Welcome to the "front lines." In other words the battle between the humans and Demons that takes place in the shadow of modern day society. The Demons have been killing humans for eons but recently the humans made Half-breeds. the Half-breeds are half human, half Demon beings that have physical enhancements that allow them to fight the Demons. The Demons relized the danger and how easy it would be for the Half-breeds to kill the them so they summoned the Shadow Lord, Sebastian. Sebastian called up his army of Shadows to fight the Half-breeds. Dante Valentine is the newest creation by the humans. he is a troubled youth that doesn't talk much and doesn't like violence. His choice is the deciding factor that will chose which side wins in the war. He can be swayed to change teams so somebody beter help him make the decision before it's too late.

The Organization
The Organization has no name. It is simply called the Organization. They created the Half-breeds to combat the semingly endless hord of Demons that were murdering people. The Half-breeds are as uniqe in ability as they are in appearance.

The Ruleing Houses
The Demonic empire is ruled by fifteen Ruling families. Demons have an almost endless variety so it is very hard to categorize them. They fall into general categories.
Chaos Children - Beings of nightmares created to bring you greatest fear to life. There are two Rulling families that are led by Chaos Children.
Imps - Beings of magic. They mainly use tricks to fool the eyes but they are extremely dangerous. There is one Ruling families led by Imps.
Dragos - Beings of strength. They are brutes that aren't known for their intelect. There are two Ruling families led by Dragos.
Razors - Beings of blades. They are master swordsmen. There are three Ruling families led by Razors.
Deaths - Beings of both strength and magic. They are one of the more dangerous Demons. They take the iconic skull and cloak figures. There are no Ruling families led by Deaths because they are mainly solitary.
Fears - Fears are beaing of imense power. They have no real physical forms they only appear as outlines. Fears have two Ruling families.
Gravitos - Gravitos are the second most powerful of the Demons. They use magical weapons that they forge themselves. They have two Ruling families.
Sins - Sins are brainless Demons that act as pawns for the Ruling families. They have no Ruling family.
Hells - Hells are the most powerful type of Demon. They are masters of all combat and have the top three Ruling families of them all. They are in charge of all Demonic affairs.

The Devils
The Devils are a mysterious ancient race of being that is the supposed ancestors of the Demons. They were the creators of the Devil Books, the Incuriatus. They are said to have unlocked the secrets of dimensional time and space.

The Shadows
The Shadows are a new race of being known as anti-beings. For every being in existence there is an anti-being. One can live without the other so it is ok to destroy your own Shadow. They look exactly like their living counterparts only as black as night as though they absorb all of the darkness around them. You can tell when a Shadow is around because yours disappears. Their Lord, Sebastian was once human but he read from one of the Incuriatus and it twisted him and distorted reality creating the Shadows.
