         Reagan leaped high into the air again and came crashing down and this was it... This blow had defeated Leviathan. He came crashing down and a light shockwave rippled the ground a bit. "We did it..." Reagan said, looking at Leviathan.

"Well done humans and moogle. You've bested me, so I have no choice but to give me my Dragon Shard." Leviathan said and focused all of his energy and transformed into a crystal shard.

Reagan had walked over and picked up the shard. "Water Shard, Leviathan." She then put the shard in his bag with the other shards. "We beat him, I can't believe it."

"You got that right, we should head onwards to Shear, it is closer then Bisga is, let's head there." Arianna said. "By the way, I am Arianna, a Geomancer from Shear." She smiled and greeted everyone. "Shall we be heading on?"

Freija nodded. "I suppose we should, we all deserve a rest." The group then started following Arianna on the path to Shear.

By night the group had reached the port city of Shear.

         Eh shot down....again. I should really stop being so impulsive. Syrik for now shrugged off the rejection, he can always try again later. "Okay...ah." He mumbles to himself while locating his armor.

"First my pants with the boots, then the belt through all the loops, and last is the chest armor along with the helmet. Now we're dressed for combat." A rhyme from his mother he can never shake out of his head when dressing. She never was too good with rhyming but he knew better than to say that.

"Now....where are my weapons..." He scans the room. "Wait a second it was under my armor." It's too early to think for some. He stares at the lance as he picks it up, "Why? There doesn't seem to be anything special." He hits it against the ground lightly, "Well it's time to go! Date or not I still have a friend." He walked into the lobby with an eager smile on his face. "Let's go" Syrik told Hilda.

         "Just....a bit.....further...." Syrik groans. "Oh god!" Shrieks a woman. He doesn't recognize her. "Are you okay!?"

"Y-yes I'm-" then syrik collapsed. Am I dead? Is it over for me? His thoughts as he seemed to float endlessly downward. White all around him, nothing but white as far as the eye could see. Well now what? Is there a reason for me being here? As he had that thought the white soon began to rapidly get consumed by black.

Blurred color began rushing back into his weary eyes. After a few moments of squinting and blinking everything became clear. "Uuuhh where am I?" He groaned. He woke up to find himself stripped of his armor and covered in bandages. "Did that girl help me?" He removed his sheet to lean up, but his pain was far from subsiding convincing to move later. His whole body was sore.

Time to examine the room. What's all in here? I see a desk with papers, an old grandfather clock(might have an elixer), a book case, few pots, a chest, and let's seee....that it? May as well go back to sleep.
As he was drifting off the door was opened revealing an onion knight. A pretty one at that.

The girl ran down to Klein. "Let me help!" She smiled and twirled around and began to chant. "Aqua Rake!" She said, causing her spell to mix in with Klein's doubling the power of it. "Keep it up! The flames are nearly gone!" She said and began focusing more power on her spell.

The amount of water dousing the flames was magnificent. The glimmer of the water on the sun, colliding with the flames was truly a unique sight. About fifteen minutes later, the flames had been eradicated. Klein stood, looking at the girl.

"My name is Leonora. I was coming here to grab something then saw the smoke, so I hurried and saw you battling the flames. I can see you're a Blue Mage as well. Only Blue Mages have access to special magic like this." Leonora said, Klein becoming a bit shocked. "I am quite surprised you found your way here. I assume you're here to meet Bartholus, correct, well, this way." She said, going up the path to a mountain area. Klein and Aurora had followed. Eventually they reached the mountain cottage.

"Quite late for you to be here, but I suppose crime happens at any time." Leonora said as she opened the door to an old man, sitting at a table with a large spell book in front of him. "Master Bartholus, this man wishes to speak with you. He is a Blue Mage."

The man was quite surprised. "A Blue Mage huh? I suppose you came to learn about it. Well. let me tell you about it."
A stood up and pulled out a navy book. "Blue Magic is a rare art, many people aren't born with it, but its amazing power comes at a price. Being able to command the power of gods comes at the price of never being able to go to Heaven or Hell upon death."

Klein was shocked at this. Leonora was too.

"Bartholus, you mean, I will never see the ones I love in Heaven!?" She began to tear up. "I wish I wasn't born with this stupid so called "gift" or should I say, curse!" Leonora cried out.

"Now now child. Blue Magic does have its perks. You have the power many dream of, and those who command the power live longer than most people, and the power of intelligence."

Leonora wiped her eyes. "Is that how you lived to be over 200 Bartholus?"

"Correct. I am also a Blue Mage, but you know that as I taught you everything I know. I am sorry the truth must come out like this."

"I don't think I have ever been more scared of death until now... I guess I have to make the best of this."

Klein, Leonora and Aurora all sat in silence, listening to Bartholus tell the story of Blue Magic and his training Leonora of it. The rain outside showed no sign of letting up.

Arianna walked out, staff in hand. "Arianna Juliet Terrador, but you can just call me Arianna. No need to be formal, I am just your average girl." She walked over to Joseph's side and looked at Fangs. "Hi there little guy." The duo began to walk towards the exit to Bisga. "We will cut through the Wildlands to the Lake. There is no need to detour to Bisga city as Lake Shear has two entrances, just keep an eye out for beasts that roam there... They shouldn't be entirely powerful, I was able to handle them easily." She said as they walked along the path, the stars seeming to guide them through the plains. As Arianna and Joseph walked, Arianna decided to ask a few questions. "So, why are you running?" She asked. "Sorry if this is personal, you don't have to answer." She asked, but felt kind of bad, knowing she could have jeopardized this entire journey.

Soon enough the group had arrived at the plains, Arianna and Joseph looked at the tavern at the town, the roars of the party could be heard from the Wildlands. "My my, what is going on over there?" She wondered. "I don't know, but let's not waste time, I will take you to Shear but that I am afraid is all I can take you." They continued walking, the entrance to the forest was up ahead.

The two entered the forest and the moon could be seen up ahead, but the forest seemed to be much more frightening after sunset. "Geez, this place is eerie, let's get out of here as soon as we can... there is no telling what might be lurking at night here." Arianna kept her staff close, ready to battle should anything be thinking about ambushing them.
