingdoms have fought each other, neither knowing any better, for they have been raised to hate each other. Many stories of how the war started have been told through out the ages, but only one holds true. Centuries ago, before any of the current rulers had been born, and before the kingdom was separated into two different provinces, it was one country known as Gratidia. The inhabitants of Gratidia, Fae and Elves alike, lived in harmony, that is until a cruel Elvish ruler named Aleris came to power. Aleris began to slaughter the Fae, claiming that they were a threat to the Elvish bloodline, and that Elves and Faes breeding would only cause hardships in the future. The Fae queen at the time, Kala, brought her people to safety in a vacant area across the river of Dhalamir. The elves ,taking on a more brutish role in society, named their new kingdom after Aleris himself, calling it Alala. Where as the Fae, staying true to their mother's nonviolent nature, named their kingdom Kahina.
Set in the old world, where we now find the Fae Prince has fallen in love with the Elvish Prince's bride-to-be. Kahina and Alala are no where near on good terms, nor do they plan to be. Can the Fae win the Princess's heart before it's to late? And to what measures will he go? On top of that two humans have shown up in Kahina. What do they want with the Elvish kingdom? And will they get it, or will they be taken in as slaves? Or worse, will they be killed? What else lurks in the forests of Alala? Or the waters of Kahina? Only you can decide.

Faes-Faes are not fighters, but preservers of life. Most are very civilized, but will never chose to fight. They tend to wear clothing that will enhance their natural ability, for they are always ready for a battle, though they'd prefer not to have one. Some have wild streaks of color in their hair, and gaudy jewelry. Some might say they are show offs.

Elves- The elves are fighters. They are all civilized, and quiet, never arguing or raising their voices, simply choosing to use violence to get their way. Their clothes are nature based, and light, allowing them to move freely. Most elves wear patterns painted onto their skin, and feathers and beads in their hair.
