Rowan noted the obvious discomfort on Aria's face the moment Emily was mentioned. Her question, or rather questions, made it obviously that she too had seen the poster. He watched her mess with her hair, which he could only assumed was due to nerves considering she was so ready to eat merely seconds ago. He sighed silently, wishing he hadn't even brought the subject up. But now that it was said and done, he had to clean up after himself. "Yeah, that's been up there for almost a month I think...at this point if something had happened to her the police would have found at least clues." he stated, responding both to Aria's question and Archie;s statements. "So the rumors are probably true." he added in hopes it would easy Aria's nerves. He was thankful to Archie when the guy changed the subject, bringing up something about comic books. Rowan could only assume it was something his roommate and Aria's brother had been chatting about before he and the redhead had gotten there. Whatever the topic, he was glad the attention had been diverted away from the missing classmate. He eyes Aria one last time before focusing his gaze on the food in front of him.
Theo on the other hand, couldn't focus on the food, nor on the conversation going on around him. His head was going in circles not only because of how crowded the cafeteria looked today, but also due to the idea that someone could go missing just like that, without a trace, from such a crowded and highly guarded place. He didn't hear anything else after the mention of a missing girl, at least not until Archie;s voice cut through his thoughts again. "So back to my question on the comic books." Theo blinked, his large brown eyes piercing into Archies as he attempted to connect the guy's statement to what had been happening before Aria and her new friend showed up. Once remembering the conversation, Theo's pink lips morphed into a small 'o' shape as he looked down at his plate. "Ah, well I actually have never read any..." he confesses, choosing to leave out the part about them being taken up with other kids at the foster home. The small boy could feel Aria's eyes on him. He wondered if he looked as nervous as he felt. In the back of his mind Theo knew he would be much more at ease if he just told Aria the truth. He gently bit on his bottom lip, making a mental note to attempt and talk to her that night before going to bed. The sooner the better.
