Introduction
You are an operative of the organization "Dreamscape", which has dedicated itself to investigating and eradicating Dark Phenomenon. You have been assigned to join a team of seven other Dreamscape operatives in the city now known as Nameless. This city has recently fallen under the veil of a mysterious perpetual darkness. Creatures of unknown origin now wander the streets, hunting and terrorizing the city's populace at their leisure. The only remaining safe haven for the people of the city is a small fortified church building near the outskirts, which is where you will be meeting your fellow operatives.
Mission Name: Operation: Daybreak
Mission Objectives: Find and destroy the source of this Dark Phenomenon by any means necessary. If possible, rescue any survivors.
Intel: The city has been divided into four quarters.
Q1 (The Crimson Shore) has been infested by all manner of blood-thirsty creatures. There are signs of survivors here, and it is more than likely that they have gathered supplies that could be very useful to you on your mission. This quarter is closest to the church, and it is recommended that you begin your investigation here.
Q2 (The Spirit's Wake) is overrun with spectral horrors. There is no evidence to support the possibility of survivors, however there is an abandoned library that appears to be a foothold for the Dark Phenomenon's forces. Securing this foothold would put you at a significant advantage.
Q3 (The Mad Run) has been polluted with a noxious gas that will wear on your mind. It will take all your mental training to resist this corruption. It is advised that you proceed through this quarter as quickly as possible.
Q4 (The Heart of Darkness). No relevant intel is available for this quarter. The source of the Dark Phenomenon is most likely located here.

The city of Nameless is shrouded in darkness, and due to the marauding creatures it has become worn down, much of the city now left in ruins. In the first scene the operatives are gathering in a church on the outskirts of the city, where they have been instructed to meet with Vincent who will be leading Operation: Daybreak.

Re: [OOC] Operation: Daybreak
I adopted the abandoned character of Curtis Layton. I added a picture as well. Looking forward to getting the ball rolling!
Re: [OOC] Operation: Daybreak
[edit] My apologies, but just as I posted my interest, I was accepted into an roleplay elsewhere that I believed to be dead. I don't really have time for both. My deepest apologies, but good luck!
Re: [OOC] Operation: Daybreak
Jericho: There isn't really a set "time period", but the environment would resemble a Gothic-style city from our medieval era. The restrictions on weapons are listed to the right of your character, you'll have to choose one of the two listed weapons. In Male Operative #4 your choices are Dual Swords, Dual Axes or a Sword and an Axe.
Re: [OOC] Operation: Daybreak
Quick questions:
What is the time era?
Are there limitations on weapons, ex. projectile weapons like guns?
