Prox·im·i·ty [prok-sim-i-tee] –noun Nearness in place, time, order, occurrence, or relation.

The two figures peered into a gap in front of them. It was a dark hole, floating on the horizon in front of them. A bright green and white light drifted within it; floating in a cosmic plasma essence. The taller of the two figures spoke, "It is rare that I stumble upon such a thing."

"Is this what you were looking for?" The smaller figure softly spoke, her voice timid.

"Seems so." He paused. "I didn't expect this, however." An emerald orb on his shoulder chirped and whirred. "Yes, Emmy, your readings are correct." A smirk fell upon the face of the silver haired man. "Let the dance of creation begin."

A world between worlds. A plane hidden in the endless expanse of planes. Its proximity to everything is what gave it its name, Proxi. All walks of life have seemed to be able to take refuge in the protective plane of Proxi. The mysteries of the plane, itself, have yet to reveal themselves. As to how everything converged into what it is now, credit is given to a planeswalker and his apprentice; Vexar Marques and Rozwell.

More information on Proxi:
This is an ongoing chat role play set in a multiverse type of setting. What does this mean to you? It means all role playing is done in the chat rooms created for the role play, no where else. It, also, means that all genres of role play are welcome here. There are certain things that restrict you; so it is HIGHLY recommended that you read up the information on each place before diving right into the settings themselves.

Proxi will be an ever-changing place. There will be events held, as well as over arching stories as to what is going on. It is highly recommended that you do your best to create your own story arcs as well. If yours takes off enough, then it will become part of Proxi as well. What you do in this role play can effect the plane around you as well as the players. Please remember that everyone is here to do the same thing, role play. So try to acknowledge what the others around you are doing!

Vexar Marques exits the tavern. Proxi had all but died down in the past few months. He simply kept things running and working. A few lurkers remained about as Vexar walked through the emporium. He stood over eight feet tall, and with as few people around as there were, he stood out even more.

"Nyeh." He arched his back and something popped. "Keepin' this place runnin seems about werthless..." His accent odd to place or understand.

Kora Lavra Zervos 's lithe steps carried her to the center of the town quickly, eyes darting about in wonder. She wasn't sure how she had been carried to this place, simply falling asleep in the quick current of a river. And then she'd seen this town in the distance...Interesting. Luckily, it was still night. No worries as of yet to the demon rising soon.

"I should find a place to hide..." she mumbled quietly to herself. "But then again, there are people to examine!" A smile lit up her face. This might be fun...

Kora Lavra Zervos found herself distinctly interested in a figure taller than the others around. She'd never seen anything quite so tall, all her sisters were the same height, no matter their age. That was why that life had been so boring...No unique anything!

She gracefully sped after him, her attention slowly being averted to the fountain...Water! Ah, the glorious substance. Any thoughts of the tall one were lost as she tried to submerge whatever parts of her she could in the fountain, despite any strange looks she may receive.
