History:
Haven is the second child, and only daughter, of Paul David Hewson, and Eileen Kingsley. Although Eileen had made a name for herself in the acting business, it was Paul, who was the more well known as the two. Few people know him by his birth name, though, and he's more commonly recognized as "Bono", the lead singer of U2, one of the most popular and influential rock bands of the last 30 years. For the first six years of her life, Haven had everything she could wish for, and more. She was shielded from any of her parents' wrongdoings, was spoiled rotten, and had a great older brother to spend time with. However, when her mother's affair was exposed by the media, their family structure seemed to fall apart. Her mother ended up leaving their family completely, not even pursuing a case in court to obtain custody of their children. Even to this day, her father insists that Eileen wasn't a bad mother and was just brainwashed by her new husband, who was nearly a Tom Cruise wannabe with his "crazy" Scientology ideologies, but Haven has grown to believe that the woman was horrible. Who wouldn't think that, of someone who literally abandoned her family, and never tried to reach out to them again, despite still living in the same community as them?
(wip)

Secret(s):
Her sexuality isn't a secret to anyone who actually knows her well, but it's not something that the media is privy to, and she's okay with it staying that way. Additionally, as much as she likes to act like she's in control of being out of control, she isn't. She's almost developed an addiction, of sorts, to her partying lifestyle, and she can't get a grasp on it anymore.

Positive Traits:
Confident: Haven has a a strong sense of self. She knows who she is, and she's not afraid of being herself. She's comfortable in her own skin and has thick skin when it comes to criticism or harassment. That's not to say that she doesn't feel things and that she's invincible to everything, but she's pretty good at not letting the haters get to her.

Vibrant: You know those people who seem to light up the room with their energy? Haven is one of them. She always seems to find a way to make her presence known, which can be a good and a bad thing, depending on the time and the place, but there's no denying that she's full of life, and in general, full of positive vibes. She likes having fun, laughing, and just being happy, and her tendency to frequently be animated and energetic reflects that.

Personable: Socializing is definitely a specialty of hers. She doesn't find small talk to be pointless of boring, and has no trouble engaging in conversation with strangers.

Trustworthy: The advice that she will have to offer you might not always be the best, but if there's one thing you can trust in Haven, it's that she will keep your secrets and act loyal to you, if you and her are on that level of friendship. She's not someone who's going to stab your back or leave you hanging if you're a friend of hers.

Seductive: Well, at least she thinks that this is a positive trait. When your boyfriend (or girlfriend) starts hitting on her in response to it, you probably won't think the same, but there's no denying that Haven has a sort of flirtatious charm to her. She likes to joke that "Oops!...I Did it Again" by Britney Spears is her theme song because her natural demeanor frequently leads people into thinking that she's hitting on them or has serious interest in them, when in reality, she's the last person who's interested in romance or a relationship. She's very sensual, but she's not looking to be tied down to anything involving feelings.

Character Flaws:
Selfish: She will deny it until the day that she dies, but when it comes down to it, Haven is selfish. She puts herself first in situations where it's understandable to do so, for self-preservation reasons, but she also puts herself first in almost any other situation, too. She's not proud of it, and a lot of the time she does realize that she's acting selfishly, but she takes it personally when people put their own needs before her own wants.

Impulsive: This trait is one that has recently gotten Haven into a lot of trouble. A lot of people like to call themselves impulsive, but they're impulsive to the same degree that a person who jaywalks is a criminal. When it comes to Haven, though, she really fulfills the meaning of the world. If something is suggested and sounds remotely fun or beneficial to her, she's going to pledge her support for it and go through with it without even second guessing it. Consequences are non-existent in that moment, and oddly, she always ends up baffled once the poor choice she made leads to them. She finds it to be extremely difficult to say "no" to things, or even think them through.

Unforgiving: It ties into her selfishness in a sense, but Haven is the kind of person who really struggles with forgiveness. She can't understand or stand the thought of anyone wronging her or breaking her trust, and then her just welcoming them back into her life with open arms. That would make her look like a fool, and she certainly doesn't consider herself to be stupid. It's unfair, in respect to how Haven has definitely messed up more than once in her life, so she knows what the power of forgiveness is, but she just doesn't like applying it to her own relationships. Just like she values the trust others put in her, she values trust in her friendships, and dislikes the idea of anyone breaking that and still calling themselves a friend of hers.

Unfiltered: Physically, she fits into the high society well. She adheres to the social standards of beauty, and if she feels like it, she can act regal and poised. However, putting in the effort to act that way happens maybe 1% of the time, and the other 99% of the time, she's unfiltered and crude. She has a sarcastic and inappropriate sense of humor and has a tendency to offend people with things that she thinks are just harmless jokes.

Likes:
Clothes, night clubs, vodka mixed with just about anything, rain (who in California doesn't?!), In & Out, exercising, yoga, sunsets, sour candy, ice cream, being cooked for, knowingly breaking the rules, adrenaline rushes

Dislikes:
Cheap liquor, romance and serious relationships, homophobia, scary movies, pets (she can tolerate them, but she's not okay with your Golden Retriever licking her face, or your cat attacking her shoelaces), her mother, paparazzi, police, being expected to be "the bigger person"

Fears:
The idea of drowning is absolutely horrifying to her. She's completely fine swimming in pools or the ocean on a calm day, and is actually quite well at swimming, but rough waters scare her. Additionally, she's not a fan of boats (big ones or kayaks and smaller boats), because the thought of them sinking or flipping over with her trapped inside really scares her. Though it doesn't seem that way, she definitely is scared of getting into "serious" legal trouble and having to go to jail, or worse, killing someone. Date rape drugs, drinking so much that she can't remember what happened, and spiders also make it onto her list of fears.

Aspirations:
Haven follows such a strong "live in the moment" mantra, that she really doesn't have any long term goals. She supposes that she wants children at some point, and getting married would be nice too, but she's not one of those people who are set on living a certain lifestyle that's been planned out since they were fourteen. She just goes with the flow, and takes things as they come.

Really, Owen had no need to stay at home all day. Every single detail of the party was being taken care of by their party planners, and he knew that things would end up fine. However, despite knowing that the end outcome would be good, he couldn't resist worrying about the little things. Had he spent most of the day out of the house, like some of the others had, he would have just been painfully anxious and brought the mood down, so staying at home and keeping check of everything seemed like his best option. He spent most of the morning and afternoon following up with the housekeepers, who ensured that every room in the home was sparkling clean (despite it being a backyard party), the landscapers, who had polished off all of the outdoor areas, and then the party planners. They insisted that everything was going according to schedule. The barbecue menus that the chefs had would be cooked to perfection, there would be enough food, seating and liquor for everyone, the decor was flawless, and the party would go off without a problem. Still, it wasn't until the party actually started at five o'clock, that he started to relax. It took a few cold beers, and seeing a lot of old, familiar faces, but by six o'clock, Owen was starting to feel more comfortable and in the party mood. As promised, things were going perfectly and as more people started to arrive, it seemed like people really were having a good time. The food was expected to be ready in a half an hour, so for now, Owen found himself mingling among the guests. He knew many of them, but many were also acquaintances of Andre, Natalia or Kylie, and some were even invited by the Rockefellers, Hewsons and Bautistas, so it was interesting to socialize with some new faces too.

"Bianca! Wow, it's so great to see you," Owen exclaimed upon departing from one group of friends, and running into an old friend who hadn't seen in at least a year or two. Bianca was an Italian model who he had worked with back in 2013. Despite being a few years older than him, she had always been incredibly gorgeous and alluring, but she had admirably chosen to take on less modelling jobs in the more recent years in order to focus on her children. Owen would never admit it, but he had always had a crush on the woman, so much so, that he had actually been glad when the news of her divorce arose. He wasn't the kind of guy who would take advantage of that, or even make a move on her, knowing that she had never seemed to be romantically interested in him, but just as a friend, he was glad to see her. "I didn't think you were going to make it. Last I heard, you were back, living in Spain." The pair spent a few minutes chatting, before heading over to the lounge area, that was set up to offer a full service bar. A few of Bianca's girl friends were over there as well, so Owen didn't feel bad leaving her there, now with a Jack & Coke in hand, and heading back over to the main lawns. One side of the lawns was occupied by elegant tables that bordered the huge line of buffet tables that would soon be covered in the fresh food being cooked on the row of grills in the back of the yard, as well as everything being cooked inside of the house. The other side of the lawn was where more people were mingling, likely since the DJ was set up over there as well. The sun was still up, and the night was still young, so Owen wasn't surprised that few people were dancing yet, and most seemed to just be socializing. At least for him, he was sure that it would take a few more drinks to loosen up to that extent, but with the great vibes of the afternoon so far, he was sure that most people would hit that point sooner than later. People were moving in and out of the pool house and main residence as well, which Owen had no problem with. The indoors offered some relief from the California heat, restrooms, a more intimate setting to socialize, and as Chris had insisted, some tables for beer pong and other drinking games. Though this was a casual party, Owen was still used to casual still maintaining some sense of class. It was a compromise that he was willing to make though, knowing that it would probably only add an element of fun to the night.

He had no destination in mind as he floated through the party guests, occasionally stopping for a minute to say hello or respond to the frequent "how've you been?" he got from acquaintances, but when he spotted Haven and Kylie sitting down at one of the tables on the other side of the lawn, with a group of guys standing over them, there was no question that he was going over there. He knew, deep down, that he had no right to just barge in whenever anyone started talking to his sister, but in his defense, he wasn't acquainted to these guys, so that alone was enough justification for him to go over and breakup whatever probably-innocent conversation was occurring. "Wow, looks like we're having fun over here!" he said, with mock exuberance as he placed a hard hand on the back of one of the guys, in the way that a father would purposely squeeze the hand of the guy taking his daughter to prom, ten times harder than necessary. "You guys mind giving me a minute of privacy with my underage sister, and her lovely friend?" he continued, still maintaining that clearly-feigned friendliness. And yeah, he knew that Kylie was no longer underage, but it didn't stop him from using the term quite frequently whenever any attracted males were around.

Brooke arrived a couple days later than the others, mainly because she had to finish a few things up at her company before hopping on a plane to Beverly Hills. By the time she arrived the party had already started. The female let out a soft sigh as she pushed her way through the small crowd of strangers who were arriving at the party and stepped inside the very familiar home. The brunette carried her things upstairs and found the room she always stayed in every summer in the past and set her suitcases on the bed.

Brooke began to rummage through her suitcase for her black, floral bikini before changing into it and pulled her brunette strands into a messy bun. She stepped in front of the mirror and immediately began to pick and pry at everything she hated about herself, including how "fat" her stomach was. It's time again, she thought as she began to head towards the bathroom. The female closed the door behind her and proceeded to lock it before kneeling over the toilet and slid her left index finger to inside her mouth to the back of her throat. Successfully causing her to throw up everything she had eaten on the plane ride; which wasn't very much to begin with.

When she finished, she stood to her feet and stepped over to the sink. After taking a deep breath she looked into the mirror for a few brief seconds before reaching over to the toilet paper and wiped her mouth. Brooke dropped the toilet paper into the toilet before proceeding to flush it. She took one last relaxing deep breath before unlocking the bathroom door and stepping out.

The female returned to her room and grabbed her bottle of tanning lotion then proceeded to the backyard. She figured she mind as well spend the next couple hours of sunlight getting a much needed tan before the night time took over. As she began to make her way through the crowd, she would say her "hellos" to strangers and acquaintances she hasn't seen in years, or at least what felt like years. After about five minutes of useless conversation with people she hardly even knows, she finally found an empty lounge chair and took a seat before beginning to rub tanning lotion over her body.

It was nice to be back with her friends and family, though she hoped she would run into Natalia or Haven shortly. She missed those two so much, especially Natalia. Though she was a bit nervous about seeing Nat again. For the past couple years she's been feeling weird around her, kind of like she was attracted to her or something. Brooke is completely confused about that situation, but she hopes it would never come up. She would rather keep that bit of information to herself, especially since she doesn't even understand the information at hand.

Just as she got situated, she heard her phone go off, signaling that she received a text from Natalia. The female practically smiled from ear to ear when she saw the message.

To: Nat
I'm in the lounge area getting a tan. Taking advantage of the next couple hours of sunlight. Lol.

Brooke set her phone down on the chair beside her and laid her head back on the back of the chair and closed her eyes, being sure to listen to the commotion around her.

Haven's Outfit
Haven had a bad tendency of running late for things, and today was no exception. She had moved her things into her room in the Knight home earlier that morning, but had left midday for what she had intended to be a "quick" spa day. She had originally planned on just getting a manicure and pedicure, and maybe a short massage too, but when a few friends showed up, she ended up getting the whole works done. By the time that she got home, it was already four o'clock, and as usual, it took her longer than necessary to get ready. She only left her bedroom around five-thirty, but it ended up not being too big of a deal, since Kylie had returned to the house late too, and wasn't ready until around them either. Though Haven had other people who she could easily make small talk with, she found Kylie to be her closest companion out of the bunch, and had waited until she was ready before going downstairs to the party.

Now they were about thirty minutes in, and after a bit of mingling, the pair had already turned reclusive and found themselves a nice, shady spot at one of the tables that were closest to the trees in the yard. Haven had a drink in her hand, and with Kylie sitting next to her, she wasn't pressed for anything more than that. Or at least anything more that this party could offer her. "Did I not tell you that we should have went to Diplo's yacht party? You need to learn to listen to me, baby Jenner!" Haven complained, a playful slap to the other girl's arm as she slid her her cell phone, with an Instagram feed filled with pictures of Haven's friends having fun on the boat. Today's party was going to be fun too, so her complaints were really just being made for the sake of complaining, even though they held little weight. Really, if she had wanted to go to the other party so badly, she could have, even without Kylie. Howell probably would have given her shit for disappearing without telling him, or bailing on the first party of the summer when the whole point of staying here was to socialize with old friends, but it's not like it would have been the first time that she did something, knowing entirely of how it would bother her brother. Just after she retrieved her phone from Kylie's grasp, a group of guys approached the table that they were sitting at. They introduced themselves, giving their names, as well as stating that they knew Chris. After a few minutes of chatting, Haven realized that she knew why one of them looked familiar, and it was because his father owned one of the hottest clubs in L.A. No wonder why he knows Chris! she realized, though she restrained herself from vocalizing the thoughts. The guys were pleasant, and definitely not overbearing, but she could tell by how Kylie's eyes remained mostly on her phone, that she was uninterested, and Haven didn't really blame her. They weren't attractive enough where either girl wanted to grace them with their company. At least not yet, considering that Haven was still sipping on her first vodka lemonade.

Though the backyard was growing more crowded by the minute, Haven managed to pick out Ariana and Andre walking a good distance away, towards the bar. As the guys continued to try and keep she and Kylie's interest, Haven didn't even feel bad picking up her phone and sending a text to the girl sitting right besides her.

To: Kylie
OMG Rose is wearing all white. You should totally push her into the pool ;)

She wasn't really being serious, but to Haven, doing something like that wouldn't seem so outlandish once she got a few more drinks in her. She wouldn't end up doing it to be mean, because she wasn't a genuinely mean person, but it could be done out of a mixture of wanting to send a message to Rose that she needed to lighten up, and how Haven was likely going to get a laugh out of it herself. She didn't actually expect, or maybe even want Kylie to do it, but then again, she definitely wouldn't hate her if she did do it. Before she could even turn her head away from the boys to see Kylie's reaction, Owen was suddenly parting the group of guys like the Red Sea, and all it took were a few words for them to head in the opposite direction. "Jeez, Owen. If you're so pressed on having me all to yourself to talk to, then you should just grow some balls and be more direct about it. You know I'm always down for a good time, if it involves you." The last sentence came out as more of a seductive whisper than anything else, and continuing with her cheeky attitude, she had stood up and grasped the collar of his shirt to pull him closer to her. She loved messing with Owen, acting like she was dying to get him into bed, just to see his reaction, because nine times out of ten, it was an amusing one. He never actually seemed to whole-heartedly shut her down, but she could tell that he was thrown off by her bluntness, and strangely, that made her more pleased with their encounters.

Kylie found Haven's text to be amusing, especially compared to how uninteresting she found the boys' attempts at conversation to be. However sure she was that Haven was probably only partly joking, she still knew that she would never do that. For one, she and Rose didn't have any problems, and Kylie knew that would be a "mean girl" move, and secondly, she was Andre's girlfriend, so Kylie guessed that she was supposed to respect that. Get a few drinks into Haven though, and Kylie wouldn't have been surprised if the girl acted on her own suggestion and did it. It didn't even have to do with Haven and Rose not being the best of friends. More than that, Kylie just knew that Haven was very impulsive and spontaneous. She wasn't bad-natured, and even though she didn't like Rose, pushing her into the pool probably wouldn't have even been done out of spite, so much as it would have been done just for a laugh. Whether that was good or bad, Kylie wasn't really sure, but she was convinced that at the very least, things were never boring when Haven was around, and that in itself was fun.

To: Haven
Hahaha but yeah no thanks I'm trying NOT to be killed this summer!!

Kylie managed to respond to Haven, who sat just a few inches away, before Owen announced his presence with his typically obnoxious attitude. Just hearing his voice made Kylie's eyes roll as if it were an automatic response, and she looked at him with a daggered glare as he scared off the guys with a reference to her being underage. She was nearly nineteen, so it wasn't true, and though she hadn't been even minutely interested in the guys who had seemed like more of a nuisance than anything, she wouldn't admit that now that Owen had ruined it, whether she had liked it or not. This was nothing surprising though. Be it him or Andre, one of the two older brothers always had to be stepping into absolutely any situation she was in. The guy ringing her up at the grocery store made the mistake of allowing his eyes to fall just slightly below her face? He was getting some snarky comment. A boy who she had been friends with for years was coming over, well then, he needed to know that she had not one, but two brothers in the house who were fluent in ass-kicking. It was a stark contrast to the way relationships were treated with her other side of the family, where her mother and siblings were actually frequently trying to set her up with guys. "Connections, connections, connections!" she could hear her mother's voice ringing out in her head. If she wasn't eighteen and vying for freedom, she probably would have struggled with considering which one was worse than the other, but to her, Owen and Andre's control issues were definitely less preferred, especially during times like now, when she genuinely wasn't doing anything wrong. The only thing that she was sipping on was a glass of water, and considering her typical taste in clothing, the clothes she was donning were pretty modest. Nonetheless, Owen had to come and make his presence known, and to her, it seemed beyond pathetic.

"Oh my God, can you not?" she nearly groaned when Haven stood up and went promiscuous-mode, grabbing Owen by the collar and tempting him with a provocative comment. Again, she knew Haven, and knew (or at least hoped) that she was just trying to get a rise out of Owen, and maybe her too, but the last thing that she wanted to think about was anyone flirting with Owen, especially when they were friends with her. "But seriously, Owen, can't you go bother Nat or someone other than me? Haven and I are just trying to have fun, and you're probably the only thing that could get in the way of that tonight." Suddenly, Diplo's yacht party seemed like a fabulous idea. Normally, Kylie would have automatically jumped on that invite, but she was just having an off day today. That was probably reflected in her more simple outfit choice, and the innocent liquid in her glass right now, but she just wasn't in the mood with drama. She had gotten so much flack from her mother for not spending July 4th with their family, since they were going to be filming for the show at the barbecue Khloe was hosting. It had only been a week since the news had broken on TMZ that Phil Knight was her real father, and though no one related to the family confirmed or denied the reports, Kylie knew that that was what her "story line" for this season of the show was going to be. Of course, no one wanted to confirm or deny it to the media, because they wanted that reveal to come out during the next season on the show, where they could be the ones to profit from its exposure. And really, Kylie was just tired of it. She was tired of the media, the tabloids, and she felt bad saying it, but that side of her family too. Everyone close to the Kardashians, who knew about Kylie's actual father, swore up and down that they had nothing to do with the tabloids finding out, and Kylie knew that it didn't make her mom look good, so she couldn't surmise why the woman would have leaked it herself, but that was another rumor that was swirling; that Kris had leaked it to hype up the next season and increase the ratings and at this point, Kylie didn't know what to believe. All she knew was that she needed a break, and if her ignoring all twenty of Kris' phone calls over the past hour would spin her into being an ungrateful, closed off brat, come the next season of their show, then so be it. Tonight, she just wanted to relax.

If he could have, he would have done exactly what Kylie said when she exclaimed "can you not?!" in disgust. He would have not, because it wasn't like him to be an avid flirter, at least not around his siblings, but he never knew quite how to react to Haven. No matter how absurd or lascivious what she was doing was, it usually managed to elicit a smirk out of him. It was a smirk that probably reflected, even, that he wasn't sure if he was ready to play along, but was still thoroughly amused. "Alright, alright," Owen said, patting the air with his hands as if to request they both settle down. With how cautious they had to be in public, about not causing even a small scene, unless they wanted it to be spun into some huge tabloid news story, Owen had grown accustomed to wanting things to be as quiet and peaceful as possible, even at home. It was his own fault for disrupting them, especially since, despite his opinion, both girls had seemed rather uninterested in the men, but he wasn't going to admit that. All that he was going to do right now is do his best to keep his eyes off of Haven, and that dress that she was wearing that made her look absolutely flawless. He only allowed his eyes to graze over her form for a millisecond, but in his head, he must have played that over ten times, in slow motion. "I was actually just trying to keep those creeps away from you two," Owen explained, as if the men had looked anything but normal, as he took a step back to free himself from Haven's clutch. The moment she had stepped that close and grabbed his collar had coincided too closely for comfort, for when he started sweating harder than even the California heat could be blamed for, and he didn't want to have to acknowledge that. "Although I must say, you look great tonight, Haven," he added. And yeah, that was about as bold as he was going to get flirtation-wise, in front of his younger sister and to one of his closest friend's sister.

Kylie's attempt at sounding like the victim who just wanted to have fun made Owen want to roll his eyes, even if what she was saying was actually valid. That was just how his older brother mindset worked. Fun for her, could never be innocent. It wasn't even always because of her own actions, or even Haven's, but because of the men who seemed to flock to her side whenever she was trying to have that fun. If Owen could have kept her locked in the theater all night, with some PG movie playing, God knows that he probably would have. If nothing else, he had to admit that he was pleasantly surprised that she hadn't actually gone over to her mother's house, like she had insisted on doing some weeks back. He supposed that the recent breaking of the news about her connection to Own and Phil, and their step family, had something to do with it, but surprisingly, Owen wasn't going to pry. "I want you two to have fun, so long as it's being done safely," he paused, his gaze turning to Haven with that adjective, before turning back to Kylie with the next, "and legally." He reached across their table and took her glass before she could object. One swig of the clear liquid signaled that it actually was just water, but again, he felt like he had good reason to just check and make sure it wasn't straight liquor. "All right, good. Just water," he declared, as he set the glass back down. Knowing that Kylie was probably ready to snap at him, he smirked, somewhat knowingly, but took a few steps backwards, signaling his exit. "If anyone else comes over to bother you guys, just let me know," he left them with, knowing good and well that they would never actually do that. His next stop in mind? The bar.

"You're not looking too shabby yourself, Knight," Haven retorted, a wink coming out as she bit her lower lip while her eyes skimmed over him. She allowed him to step out of her grip, and waited before he had finally left their table before turning back to Kylie with a newly revived and energized smile. "Okay, so when are we leaving?"

Kylie's mood had taken a sharp decline once Owen graced them with their presence, and she found herself scowling, even now that he was gone. She no longer wanted to sip her water since he had drank out of the glass, and just to spite him, despite not even being in the mood, she was ready to move on to alcohol. She didn't feel like getting up just yet, even though it was in her character to want to socialize, so she remained in her seat, swishing around the water in her cup as she looked at Haven curiously. "Leaving for what?"

"The yacht's not leaving until seven-thirty! We still have time to catch that, and if not, your sister's going to the Hadids' party later. We can crash that." And if Kylie wasn't in the mood for either of those options, Haven had a long list of events she could attend. A lot of them were related to modelling, with the connections she made there, but with her name, along with Kylie's, it would be fairly easy to get in anywhere, really.

"Ugh, I wish," Kylie commented, only half-heartedly despite her best attempt at sounding genuine. There was a large part of her that did want to get out of here. It wasn't because the party here was actually lame, or dead, or anything like that. In fact, it was quite the opposite, and was probably one of the top celebrity hot spots for the holiday. There were famous faces from Hollywood, the biggest names in the music industry, the best sports players, and gorgeous people who you could continuously spot in Vogue, here. It only took a quick glance around to notice that everyone was having a good time, and rightfully so, since Owen had done a good job in putting this together, and the day itself was a good one for an outdoor party. The fact that her brothers were here was an instant downer, since it led to Kylie automatically feeling restricted, but she was very capable of just being like Natalia, and not giving a fuck about that. She liked to think that she did that as good, if not better, than her sister, so she couldn't blame them for her off mood today. Normally while she would be jumping at the chance to break the rules and go to some other party, today, her home felt like a safe haven. If she left the property, the paparazzi were bound to find her, and then she would be bombarded about questions about her father and her family, and actually, probably a million other scandals that she was unaware of too. It was a headache in the making, and even if wherever they ended up was fun, she didn't want to deal with that. Especially not when she knew that once that headache was over with, and she had her fun at the party, she would come home to deal with another headache from Owen and Andre, and then another one tomorrow morning, when she woke up with a horrible hangover. And when Haven was involved in her partying, that somehow always ended up happening. "But Owen would kill me, and wouldn't Howell be mad at you for just going MIA too? Plus, Owen actually did well with the chefs he hired for tonight, and I'm starving. Let's at least wait until after we eat, to figure out what this night has in store," she suggested, requesting the compromise only because she wasn't sure if Haven would take "staying here all night" as an answer, but she also didn't want the girl to leave her to go party on her own.

"Come ooooooooon, Ky! I'm bored and I look good. I want to have fun tonight!" She dramatically flopped back down onto the chair besides Kylie, and her exclamation of her desire to have fun was enough to give herself an idea. She pulled out her phone and sent Christopher a quick text message that read, "wya?", before looking back towards Kylie with a playful smile. "Besides, it's not like your brother seems like he's ready to have fun with me tonight, so I need to find myself another eligible bachelor to play with." That thought was quickly followed up by another, which in typical Haven fashion, she didn't think twice about saying aloud. "Or ineligible bachelor. I saw Andre earlier and let me tell you, that boy knows how to wear blue. Sleeping with her boyfriend might cross the line between just joking and actually being a bitch though, right?" she questioned, almost entirely serious.

"Oh my God, no," Kylie objected dramatically, in a manner that was only somewhat playful. She knew that a lot of the time, Haven said and did things to get a reaction out of people. It seemed like she fed off of that, or the energy of it, at least. Kylie didn't think deeply into it enough where she was contemplating whether it was because Haven craved attention, or maybe even control over people's emotions, but she still didn't like it when Haven did it at her expense. Especially when the topic of it all was her own siblings, and Haven trying to speak about them sexually. It was no surprise that she did it about Owen and Andre, but get a few drinks into the model, and it wasn't shocking when she started including Nat in those conversations, too. Kylie didn't dislike Haven for being a sexual person, though, and it actually would have been hypocritical for her to have been so. Everyone liked to make comments about how Kylie's own sister, Kim, founded the family's careers through her own promiscuous behaviors, and it seemed like every day, there was a new tabloid story being conjured about Kylie, herself, going home from a club with some rapper, or model, or athlete, who she had never even met before.

Realistically, she didn't come close to Haven in terms of being so open and free about sex or those topics, despite what other people wanted to say. Sure, she liked to wear some tight fitting outfits that left little for the imagination, from time to time, and she definitely wasn't shy about fashion in that sense, but she wasn't a slut. Despite what Owen seemed to believe, she didn't seek men out just to spend a night with, to piss him off. She didn't want to become pregnant or be some famous guy's arm candy for a month before he cheated on her and moved on to the next. If Kylie was going to end up in a relationship, she wanted it to be a real one, and if she wanted to end up in a sex-only relationship, she definitely hadn't met any guys worthy of that partnership yet. Or maybe she had, and they just weren't worth the stress that she knew would come, especially this summer, living with Andre and Owen... but what was important now, was that no matter how liberal Kylie felt herself to be, she still wasn't comfortable with Haven describing her sexual fantasies when they involved her siblings. "First of all, Andre is not stupid enough to do that to Rose, and second of all, I will kill you if you end up doing anything with either of my brothers. That's just... gross! And yeah, it would definitely cross the 'evil bitch' line, too." Kylie and Rose weren't particularly close, but they were friendly enough that she didn't have any real reason to encourage Haven to do something that would surely hurt the Rockefeller. If there was one Rockefeller who she didn't care for though, it was Brooke. The girl just gave off bad vibes, Kylie thought. She was the knock-off version of Rose, and had no right to think that she was better than anyone, because of that alone. "If you're going to fuck with anyone this summer, make it Brooke," Kylie suggested, a bit deviously, as they approached the bar lounge area. Owen had beat them their by a few minutes, and was now standing with Andre and Rose. Natalia and Brooke were there too, among a fair amount of other party guests, though the area wasn't particularly crowded by any means.

Simply because she didn't want Haven to be around either of her brothers, Kylie decided that crashing Natalia and Brooke's little duo would be preferable over the trio's, so she led Haven to the side of the bar that the two girls stood at, and made sure to stand on the side farthest from Andre, Owen, and Rose. Natalia's outfit, even with the cover-up, was reassuring, since Kylie felt like there was no way either of her brothers could give her shit for ordering a drink when Nat was wearing that, but she wouldn't have really cared anyway. Owen and his incessant need to dominate every aspect of everyone's life was tiring and unwanted, and she wasn't in the mood for it today. "One California iced tea, please," she said, when a finger raised in the air caught the familiar-looking bartender's attention. Only acknowledging Brooke and Nat now, and actually not even acknowledging Brooke personally, Kylie turned to Natalia with a smile. "I can't believe you actually wore this. I mean, I totally love it, though," she said genuinely, as she brazenly sent two fingers to grab one of the straps that crossed over Nat's torso and gently allowed it to snap back against her sister's stomach after she pulled it slightly, to feel the damp material. "Haven and I might ditch in a little while. Do you think you can cover for me, if we do?" Seeing Owen again had left her doing a complete 180 on the thought of ditching this party for another one, because now, especially with the cold drink in her hand, she was feeling like maybe she could get into the mood to party tonight.

Natalia didn't bother acknowledging Brooke's opinion on Isabel dos Santos. She and her mother were...better. It was the safest explanation that Natalia could give without delving deeply into years of repressing emotions and generally not having actual, emotive conversations that had nothing to do with her music career. She didn't bother bringing certain things up and while Isabel notably has been seen trying in these last two years, Natalia just didn't see the point. What's done is done and the fact of the matter is that Nat doesn't take into consideration everything Isabel might want for her anymore, not unless it has something to do with a photo shoot, upcoming performance, or anything publicity related. Even then, she mostly asked for everything to be delegated to Andre. As annoying as he could be, between the two, Andre was more of Nat's handler than her mother ever had been. But that was also her allowing the woman more room in her thoughts when she normally resided nowhere near them, which was why she chose not to say a word and instead, sipped on her rum and coke.

The corners of her mouth did lift, however, so that her face softened notably at Brooke's explanation about her future enhancements to her clothing line. She could help but act playfully appeased, placing a hand over her own heart in mock satisfaction before chuckling just a bit. She could have done without going back to the bar, considering she had only come from there a moment ago, but Nat stood anyway when Brooke decided she wanted a pina colada. Besides, as much as Nat was slurping down the drink in her own hand, a refill was bound to be the next move on her agenda. Or the dance floor. The DJ was spinning a few island vibe tracks that Natalia could feel her joints naturally getting into the mood for as they headed to the bar, hips undulating just-so to the catchy offbeat of reggae music blasting from speakers and pulsing through the ground. Nat hummed to herself faintly at Brooke's indignant hiss in her direction over being ditched by Owen for Rose, since...well, she never did pick apart Brooke's jealousy over Owen and Rose's friendship. Perhaps it was because he was her brother and she didn't really want to know what he could get into with one of her best friends, Nat didn't know. But it was obvious that both were...uncomfortable, if you will, in one another's presence now. Which was far from normal, given their previous intimacy. Then again, Nat hadn't truly picked it apart yet. Just...observed.

While Brooke went ahead and requested her drink, Nat leaned against the bar rather comfortably, using the surface as an arm rest so that she could rest her head on her hand as she sipped her alcohol. A beat later and she was grinning at Brooke. "And don't think you're slick, miss. Since some people like to abandon their friends and move across the country, you owe me a dance tonight. Actually, a bunch of dances." Nat was only half serious, but she wasn't against dragging Brooke to the dance floor. And if she happened to get the benefit of both seeing her friend dance and the girl actually have some fun, well, where's the problem in that? "You might go home in August or July, but until then, you're mine, Miss Rockefeller. Just wait until you finish that drink." It was only after she finished speaking that Nat turned her gaze for a second only to see Kylie and Haven appear. Nat dipped her chin in acknowledgement to the other girl before smirking at her sister. She didn't even flinch at the lash against her skin the gentle pull of the strap gave her, but she did raise an eyebrow at Kylie as if challenged. "How else am I gonna drive Owen crazy enough to make him want to leave the house for longer than an hour? You know his temper tantrums can go." She ended up saying, swiping a hand through her still damp hair. "Do what you will...just don't do anything I wouldn't." Which, if they were being honest, given her track record, wasn't much. But still, Nat couldn't help but say it with a small smirk.

With his arm still around Bella's shoulders, Andre didn't allow his gaze to drift to where Brooke was. For one, there was no doubt that Nat was with her. If the songstress wasn't with Valen, whom he had yet to see, or He Who Shall Not Be Named, then she was going to be with her favorite of the Rockefellers. And Andre didn't need to entertain his thin patience with his sister's insistence to try him. Two, because he knew Bella. Her and Brooke's relationship was strained for years and it was the first thing Andre picked up when they moved to California. Natalia had pointed it out when she had gotten him alone, but it was Andre who was able to understand just a bit better. At least, from Bella's side of things. So, instead of turning to acknowledge his girlfriend's sister and his own sister, Andre squeezed Bella's shoulder gently, in comfort, as he answered Owen.

"Nothing I'm not already familiar with," he acknowledged, his understanding for Owen's frustration with their siblings prolific and inexorable. Andre hadn't had the chance to talk or see much of Kylie today, but he had given her a warning yesterday about behaving. Nat was only slightly starting to rub off on her. Kylie was beginning to take on her stoicism. "But...we're-we're good here. I know I could eat though." He exclaimed jokingly, to keep up at least the less tense air that had been present before Brooke came over. But then Owen had to mention her. And well, Chris, and since Andre hardly allowed Chris to sour his mood to a certain point, he had to reason that the true cause of Bella's outburst was simply about Brooke.

Andre had to drink a bit of his rum and coke before speaking, but he rubbed Bella's arm soothingly as he did so. "This is going to be good, babe. You know that," he reasoned. "It'll be time for you and Brooke and even Chris to catch up, and come on! Nat's actually home and not running off to god knows where, I took off for awhile, and we're all going to have a good time. Besides, how much drama do you really think anyone's going to want to have if we're too busy jet-setting off to Croatia or something?" Of course, that was his disingenuous optimism showing. There was going to be drama. Especially since Nat was already not in the mood to acquiesce to his request for her to behave, Chris was going to actually be in his house, and Kylie and Haven were more than likely going to drive them all crazy. At the same time, this summer was meant to be for fun and damn it, Andre promised himself that he was going to have the time to enjoy himself. And that included no breakdowns because his family and friends decided to drive him crazy.

Brooke immediately reached over to the alcoholic beverage when the bartender set it down before her. Her pink lips went around the straw as she took a few sips, just to be interrupted by Rose making her presence known to Brooke. Of course Brooke already knew he sister was in the area, but Rose just had to be sure Brooke knew. The two of them always seemed to have that bit of unsaid competition between the two of them. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to try and find some time to spend with Rose alone, try to at least go back to acting sister-like instead of worse enemies. After all, it wouldn't hurt. She glanced over to the twin and gave her a fake smile before returning her attention back over to Natalia to hear her talking about "abandoning" her. Brooke sighed and nodded her head at her best friend's words. The brunette understood where she was coming from, so of course she would spend most of her time with Natalia. After all, if it weren't for Natalia she wouldn't have come back to Beverly Hills this summer.

The female sighed when she noticed Haven making her way over with Kylie at her side. Now Brooke would never go as far as to say she hated Natalia's sister, but she was never the biggest fan either. The female just couldn't seem to stand the snarky comments that always seemed to be pointed in Brooke's direction when the Jenner was around. Haven on the other hand, the two of them have worked together a lot in the past and eventually became pretty good friends. At least in the professional aspect. The two of them never really spent very much time together outside of the fashion industry.

Brooke ignored Kylie's intention on making her feel irrelevant and directed her words towards the blonde. "Good to see you again, Haven. How have you been?" she stated as she sipped from her pina colada once more. When Brooke overheard the words that slipped from Kylie's lips, she had a feeling the two of them would most likely get themselves into some sort of trouble but that was none of Brooke's business. It kind of upset her that Haven was friends with Kylie, but there was nothing she could ever do or say about it. Just because she was never all that fond of Kylie, it didn't mean that Brooke had the right to tell Haven who she could and couldn't be friends with. After all, the two of them weren't even close enough to have that bond, not that it would matter either way anyways.

As usual, the Bautista’s were running late. The siblings had spent the previous few weeks together with their father in their home in Argentina. It had been lush with towers of libations, delicate gourmet treats and latin passion. Even with a majority of her time spent covering for Santi as he trooped around with the Ambassador, Valen managed to find a good time - be it with the equally privileged and reckless youth among Argentine most elite, or in shamelessly flirting with her fathers friends. Valen didn’t mind babysitting anyhow, carelessness and fun was a luxury she could only admire from afar.

Their family had their own jet, so when Valen woke up puffy from the champagne and Santi still hadn’t washed off the shame from the night before, the siblings decided to postpone. Besides, they liked to be a little fashionably late - it helped with their image. So the two tore apart their luggage to have their travel assistant repack later in search for their outfit for the party. Neither of the siblings had been in the States for months, and every time they came back it was like everything would change.

“I’ll choose your outfit.” Said Valen as she rummaged through Santi’s things, throwing a maroon pair of swim trunks his way and a soft plain white tee. Santi didn’t mind, Valen was the fashionista between the two of him. He probably would have worn the first pair he found, so he changed without objection and returned to scrolling through Instagram.

“Hey look,” He said, showing Valen his phone. It was a photo by some model, maybe Stephanie something or other. It was at the pool party the siblings were to enter, Valen squinted to recognize the faces in the background. When she saw Nat’s exotic face posted at the bar, a smile split across her face, then she recognized the entire Rockefeller clan. Predicting this would happen, Santi laughed. “What? Now you’re going to be on your best behavior?”

Valen mumbled under her breath, returning to her mission to pick out her outfit. It wasn’t that she didn’t like the Rockefeller’s, but when they were revered as this golden family and Valen could tell the lot of the weren’t her biggest fan - it made things uncomfortable. Her family and friends were better known for hanging out in the seedier part of fame, Valen couldn’t help but to feel a twinge of inferiority in their presence.
A voice overhead announced they would land within the hour, Valen turned their travel assistant their father had assigned to them. “Carajo, Florencia - donde estás mis trajes de baño? Como puedo ir a la fiesta de piscina sin mi trajes?” Valen spit out the words like venom, she had the tendency to take her frustrations out on the poor people her father sent to babysit her and her brother. “Por la concha de su madre, Florencia - hacé su trabajo mientras que lo tienes. Con suerte hay poco tiempo con eso si yo tengo un parte.”

Florencia offered little of a reaction as she reached into the travel bag that Valen had left untouched so far, opening it to reveal a whole assortment of swimwear for Valen to wear. A smug expression from the woman and Santi laughing from behind her was enough to send Valen into a fit, taking the carry on into the bathroom with her. Santi looked at Florencia from over his phone, quirking his eyebrow. She gave a cheeky expression and returned to her tablet, undoubtedly planning out any foreseeable chaos that the siblings might cause the upcoming week. She was helpful that way. Valen returned before the plane began to descend, fashioning her swimsuit as a leotard with destroyed high rise shorts and a lacy kimono.

“Really have to balance that line between looking good but not looking like you had to try that hard.” Santi joked as Valen snarled at him, bending over to fasten the clasp of the heel around her ankle. The bump of the plan hitting ground stopped Valen from replying, instead they primped themselves. “Florence, will there be transit from the Airport already arranged?” Santi asked, Florencia nodded.

“Right on the ground, sir.”

“Very good.” Valen said as she smoothed her hair.

The siblings could avoid customs and all that due to their diplomatic status, also due to simply who they were. They left for the party from the plane, Valen’s noticed a text from Nat. Wincing, Valen responded quickly, she hated leaving Nat alone to deal with people - there were so few left with likable attributes.

To Nat:
Hey bb, be there in a bit. Still on ARG time.

It was always better to arrive to a party later anyhow, especially after 9 hours of napping and drinking mimosas on a private jet before hand. When they arrived to the home, everything was already in full scale. Santi immediately was pulled aside by a past fling of his, a skinny morena with honey colored eyes. Valen rolled her eyes inwardly, Santi always needed to have the most interesting characters as a notch on his headboard. Assuming most of her people would be at the bar, Valen was none to surprised when she saw Haven and Nat at the bar - along with Kylie, the Rockefeller girls, Andres and Owen. She smiled to herself at the incestuously knit little web between the families, it was only inevitable to find themselves all together.

“Neña!!” Valen greeted Nat affectionately with a hug and a peck on her cheek. “Why does it have to be like a chase around the world for me to find some time with you nowadays?!” Unfortunately, due to Valen’s culture growing up, she couldn’t sneak away from the group without another word - she had to greet each of them with a kiss on the cheek and a small greeting.

“Ladies! So nice to see you here.” She said, giving them both a peck on the cheek, doing the same to Andres and Own, “You two as well, gentlemen - always a pleasure.”

She gave Haven a little hug, “Don’t worry, I’m not here to ruin the party - I promise.” then turning to Kylie as well to peck her cheek. “Baby girl - hey! Is Kendall here as well?”

She hated it, but there was no way she was going to walk up without saying hello to anyone, it was against her nature - friendly or otherwise. Before she hadn’t had time to read the situation before she barged in, now in retrospect she could sense the tension. Looking to Nat with an expression of both amusement and exasperation, she turned to the bartender. “How about a round of shots - yeah? Vamos, my treat.” She said cheekily, aware it was an open bar. Although she knew this did nothing to deflect the opinion many had of her as a party girl or whatever - she didn’t care anymore. There was no sense in worrying of trying to convince people they’re wrong about something that isn’t their business anyhow.

“So, shots?”
She asked again, grinning to Haven, Kylie and Nat - assuming at the very least she had those girls to join her.

Haven returned the nod of a greeting that Nat gave her, and offered Brooke a quick wave too. "Hey girlie! I've never been better," she said with a playful smile, raising the drink in her hand. "What about you? Prepping for Fashion Week in September?" She had no problems with either of the girls, and socialized with the both of them fairly regularly, but not in a very intimate way. With Brooke, their interactions tended to revolve around work, and with Nat, it was primarily play time, when they socialized, but them hanging out was often more coincidental, than planned. They weren't the type to plan to meet up at clubs or venues, because they just weren't that close, but if it happened, they were content with tossing back a few shots together and posing for some pictures. Because of that alone, Haven liked Natalia. She seemed easygoing, and easy to have fun with, and Haven was quite happy with just leaving their relationship at that depth level. It was probably best that way, because then there were no weird feelings with Haven pulling Kylie into some scandalous situations, since the two of them weren't close enough where Haven felt like she owed Nat anything related to boundaries there. When the singer agreed that she would cover for Kylie, Haven's grin widened, but she was already halfway through ordering herself a California Iced Tea, to match Kylie's, so she didn't comment on it automatically. Her drink now still had at least a quarter of it left, but it tasted too non-alcoholic, and she didn't want to waste time on something that now tasted only of a mixer. When the drink was ready, she left the old one on the counter and refocused her attention on socializing.

Valen's arrival, and the way she had greeted both sets of the group, had somehow physically caused the two sets to drift closer together in the greetings, so Haven had a better view now, of Ariana, who seemed to storm off after Valen's arrival. It wasn't too alarming to Haven, who really didn't care about Ariana at all, but it wasn't difficult to notice it. She wondered what was up with it, for only half a minute, before mentally shrugging. Ariana's disappearance gave her a better view of Own and Andre, and that wasn't something Haven was going to complain about. "If I can get Kylie to live a little, we might go find Kendall later. You should come, I feel like I haven't actually hung out with you in ages," she said, jumping in to answer for Kylie when Valen brought up Kendall. "I'll do a round, but only if they're tequila," Haven agreed, a devilish tinge tainting her smile. Most people found tequila to be the most interesting of liquor choices, and Haven was no exception, finding the "one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor" saying, to be more than accurate on more occasions than she would actually admit to. "Kylie, you're taking one too," she asserted, as if it wasn't optional, before glancing at Nat and Brooke. "Tell me that you two are game, too. I know you can do shots, Nat," she said, faintly laughing at a flashback, before looking towards Brooke more directly, "But you... well, you still have to prove yourself to me on this front, Miss Brooke! Take one with us!"

Brooke was glad to hear that Haven was doing alright, though the moment the blonde brought up fashion week, she got a bit excited. "What about you? Prepping for Fashion Week in September?" Brooke gave a smile as she responded, "Very. I've been working on a new line I hope will be ready before fashion week begins." The female stood there in silence as the other three girls went on talking among themselves. It was true Brooke was always more of an observer than a conversationalist, but that never seemed to bother her. At times in the past it seemed to make Natalia worry about her a bit, but that was just the way Brooke has always been. Rose was always the more charismatic out of the two of them. Brooke liked her privacy and she didn't see anything wrong with that.

When Valen made her appearance, she was a bit shocked that she even acknowledged her. The two of them weren't exactly enemies, because Brooke never really hated the Bautista, the two of them just had a rocky relationship was all. Mainly because of Valen's relations with her older brother, Christopher. At that moment she began to wonder where he was, but it didn't seem to bother her all that much because it was typical of Christopher to run late to events such as this.

The moment the subject of shots was brought up, she was practically ambushed by Haven to join them. Now Brooke isn't against having shots and taking in a bunch of alcohol, but in the past a few things were brought up that she would rather keep to herself. When she got too much alcohol in her system, there was no telling what Brooke would end up doing or saying to anyone. Any person in the area could be the next victim of Brooke's words or even violence. Hopefully Brooke wouldn't freak out like she did in the past. Maybe she would be able to keep herself under control more now that she is older.

"But you... well, you still have to prove yourself to me on this front, Miss Brooke! Take one with us!" Brooke stood there for a moment in silence giving it a thought before answering, "Of course. Why not? After all you only live once, right?" she stated with a chuckle.

Valen smirked as Bella threw a fit in her arrival, protesting Valen’s greeting and storming off - expecting the rest of her group to scurry after her. “Te lo juro, neña - no quiero tocar vos mas que es necessario.” She mumbled under her breath, waving as she smiled after the woman. “Caio, amor!”
Quirking an eyebrow at the boys left behind, Valen’s lips pulled into a sensuous smirk. “I’d probably run after her if I were you, wouldn’t want the darling all upset because lil’ ol’ me ruined her good time!”

Valen couldn’t pretend not to understand the immediate rejection from the Rockefeller golden girl. It wasn’t like powerful WASP families to relay sensitivity to a culture other than her own. It almost empowered Valen when the dark haired minx slinked away. Valen knew that her mere presence could send the woman into a rage - it was downright delightful. Despite Bella’s attachment to Chris, Valen paid no note of such care to find Bella immune to her Valen’s forms of manipulation to start a rise. All she ever had to do was be polite, be herself - and it could drive the primmest of all the Holywood maidens into a frenzy.

Albeit, she felt a sense of responsibility to Bella. Valen ignored the spoiled girls plight for attention. turning to the rest of the group as Have cheered on the lot. “Tequila or no, I just want something to settle this weird plane buzz I’ve got going on.” She hailed the bartender to serve each of the partakers their drink. “Add a rum and diet to that, please.” Valen said with a wink, passing out the shots to the others.

“Cheers.” Valen enthused, grabbing her cocktail from the bartender, already bored with the situation. It was time for a new place, with a new collection of people. “I don’t know about you ladies, but I see endless mystery ahead - I hope you join in.”

Typical in her fashion, Valen slinked into the crowd, hoping some of the girls would follow her - but mostly following the tide. These were the type of moments where she’d happen across Lenny Kravitz or Leonardo DiCaprio - in the drift of parties. That’s what they were all doing there anyhow, networking as much as they could. Everyone knew someone who knew someone who had some project you’d be perfect for. So that’s what Valen did. She made herself known to the people she wanted to know and somehow ended up at the edge of the pool, spliff in hand and staring off into the distance. There were a few others wading in the edges of the pool. it was all to tempting.

Slipping from her shorts and kimono, Valen slid into the heated pool, retiring the spiff in her wake. Treading water, looking above, Valen knew others would see her and judge, but honestly she just wanted to take a dip in the pool. As someone in her position, when everything she did was a question of her character, why not just do whatever the fuck you wanted anyways? She waded in the center of the pool for ages until the herds of people began to dive in, clothed or otherwise. In a predictable manner, Valen waded to the edge of the pool, sitting in the corner with her legs still immersed and hair slicked away from her face.

Lately, it hadn't been as rare as it had years ago, but Nat and Kylie getting along was definitely something that Kylie wished Owen was there to witness. He was the one who liked to dramatize any bit of conflict into the family, as if Nat wearing that bathing suit was an attempt at her tearing the family apart, or Kylie making some remark about one of Nat's songs was as horrible as her ordering a hit on her sister. At the same time, him being there to hear their conversation wouldn't have been ideal for her, so she just appreciated the moment on her own, making an attempt at reminding herself that this was why she needed to be nicer to Nat. She was nice to her (usually), but there were times (even if Kylie wouldn't admit it), that she was a brat just for the sake of being a brat. Her thirteen-year-old sense would reappear, and she would be unnecessarily sharp with her step family, usually only because her mother had gotten further than Kylie normally allowed, on that particular day. It was something that she was still learning to fight, honestly, and this recent family drama wasn't making it any easier. She nodded at Nat's catch, that she just only not do anything that Nat wouldn't do, which didn't feel restrictive at all, considering what Nat was known for. Kylie knew that a night out with Haven was going to spell trouble, but she wasn't feeling too reckless tonight. She didn't want any more public drama than she already had, and leaving the party early would be enough private drama to piss off Owen and Andre, for her liking.

Kylie probably would have declined the shot invite that came upon Valen's appearance, but Haven insisted, and so, she felt inclined to take one too. Normally, even if the tequila was top-shelf like this was, Kylie would have wanted to undergo the whole salt-tequila-lime routine, just because she struggled with tolerating tequila's taste, smooth or not. However, this liquor was smooth enough that they probably didn't expect them to need it with it, so when Kylie's came to her, she didn't wait to see if Nat or Brooke were going to take one too, and just tilted her head back, and poured it down her throat. The aftermath involved a little bit of coughing, as the liquor burned her throat as expected, but it all stayed down, which was something that she was proud of. Straight liquor wasn't her thing, and she knew she needed to stick to mixed drinks for the rest of the night. The California version of the Long Island Iced Tea probably wasn't the smartest mixed drink choice, considering that it contained curacao liqueur, rum, tequila, gin and vodka, but she had already ordered it, and she wasn't going to waste it. Besides, it didn't taste nearly half as bad as the shot had.

"Are you really going to stay here all night?" Kylie said, turning back to Nat, somewhat skeptically, after her empty shot glass had been taken by the bartender. She knew that this party at their house was actually going to be a lot of fun, and was probably one of, if not the, most star studded party of the holiday, but she expected Nat to be a little rebellious too. And she didn't trust that her sister wasn't holding out on better plans, that she would want to sneak out to too, over wherever Haven was going to take her. Then again, if she planned on bringing Brooke, the party was probably automatically going to be a dud, so maybe she wouldn't want to go after all.

Natalia had honestly focused on drinking the rest of her rum and coke, so she had ignored her phone when it vibrated in her hand. It could have been Chris and she honestly would have left it alone until her next drink. Besides, she was too busy internally laughing - and the only outward indication of her internal disposition was in the form of a smirk - at how absolved Kylie was in her desire to remain passive-aggressively hostile towards Brooke. The pair's relationship was always amusing to her and Nat, because she never claimed to have a single ounce of good in her, entertained herself whenever it just so happened that she managed to get both girls into one room for longer than five minutes. As much as she liked a drama-free and relaxed environment, it was Natalia dos Santos. It wouldn't be her if she wasn't drawn to a little bit of mischief.

And she wasn't too upset about not having checked her phone because Valen had finally arrived and Nat didn't even try to evade the hug, comfortably leaning into it and pecking Val on the cheek in response. "Come on now, babe. You know I've gotta keep you on your toes. That's how we work," she replied with a grin, not at all ready to turn down a round of shots when Valen called for them. She smirked at Haven's reminiscent look her way, remembering this one time when she had done five shots back to back. Not that she had actually counted, but it had been an exhilarating rush at the time and the world might have tipped over for like five seconds after the last one, but it was totally worth it when it felt like her body could go for hours and hours on the dance floor. But she wasn't going to be bringing that memory up. It seemed like Andre had super hearing or something every single time she did, and he always came running with that disapproving glare. Nat chuckled at Brooke's exclamation of only living once and downed the shot she was given without hesitation, barely wincing anymore at the way the smooth liquid tingled in her throat. It didn't burn like it used to during her first ride in the drinking rodeo, which was why she couldn't help just laughing a little at Kylie's obviously inexperienced drink.

Not that her younger sister needed to be gaining any experience at all, but Nat also wasn't going to be the one to take the fun out of everything. "Fill me up, babe," Nat called to the bartender and set her glass on the flat surface, turning back when Val decided to disappear and Kylie had turned back to her. Nat hummed to herself softly at Kylie's question, doubting that she was going to tell the girl all of her invites for the evening. There were some places even Nat knew not to tell Kylie about and besides, she was not about to have Andre and Owen down her throat for Kylie knowing about underground parties with people wearing far less clothing than what Nat currently had on. "You know me, Kyles. There's always a back-up." She chose ominously, running a hand through her hair and checking on her phone. "I'll let you know if anything comes up." As she waited for her drink and to figure out if she was going to the dance floor next, Nat text Chris. If she was making any plans for the night, he of all people was going to be a part of it.

Chris:
Where u at babe? Who else am I gonna do body shots wit?

"Babe, you didn't really think we were staying in Twinkle Town all summer did you?" Andre just had to ask with a grin, a subtly appreciative nod Owen's way for diverting Bella's attention. The last thing he needed was her focusing on the negative, particularly as they pertained to her siblings. As far as he knew, Nat had Brooke and could distract her easily. All she had to do was get Brooke focused on her wardrobe and honestly letting loose, or even flirting with her - which was still something Andre figured he needed to question his sister about in terms of her intentions - and the younger Rockefeller was golden. A few scathing looks aside, he didn't think Brooke would be as much of a problem as Bella seemed to believe. Chris on the other hand, Andre just didn't trust him. Andre also didn't like him, but that was neither here nor there. All they needed to be thinking about was having fun. The other...issues could take a backseat. Besides, who was going to really be trying to rip baby hairs out of scalps if they were too busy sipping on mimosas at breakfast in Nice?

But of course, that must have been him being just a bit too optimistic. Andre was a realist; he didn't focus too much on trying to think happy thoughts and all of that. But he also didn't believe in things like allowing one person to notably get under your skin. With Chris, he was able to either play it cordially for the sake of his girls or go on as if Chris wasn't even a factor in his life. Which he wasn't, under most circumstances. However, Bella was a bit more malleable, it seemed, when it came to Valen. The second the svelte artist came into view and showered everyone in a polite display of affection, Bella was shoving away from her and storming off, a wave of barely restrained hostility that had Andre pinching the bridge of his nose. And Val didn't help, no matter the small soft smile curved upon his lips that he managed her way, with telling him to go after her. Sighing softly, exasperated internally, he glanced at Owen. "Wish me luck," he said to Owen, taking a strong drink of his rum and coke, clapping his brother on the shoulder before glancing at Natalia, who only raised an eyebrow from afar. Shaking his head, Andre headed back towards the house, shaking a few hands with clients and partners alike.

It didn't take Andre long to find Bella, petulantly munching on strawberries with a vehement hostility in her form where she stood. One of his eyebrows rose, questioning, as he headed over to her. He gave her a pointedly probing stare as he inquired, "You do know that the real food is going to be outside, yes? I mean," he stepped closer to her, purposefully not bringing up her display from outside, in favor of wrapping inconspicuous arms around her waist so that her back was pressed against his front comfortably, "strawberries are nice and sweet, but there's also going to be seared scallops in a jalapeno vinaigrette and pan-seared salmon in a brown butter sauce." Andre smirked at himself for using Bella's love for seafood against her, but it was also his way of getting her to talk and also not hide away from Valen just because she obviously didn't like her. It would mean there was no point of them all being together for the summer if she couldn't handle the girl's presence; she wasn't going anywhere, after all. "Are we really going to hide away for the rest of the day, babe? Because of Val?"

Brooke reached for the shot glass and tossed her head back allowing the room temperature liquid to go down her throat. The burning sensation was one that she was quite used to, given her experience back in New York with the alcohol. That was one thing she was going to try to keep to herself. Most of the time when she was alone, she resorted to drinking, mainly because she had nothing better to do. The female set the glass down on the bar and signaled for the bartender to give her a refill before taking that shot as well. At that moment she figured she would find herself a permanent spot at the bar, at least for the next few minutes and took a seat on one of the bar stools.

The female let out a sigh as she sipped from her pina colada and listened to the conversation going on between Nat, Kylie, and Haven. Deep down Brooke hoped that Kylie would just go ahead and go somewhere else. She didn't care where, just nowhere near her. The young Jenner hadn't even been in close proximity to Brooke for more than five minutes and her presence was already beginning to upset her. But she wasn't going to give Kylie the pride in causing a Rockefeller to just walk away from her within five minutes. So instead Brooke began to glance around the area, taking in the faces she knew and the ones she didn't.

The female began to hum to the song that was now playing before finally deciding to stand to her feet and walk away. It may not be what she wanted, but putting herself through the annoyance of being around Kylie really wasn't something she was in the mood for. Especially given the fact that the brunette now had alcohol running through her system. Today of all days she wanted to keep herself as calm and collected as possible. If she were going to blow up at anyone, she at least wanted to wait until tomorrow. Right now, all the Rockefeller was focused on was having a bit of fun in her life, something that she hasn't done in a while.

After a few minutes of walking through the crowd and mingling with a few people who stopped her, she finally made it over to the hot tub and slowly stepped into it. The slight sting of the heated water made all of her stress slowly dissipate and become obsolete. Brooke took a seat in the hot tub and let out a relaxing sigh as she closed her eyes and began to sip from her alcoholic beverage once more. Maybe all she needed was a bit of space.

Haven's Outfit
"There we go! That's the motto!" Haven agreed enthusiastically when Brooke agreed to take the shot, citing the "yolo" motto as a reasoning. She could relate to Brooke prepping for Fashion Week. Her preparation was definitely a lot more difficult, since she had to create an entire line to hit the runway by September, but Haven was already in the process of signing contracts and figuring out which labels she wanted to walk for during the week long event. In addition to her features in numerous ad campaigns and editorials, and officially becoming a Victoria's Secret Angel this winter, Haven had walked in over 300 runway shows throughout her career so far, so she was pretty experienced in that realm. It benefited her in numerous ways, but one of the major ones was that she was well known by all of the big labels, so she could be more selective on who she walked for, or accept as many offers as her schedule allowed, and increase her own exposure. Unlike many models, though, Haven was also blessed in the sense that if one day she decided that she hated modelling, she would be completely fine, financially, just disappearing from that world, on a minute's notice. She was in it for more than the money however, so it wasn't something she planned on doing soon, but that financial security that she had over others was definitely privileging.

As Nat and Brooke downed theirs, Haven followed suit, and the liquor slid down her throat as if it were nothing sharper than water. Tequila was her liquor of choice, at least when it came to shots, so she didn't have any issues getting a glass of top-shelf tequila down, regardless of the time of the day, or how sober she was. Kylie's response to the liquor made Haven react similarly to Natalia, and it was just a signal to Haven that she really needed to hang around Kylie more, this summer. Someone had to teach this girl how to drink, if she was still coughing on an expensive shot of tequila! "Now that your favorite sister is going to cover your ass, you have no excuse to not come with me tonight. After we eat, we're going, no backing out, babe!" Haven warned, with a playful wag of her finger. After that poor show of skill with the tequila shot, Haven was even more determined to get Kylie really drunk tonight, as if that would somehow "prepare" her for the summer Haven wanted them to have. She was tempted to take a second shot, only because she wanted to challenge Brooke, who had taken a second, to see if she would go for a third too, but the California Iced Tea in her hand hadn't even been sipped yet. Plus, she saw that some people were moving out of the bar area and back to the main lawns, which was a pretty good cue that the food was starting to be put out. Haven wasn't starving, though she definitely planned on eating, but her motivation for wanting to get over to that area was more so based on her wanting to eat so that they could move on to the next party. She had gotten an Instagram picture out of this one earlier on, so her presence would be felt on social media, and now she was ready for the next adventure. Finding out that Christopher had arrived had the potential to change that craving to leave, since Chris tended to bring the party wherever he was anyway, but for now, she was still set on leaving after dinner. "And it looks like it's just about time to eat! Perfect timing!" Haven exclaimed, nodding to the people heading towards the lawn. She used her free hand to grab Kylie by the wrist, and gave her a slight tug away from the bar, before turning back to Natalia and Brooke, with them being her second thought. "Find us before we leave, girlies! And don't you two stick around this bar for much longer! Taking more shots when I'm not around is totally cheating in our now-established competition to get wasted tonight!" she informed them, a playful stern glance being added for the effect, before she continued to tug Kylie towards the lawn that the food tables were lined up on.

Kylie was happy with herself for being able to completely ignore Brooke's presence. The girl was just so lackluster, that tonight, it wasn't worth even hitting her with some below-the-belt comment. She wasn't worth it, even if Kylie was very tempted to jump into the conversation about fashion week and advise Haven that unless she wanted her career to plummet, she should never walk for any of Brooke's tacky clothing lines again. Despite her appreciating her sister's willingness to cover for her later on, Kylie couldn't resist returning to their more typical relationship, just for a minute. If anything, she would reason that Natalia's laugh that was definitely directed in her reaction to the tequila warranted it. "Or I could always just watch Chris' snapchats. I'm sure you'll end up wherever he is tonight, right?" she answered, a half-smirk fitting her face as she watched her sister glance at her phone.

Kylie had no right to tease Natalia about Chris, when it came down to it, because Nat and CJ were actual friends. They hung out frequently, or at least "frequently" in respect to how busy both of their schedules were. As far as Kylie was aware, the two had never actually hooked up, but the rumor mill hadn't ceased, in years, about them hooking up, or being spotted leaving clubs and hotels together. The comment was made, in part, to be annoying, a little, in the sense that she was acting as if she agreed with those rumors, that Chris and Nat were obsessed with each other in more of a friend way, but also to signal that she was watching... because when it came to Kylie, she had far less of a reason to be infatuated with Christopher, and yet, she was. It had been a recent infatuation, really, since growing up, he had always just been one of Owen's annoying friends. It wasn't like he hadn't been attractive back then, but the age difference had somehow seemed larger when she was underage. Last summer, when she turned eighteen, had been around the time that Christopher had started shaping up too, and could be found at the house more with Owen, rather than him just hanging out with Nat, so Kylie began to see him more often as well, too. She hadn't actually seen Christopher in at least a month, so living with him this summer was definitely something that she was looking forward to. She wasn't bold or delusional enough to think that she was going to have a summer romance with someone who already had far too many ties in this house, but that wasn't enough to destroy the crush she had on him.

When Haven yanked her away from the bar, Kylie barely had time to grab her drink, which she had set down while taking the shot, nonetheless leave Nat with any further parting remarks. She was glad that it was finally time to eat, and was going to take her time doing so, too. For one, she knew that the array of barbecue and seafood that was being served was going to be impeccable. Secondly, she actually wanted some food in her stomach so that that shot, and this California Iced Tea in her hand, weren't enough to leave her head spinning before the night even started, and additionally, she didn't want to leave just yet, and she was sure that as soon as their plates were clean, Haven was going to insist that they go. Kylie wasn't opposed to going, knowing that Nat would hopefully still cover for her, and also not caring about her brothers' reactions at the moment. On top of that, she had a feeling that regardless of how many attractive and eligible bachelors there were at this party, Haven was going to be obnoxious and continue to try and hit on Owen and Andre in front of her, and she didn't need that tonight.

When she finally got better control over the death grip that Haven had on her arm, Kylie did her best to steer the girl towards the section of tables that held the platters of seafood. When they got there, she noticed Andre and Bella hovering by the front of the table, and since she needed a plate, she headed in that direction with Haven. "No comments about the ineligible bachelor, okay?" Kylie warned, as seriously as she could, given it was Haven who she was talking to, as they headed towards the couple. "Hi," she said simply, once she was close enough to reach in front of them to grab two plates, one of which was handed to Haven. Even though she knew that Haven and Rose didn't really get along, had it just been Rose there and not Rose and Andre, Kylie probably would have wanted to stay to chat with the Rockefeller. She really did like Rose, who stood for beauty and elegance and grace so effortlessly. It was different than the direction that Kylie typically went for, but that didn't take away from Rose being iconic in that sense. She distracted herself with adding a serving of baked Halibut steaks to her plate, as she spoke. "You look pretty, Rose. All white is... daring." She refused to allow her eyes to return to Haven, and was careful to use "daring" over "dangerous", as to not provoke Haven too much, but she though it was just provocative enough to be entertaining, all white maintaining the validity of the compliment.

Rose smiled at Kylie as she approached the front of the table, she chose to specifically ignore Haven's presence, "Hello Kylie," she said while tucking a stray hair behind her ear. She laughed lightly at the idea of her dress being daring. Honestly the dress was sexy, it molded to her body and accented all of her curves, but daring may be a bit far. She considered the dress to be more classy than anything but she was happy to take the compliment anyways, "Thank you Kylie, you look amazing, as always, but blue looks great on you."

"Will you be staying the whole time?" She asked cocking her head to the side, "You're eighteen so I'm sure there's some club or crazy exclusive party that is calling your name." The statement wasn't an accusation or a way to stir up trouble. She just simply knew, as someone that hung out with the Kardashian side of her family regularly, that they had invites to all the exclusive parties throughout the city, especially on holidays.

"We don't get many opportunities to attend parties together, we should attend some of the parties we get invited to this summer as well," She added squeezing Andre's hand "Kylie you should come with to some of them, you should bring Kourtney too, I haven't seen her since I invited her to bridal fashion week with me too. You should bring the whole clan to one of them."

Her stomach rumbled, silently, but it still brought a slight blush to her cheek. She smirked up at Andre, "I'll be right back I'm going to fix both of our plates, well I'm going to have a server fix both of our plates but you can pretend it was adorably domestic if you'd like."

She walked away to where the servers were handing out food and had them fix Andre's plate with the meat option of halibut steak while hers had the fish option of salmon. She set Andre's plate down with hers in the seat next to where his was before she returned to his side. She smiled politely at Kylie and shrugged lightly, "We should eat baby, but you should let me know. Nice to see you Haven as well"She added offhandedly with another polite smile, this one decidedly artificial.

Haven's Outfit
"All right, all right! I'll behave!" Haven insisted, a dramatic sigh of defeat being impossible to withhold, as she continued across the lawn, towards the food tables with Kylie. When the brunette pulled her towards a table that Andre and Bella-Rose were hovering by, Haven wasn't exactly excited, but she didn't pull away either. Normally, the enthusiasm would have been a bit higher, since she wouldn't have just received a warning about flirting with Andre, and she wouldn't be at the start of a summer where she would have to be living with Rose, but that wasn't the case right now. So, she tried to refrain from being too catty, but as Haven would willingly admit, she wasn't the kind of person who was ever the bigger person. "Two wrongs don't make a right" was a concept that she rejected at a very young age, and so, when Rose failed to acknowledge her, Haven ignored her just as well. "Hey Andre," she smiled, doing a good job at keeping the greeting polite, and nothing more. Even when she added in, "Blue totally looks good on you. You should wear it more often," it was said in a casual tone, without her usual flirtatious undertone, as she focused her attention on plating a lobster tail from one of the trays behind them. And the friendly greeting done right, made her feel like she had accomplished something, so she flashed Kylie a look that demanded some sort of praise, before saying, "B-R-B," and walking a few feet away, to a table that held more grilled food. She chose a cheeseburger and an ear of roasted corn to go along with her lobster tail, and though she knew there was no way that she was going to finish all of that, she was going to try. It had all looked so good, that it was too difficult for her to make a smaller selection.

She only had a few seconds, once she returned to where Andre and Kylie stood, before Rose returned, and she used those seconds as wisely as she thought she could. "'Daring' was a nice word choice. It would definitely be unfortunate if pool water got onto that pretty white dress of hers, but I can think of about one hundred other things on those table that would turn that dress from daring to tragic, in a matter of seconds," she commented in a mockingly serious tone, as if she were analyzing the situation, rather than making a light threat about ruining Rose's outfit herself. It wasn't something that Haven would actually do, at least not this sober, and the mere fact that she was speaking about it right in front of Andre, spoke to how she was being nothing short of deviously playful. Haven could be a bitch if she wanted to be, but even she, who was a lot more relaxed than many, knew that in order to do something with truly bad intentions, some degree of secrecy was required. And not dictating those plans to the victim's boyfriend fell into that field.

When Rose returned, Haven told herself that she had one more reason to dislike her. Maybe it was because Haven didn't like the Rockefeller to begin with, that she found it easy to nitpick her flaws, but just from her encounter here, she decided that Rose was "one of those" girlfriends. It was a very biased "observation", but she felt like Rose was obsessed with Andre. Not in the normal way, that people in serious relationships were, though. Was it that difficult for her to let her boyfriend speak with his sister for a few minutes? Was Andre incapable of selecting his own food, that she had to do it for him? She knew him better than himself, to know exactly what he wanted when there was such a large selection of delicacies to be chosen from? She was that girl that was always clinging to their boyfriend, seemingly in fear of anyone else speaking or interacting with them. Rose had the reputation of being the perfect Rockefeller sister, but damn, did she seem insecure about her relationship... Obviously, though, this was coming from Haven's mind... one that wouldn't mind seeing the perfect couple broken up so she could get a bite of out Andre for herself, and also just because she wouldn't mind seeing Rose go through a bit of emotional turmoil. She opted not to respond to Rose's greeting, that she deemed was too little, too late, even though she hadn't made the attempt to greet the girl earlier either, but did look to Kylie and say, "Don't worry, Ky. I'm sure you can have a minute to talk to your brother for a minute, without any interruptions some other day. Or maybe write him a letter. I've heard that Rose gives him five minutes of free time a day, so I'm sure you'll hear back from him in five to seven business days. Let's go eat so we can get out of here," she said, her tone far too casual and cool than it normally was. If both of her hands weren't full with her drink and plate, she would have tugged Kylie away, but all she could do now was nod her head in the direction of the tables that they had sat at earlier. She knew now, that she was just blatantly being petty, since she knew very well that it was very rare for Kylie to actually want to be talking to either of her brothers, but she wanted Rose to realize how clingy she seemed.
