Story:

You and your friends decided to do a project on the abandoned River Reeds Mental Asylum. Once you got to the unlocked gates of the asylum, a shiver goes down your spine. What if it's haunted? You tell yourself to stop being a wuss and open the doors to the old asylum. On the outside of the building, the asylum looked normal. A mansion-type building with the occasional boarded window. It actually looked kinda cool. You take a picture of the building with your phone and open the creaking green doors to the mental asylum, showing no fear.

Inside the building, it looked totally different. A faint rotting smell filled the lobby. The broken TVs showed only static. Motivational posters were torn off the walls. The floor tiles were painted with sparkling scarlet blood. Couches were ripped open. Broken glass was scattered all over the floor. But the most spine-tingling, bone-chilling thing about this asylum was the cries of help from a little girl named Mary-Anne, who was locked in one of the white padded rooms. Her cries for help echoed through the empty hallways, begging for anyone to save her from this horrible, Hellish place. Her screams must have awoken some type of evil being, for a hiss from nearby made the screams stop. A shattering sound, as if someone had knocked over a vase, was also heard. Someone or something other than the helpless little girl was here, and they have sensed you and your party.

Hey guys, KittensAteMySammich here. Welcome to Nyctophobia: The Strange and Twisted. All characters are welcome to participate in this mental asylum survival simulator. Your character can be a monster that seeks juicy flesh, or a human that yearns to survive this Hell. Either way, you have to survive. And trust me, that isn't easy.

Here are some tips for surviving:
1: You need a weapon. Get a metal pipe or a syringe full of drugs and you're all set.
2: You don't need one, but you may want to have a party. A party is a group of people you stick with to increase chances of survival.
3: Explore. You have to keep moving. Cling to a spot, and the monsters will spot you.
4: Bring forth the sacrifice! If it's your only chance, sacrifice one of your party, yourself, or Mary-Anne to survive!
5: Talk to other humans,or if you're a monster, other monsters, to get more party members. If you want, make friends with every human you find to make a huge survivalist club.
6: Take some risks. It's a roleplay, you can take risks...
7: If you're a monster, don't use a human name. Hell, even be a SCP or something. Yolo!
8: Don't sacrifice unless you HAVE to.
