Personality:
{Comical, Hesitant, Timorous, Acquiescent, Respectful, Bashful}

Given Moto's past in a normal middle and high school career, the boy has become morally weak from the countless times he was bullied in said institutions. His timid personality can be visually seen given his figure, which appears to be always on the defensive. With a faint of heart expression always on his face, it's obvious that the effects of his past are long lasting and have carried over into Moto's persona today. Although it may seem that his mentality can shatter like glass in an instant, he's surprisingly durable and has grown used to verbal attacks of the past. He is accepting of others yet can easily abide by their will without protest. Being overly submissive yet polite, he's the perfect 'Yes Man', which was why he was first offered an enrollment at the DWMA under a separate role from Meister. Easily embarrassed and very flexible, the boy shows compassion for those who are close to him. But beside his caring and fragile composure lies the constant lingering feeling of remorse, denial of the past which has molded the present Moto. Regardless of his past, he remains loyal and devoted to those he serves with. Moto has forced himself on an endless campaign to atone for sins which he perceives to be caused by himself.

Hobbies:
Housekeeping - "I live by myself in my apartment, of course I'm proactive. I can't afford a housekeeper, nor am I sufficed with another person rummaging through my belongings."
Reading Manga - "They're not too common in Death City, comics and other media can be found at random vendors. Although it's hard to chain together corresponding series, reading lone chapters is still a great time killer."
Desert Scouting - "Death City is completely surrounded by a desert, and is quite the hassle to travel to. I've managed to become a part of a company which maps out the best possible routes to take from other regions to here. It provides a decent pay, I guess I also helped that I got on my knees and begged for the job. I manage to balance career hours with school and have some time left over for myself."
Task Manager - "Along with my previous enrollment as a Mission Analyst and Director, I sometimes take on sporadic tasks regardless of the pay. It's usually just running errands and other stuff of that sort."
Training - "I'm not the strongest person out there, so I have to keep my fitness and endurance constantly on the ready. I'm proud to say I have ascended to ten pound dumbbells! Wow, I had envisioned that sounding cooler than it actually does. Damn."

Habits:
Lost in Time - Sometimes Moto can be lost in his thoughts when stored memories begin to surface. His whole body tenses up and the outside world is blocked out.
Shirt Policy - Long sleeves everywhere. Within Moto's arsenal of apparel, only long sleeve shirts, hoodies, and jackets can be found. This choice of wear is utilized to conceal the scars on his arms, no matter what time of the year it is. People sometimes gawk at his ability to not break a sweat, even during work hours in the middle of the desert.
Flailing Arms - When caught off guard or out of blatant embarrassment, the boy tends to flail his arms without control or simply throw them into the air, a generic French surrender.

Likes/Loves:
  • Food - "I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a glutton. Just a bit. Though I manage to restrain myself when my wallet begins to feel light."
  • Coffee&Tea - "I work pretty lengthy hours. I requires some form of sustenance. Sometimes I mix the two together, and cause a rip in the space-time continuum."
  • Striving for the Better - "I aim to improve myself, and atone for what I've done. Maybe it's just my oblige to erase my past self."
  • Random Jobs - "In all honesty, I find it interesting to organize peoples' requests on a scale, ranging from notable to utter lethargicness. It's pretty entertaining, actually."
  • Productivity - "Always move forward. That's my quota. The world we live in is pretty cruel. If you stop for a moment, you'll be left behind in everybody's wake."
Dislikes/Hates:
  • Previous memories
  • Sharp Objects
  • Apathy
  • Snow - "I've lived in the desert for my whole life. One time I went to Russia with a couple pairs. I think I legitimately froze my butt off."
  • Strong Combatants - "I'm weak. I've already accepted that."
Strengths:
Perception - "First a guider, now I'm the guided. Let's see if I can mix these two skill trees together."
Combat Experience - "I was deployed with a fireteam during the attack on Arachnophobia. Let's just say, not everybody made it back with their souls intact. I wasn't a meister at the time and was entirely reliant on my fellow students. I continue to fight in memory of those who have fallen."
Small Physique - "A double-edged sword in my opinion. Pros of my figure are that I can get up close and personal, and that I'm a hard to hit target. I'm also quite flexible, you know, able to do full flips and gymnastics. "
Docile Behavior - "I don't start feuds, I leave that to others. I see no reason in making an enemy out of a possible ally."

Weaknesses:
Small Physique - "Like I said, a double-edged sword. I don't have much force behind my punches, and don't even get me started how many times I've been used as a weight in PE."
Easily Flustered - "...B-baka. Don't sneak up on me like that."
Clean Freak - "This is not a weakness! It's an art!"
Swimming - "...I've grown up in Death City. Although there are patches of green and blue around these parts, I've never taken on learning how to swim. Going in a bath tub is hell."

History:
"They say madness can force people to do anything. Anything."

Moto has been a resident of Death City for as long as he could remember. The boy has walked through all of its windy streets and gazed at its distorted and asymmetrical architecture countless times. It was a daily grind, a flat graph from point A to point B without any inclines or declines. Nonchalance was his gluttony, and his life was a repetitive revolution. Never one to voice his opinions, the Japanese boy found himself submitting to others whims without opposition. Although it was a city renowned for molding the finest meister pairs, the boy relented and opted to join an ordinary highschool for those which lacked the aptitude to fight against kishin. Both of his parents constantly traveled, given the fact that they were a meister pair themselves. During every departure the boy was left to fend for himself. Soon enough, he learned to fend for himself in their absence and became self-reliant.

Moto was constantly bullied at his school for his small physique and lacking criteria in masculinity. Even though such a dreary existence, he kept his hopes high and dealt with whatever blows he received. The lanky student pulled good grades and strove to pave a brighter future for himself. At the age of fifteen, he found himself joining a nearly unknown club. Albeit he was the only male member, he never attempted to branch a relationship with any of the others, as he was sufficed with just friendship and shoulders to lean on. For once, he had found others to rely on. Maybe he could place some faith in them rather than himself? By this time he had already taken on a more proactive stance and managed to seize a dual-enrollment. He spent half of his time at the normal institution, meanwhile the other portion was used as a mission analyst at the DWMA. It was obvious he would slowly transition over to a full-time student at Death's academy soon. The boy brought himself to give the club a farewell, yet tragedy struck in correlation with his transfer. With Asura having broken loose, madness ensued across the whole world. There were those who were weak and easily became overburdened with the negative aura. A few week preceding the battle on Arachnophobia did the bad news find its way to Moto. The boy was busy filing papers in a teacher's office when he received a notification from one of his former club member's parents. The whole entire group was found dead on the outskirts of town, under the influence of madness. All of them brought about their untimely demise, leaving the boy alone in the world yet again.

Moto was fell into a turmoil of despair, pity, and harm. He wasn't fully there on the battlefield surrounding Baba Yaga's Castle. The fifteen year old wasn't contempt with the recent events. How could four lives perish just like that, in an instant? It was unfair, cruel, unruly. Yet it was a reminder of the terms of reality, and how it played by nobody's rules but its own. It was a miracle that the boy made it through the warzone unscathed, but some of his fellow students and elders had fallen along the way. It was kind of ironic, how he was an underling of Death himself. Two years later and the boy finally decided to switch from an analyst to a full-fledged meister. Maybe it was out of revenge or out of denial of the past. Regardless of the underlying cause, it was his job to make a change in his pace.

ImageImageImage Mei stood at the bottom of the stairs of DWMA, wondering how she'll get up. "Oh man.." She grumbled and rubbed her head, starting to climb the stairs, knowing she had to get it over with some day. She dragged her bag up with her, wondering how much time it'll take to get up the stairs- And who was the fastest to get up the stairs."Wowzers.. This is going to take awhile.." She mumbled and rubbed her back, already feeling the burn, only after five minutes of these darned stairs."I.Will.Make.it!" Mei groaned and kept walking. Mei stopped for a moment, and took out her headphones and phone from her bag and started to play Human by Krewella.

Is anybody there?
Does anybody care
What I'm feeling?
I wanna disappear
So nobody can hear
Me when I'm screamin'

'Cause I could use a hand sometimes
Yeah, I could use a hand sometimes

They say pain is an illusion
This is just a bruise
And you are just confused
But I am only human
I could use a hand sometimes
I am only human

Mei hummed along to the song, trying to keep her mind off her wobbly knees, and deer like legs- She wasn't very strong, she was more like her weapon form, tall, but skinny. mei stopped to take a breath, as she sat down on the stairs and took a nice look at Death City, her new home. "It looks so small from up here.." Mei sighed, and got back up, almost up the stairs."Cmon.. Mei just run from here.." Mei said to herself, as she used the last bit of her energy to shred up the stairs. As Mei got to the top- TO the very top she collapsed on the ground all of her muscles in pain.

Fumi heard the sounds of clamoring about as she woke up and bumped her head on the shelf above her in the janitor's closet, or as she calls it 'her home.' For years now she had been assistant janitor, living in this closet and training with the janitor to become a top-notch weapon. She grinned and tied her red-bandana in her hair before running out of there and down the long halls, ignoring the photos of previous teachers, famous meisters, and the like. A tiny squeal escaped her lips as she pushed open the main door to look down the stairs at the new sign-ups, they were like her. They were here to learn. Fumi wanted to know who her partner would be. She wondered momentarily. Then sighing she began sprinting down the daunting stairs towards everyone.

Looking about she saw people of many different breeding coming here. It was amazing to see people her age! She was used to the faces of a select few adults working in the Academy. On her way down the steps she passed a girl with headphones in.

"Hello!" Fumi chirped happily as she dashed past the girl. Yeah, Fumi realized she was gonna have to go back up all these steps but for now she wanted to see everyone. She wanted to experience walking up them with the same excitement everyone else had. At the bottom of the steps she puffed out a heavy breath before turning on her heel to face the steps.

"Excelsior!"
Fumi shouted boldly puffing up her chest laughing confidently. Fumi noted while she was pumping herself up for the climb a boy tripped and fell. She gasped a bit but shook her head as he took off toward the top. She placed her left foot on the first step and shivered with anticipation. Fumi had walked up and down these stairs thousands of times but now. . . She was a student.

She began walking up the stairs slowly at first but then as her excitement built her pace increased, until she was practically sprinting up the steps. Once she arrived at the top she stretched and grinned to see the girl with headphones, and a woman who looked very physically tough. Fumi cocked her head to the right slightly and practically sang.

"Hey there! My name is Fumiko Tatchibana, call me Fumi. It's so nice to see you here! I'm sure we'll all become great friends huh?" With that she hugged the other two people whilst giggling. Then releasing them she sighed and turned before walking into the building. She trotted her way down the hall, making her way into the room where introductions were to be made. Inside she saw the boy who had fallen. She skipped over and plopped down next to him.

"Hey there! I saw the spill you took on the stairs, you okay?"

Fumi asked with a little snicker. This was going to be amazing. She was so excited. This was the day her teacher had been telling her about her whole time here. All of it was so amazing to Fumi, nothing else mattered.

'Make sure to trust your gut. If something doesn't feel right it's okay to run.'

'Yes Niichan.'

'And if you don't like your partner don't be afraid to tell someone about it.'

'What ever you say Niichan.'

'And be su-'

'Oisan.' A soft voice drifted down and caused the two siblings to freeze. 'Our little Yua-Chan can take care of herself. The DWMA isn't that scary.'

Daichi sighed and leaned against the wall. 'I know Oba. It's just...' In a flash he moved and wrapped both arms around Yau. He was tall enough to lift her off her feet. 'Imouto is just a child! And she's going off to fight monsters?'

'I'm sixteen Dachi.' Spoke Yua. Though her face was pressed into Dachi's side so it came out more like, 'Immft sifdeen!'

Not noticing his sisters problem Dachi continued holding Yau close to him. 'She's so cute and little and innocent! What if she gets hurt?'

Nariko, who Yua was sure was the nest aunt ever, just calming walked towards the siblings and pried them apart. Yua stumbled to the side and breathed in great gasps of air. She loved her big brother, she really did. But the twenty seven year old didn't know when to quit.

The rest of her family had already said their goodbyes and none of them had been like this. Crying? Yes. That was Yukio. Threating anyone who'd break her heart? Yes. The triplets. Promising to write? That went to her parents.

But Dachi has drove three hours to get here. Yua appreciated it, and in fact she'd probably be really sad to not see him come. But here he was even more clingy then when he moved out five years ago.

He pouted at their aunt and crossed his arms. 'Oh come on. I worry.'

Nariko patted his arm and smiled. 'I know Dachi. But Yua's a big girl. She can handle herself.'

For a few moments Dachi didn't speak and Yua was worried he'd throw a fit. But finally he walked slowly over to Yua and pulled her into a much softer hug.

'Just be safe. I love you Imouto.'

Able to breath this time Yua wrapped her own arms around her brother and grinned. 'I always am Niichan. I love you more.'

They stayed in an embrace for about an moment before Dachi pulled away. 'Right.' He paused a moment to hand her bag over. 'Get going kiddo. You don't wanna be late.'

Taking her bag Yua nodded furiously. 'Okay. Bye Niichan! Bye Oba!' The group shared a wave and with that Yua was off.

Yua knew Death City like the back of her hand. She had spent days walking these streets with Nariko after they first moved her. That, along with the fact her family didn't live that far from the school Yua was at the steps within ten minutes.

She gapsed. 'Wow Yua. That's a lotta steps.....We are so not stopping. Taking it all in one go. HERE WE GO! TEAM YUA!'

She paused to strap her bag to her back, completely obviously to the people staring at her.

'Ready......one....two....THREE!' In a dash Yua took off. She leaped from step to step like a deer, careful to avoid the winded students.

It wasn't until she has 3/4ths of the way up did she start to feel winded. 'Woah....Dang. Okay. Almost there Yua. Keep going. Extra push!'

With refound vigor she sped up and reached the top of the stairs. While most had stopped Yua either didn't or couldn't. She kept going at the same speed towards her class room. There were mutters about first years that followed her but she didn't care.

She was here.

Finally Yua spotted her class room. She burst through the door with a winded yell and skidded to a stop. Unfortunately the laws of the world still worked and Yua didn't exactly stop when she planned to.

She flipped head over, landing in a mix of students and chairs. There was a scuffle but Yua soon erupted from the mess. The students she ran into climbed out and sent her dirty looks though Yau didn't care. She just picked up of the chairs and set it right before standing on it.

Hands on hips she looked out to the class. 'Yua Chieko Takenaka is here!'

Earlier - 5:40 AM

The boy’s breath was coarse in its process of respiration. He wasn’t sure whether he was tired due to the unbearable heat, or blatant exhaustion from walking a mile and a half in such a terrain. It’s already been two years, how couldn’t he be used to the daily grind? He took a few more steps, his feet sinking into the sandy surface with every pace, before letting out a sigh of surrender as he plopped himself of the ground. The teen propped an arm against his forearm and wiped the constantly seeping sweat. During his rest under the painful rays of the sun, he unflipped a map with a plethora of routes and lines sketched onto it with a quickened hand. The boy narrowed his eyes at the sheet of people as he tried to make out his current position. He firmly held it to the pad while the wind blew grains of sand into his face. His throat was dry, his body drenched with sweat, and his eyes shot from sleep deprivation. It had indeed been a tiring and busy two years. In the span of time, he has had to support himself, watch meister pairs leave the school premise and never return, and relive the memories which devotedly haunted him throughout his days of existence. He ran a hand through his hair as he sat there on the sand dune, not wanting to make another move through life. Why did he compel himself to such an emotionally painful lifestyle? The boy was about to continue riding his train of thought before a voice called out to him. ”Oi. Kentono, quit resting on the job. Oh, and catch.”

His boss hissed at him, Moto instantly fixated his head in the man’s direction. ”Wait, wha-..?” He managed to blurt out before a water bottle came flying into his line of sight. The grogginess which once had a tight grasp on the boy quickly dissipated, he traced the trajectory of the plastic container as it arced towards him. Once it came into his reach, Moto caught it in one hand, but instantly fumbled and began to bounce the bottle back and forth. He had an expression of distraught until he finally made a firm grip around the rigid edges of the refreshment, breathing out a sigh of relief and taking a moment to close his eyes out of respite. Moto reopened them soon after and treated himself to his boss’ present. He happily quenched his thirst with the lukewarm liquid, chugging down every last drop. Once he had thoroughly cleansed the plastic of its contents, he capped it and stuffed the bottle into his bag.
”Oh, good morning sir. I was about finished with this route, then I was going to head back to the workpla-” The man held out an opened palm at the boy, swiftly ceasing his chatter with his form of eldership. ”Did you not get enough sleep last night? You’re ususally awake by this time of day, it is pretty late for you. Usually you check in around three and finish your assigned path within the glimpse of an eye. Yet you’ve been out here for the past two hours. I know we’re all used to it, but traveling through the desert without water is just idiotic. So tell me, what’s got ya all shifty?”

Moto could never get used to the accent the man had adopted after moving to Nevada from Moscow. Yet such a man was able to bridge the wide gap between nationalities, and ended up climbing the career ladder to a boss of a routing company. The boy stared at the man with a worried expression, he hesitated before divulging whatever was on his mind. ”Well, we’re getting new students today. Most of them have only trained. It pains me that I won’t see all of their faces by the end of this year.” Moto shifted his sitting a bit, uneasy from reality. ”Yeah, true. You’re starting as full-time meister this year, right? No more of that mission organizer stuff? That’ll be an interesting sight… Well, anyways, let’s pack up and head out back to HQ. You still have to shower and get ready for school. Can’t show up in that.” The boy glanced at the sand-covered poncho and lightly chuckled, then turned his gaze up to the sky. Only now was the sun finally stirring from its slumber, its slumped prongs began to reform their point. By this point, the orange eyelids had only raised a sliver. It was quite the sight to compliment the backdrop of a horizon, a collage of light-colored hues. ”Yeah… An interesting sight indeed.” His voice trailed off before the boy rose to his feet and patted the sand coating off. With a nod of affirmation, the two continued to their workplace.

Later - Who knows what time? Death time? School time?

Moto could never count how many times he walked down these melancholic roads, winding and turning with randomization and sporadic architecture. The boy was now fully awake and had his usually perky expression in play. He straightened his tie as he autonomously walked down the streets, taking the same route he had traversed every morning. At this point it was like being a robot, told to operate off of preset guidance and commands. The bustling sounds of traffic and business had become all but iconic to the boy. Being a resident of Death City for the past seventeen years, he was already used to its boiling climate and… unorthidox structure and appeal. After all, its mere instituting was contradictory. The city revolved around the training of those who would defeat takers of lives, offered an education by none other than death himself. But irony had lost its embarrassment at this point, its metallic sting no longer affected Moto. It had all become a recurring and fluent motion. One lives to die later on. That’s the gist of things. But rather than keeling over and withering away, the boy is ushered on my an unbreakable devotion. To this day, he is unable to deduce whether it is out of remorse or his refusal to be contempt with the past. After losing dear friends from both schools, he has been motivated to continue on their fight, battling in their stead. It wasn’t long before the student arrived at the iconic slew of unneeded steps scaling up to the academy’s courtyard. He had already spotted students gawking at its shining greatness. The boy ran a hand down his neck and massaged the kinks lying beneath his skin. With a sigh Moto ascended the steps, already used to their immense allotment. A boy of his physique would usually be unable to handle such a pain-inducing climb, yet after two years of attendance, he was already used to the routine.

Since it was the first day, by the end of the timespan, Moto would have found himself a partner as per tradition at the DWMA. Already aware of his classroom number and location, he passed through the halls filled with lively students until he found the door into his room. The boy was intending to quietly enter the classroom and disappear within the bleachers, yet a familiar and especially charismatic voice could be from behind the door. Moto let out a sigh before turning the knob and entering the classroom, pushing the door with all of his mass as it creaked forward. His eyes spanned all of its contents within a few moments, isolating the few students which seemed to peak out from the ordinary lots. The boy’s mouth dropped and he leaned back as he watched a pseudo-gymnast flip her way into the seating, and energetically introduced herself as Yua Takenaka. Moto was left speechless, his mind took a few seconds to process what his irises had just taken into account. They then focused on the blonde girl ecstatically talking, the owner of the high-paced voice from prior, sitting in the bleachers while terrorizing a new student. He deeply exhaled as he walked over to the girl and gave her a light chop on the head, ”Hey, tone it down a bit Fumiko. That boy just scaled the climb of his life. Let him catch a breather.” The girl was one of the few students he could joke around with in this childish demeanor, as they were both good and old friends. He glanced at the younger looking lad to her side and gave him a timid smile, ”H-hello, my name is Moto. Oh-, um, Moto Kentono. Rhymes a bit, eh?” He let out an uncomfortable laugh before taking his seat in an unoccupied row, farther to the back from the others. It was a swift retreat, which was tactful yet cowardice at the same time. The boy sighed as he leaned forward on the desk while plopping his messenger bag on the ground. Being a meister was bound to be a new experience.

"Uh, hey. I'm fine, just feel a bit light headed is all. I'm Barry, by the way."

Suddenly, all hell broke loose in the room Barry had chosen to rest in. First off, a girl ran up and sat next to Barry with such beauty and excitement that it made Barry uncomfortable, and a nervous guy with some crazy purple hair joined the conversation. Then, some other girl burst into the room with such speed that when she crashed into a bunch of students and desks it looked like she broke them all. THEN some weirdo with googles and black hair waddled in with this... well... majestic beauty of a woman he didn't deserve. So, Barry guessed it was time to socialize. He got up, slowly to ensure that his knees didn't snap from all that stair climbing. He waddled over to help up some of the students hit by the bullet train that, er, girl caused. However, due to his small stature, he wasn't much of a help.

"Hey, maybe you should look into slowing down when you're running, dude. You, like, almost killed these guys!"

Barry then walked to the front of the room, as the front being the only place at this point not destroyed, and took a seat next to Quarrie. He placed his backpack on the ground, and unzipped it. Taking out a piece of paper to draw on, he began to sketch randomly. He wanted to get to now this beautiful girl. Her eyes, her hair, her strangely voluptuous frame... She seemed incredibly exotic for the place.

Atop her chair throne Yua could see all that came in. First a pair who seemed a little put off at the appearance of herself. The girl especially, who gave her a rather nasty glance. Not fazed Yua just continued to watch all that would walk in.

A boy was next. Purple haired and looking ready to drop. Yua approved of everyone so far. They were intresting.

One who had gotten there before Yua made his way over to her. She rolled her eyes at his comment. 'Looking where I'm going ruins the fun. I wanna be surprised!'

He then made his way to the front of the room. Yua just grinned and shifted in the chair. It made her feel tall. Tall was power. Power was fun.

'Hey you!' Woblining a bit Yua pointed at the girl who seem displeased with her. 'Turn that frown upside down if you wanna send me a look! You should try standing on a chair. It's fu-' As she was speaking Yua tried to stand on one leg. Why? To prove herself the the disappointed girl. Sadly all it did was put all the weight on one side of the chair and now unbalanced Yua slipped off.

She hit the ground with a thud! 'Whoooaaa. Ow.' With a grunt Yua sat up and rubbed her elbow. 'What a rush.' Yua stared at the rubble of the chair. It had taken its last beating. 'Opps! Broke my throne. Oh well.'

Standing it was obvious that Yua hadn't noticed the fact her nose was dropping blood. Instead she picked up a piece of the chair and gazed at it. 'Dang.' She twisted and walked over the the disappointed looker girl. 'See what fun you can have on a chair.....um...What's your name?'

Viena Winters

The silence of the early school day could only last for so long as a variety of students trudged..well some seemingly bounced up the lengthy set of stairs. As she observed them images of animals came to her mind..the first student was a young blonde boy, an infectious energy and determination like a rambunctious horse. Her eyes widened slightly as she noted the injury the boy seemingly brushed off before he..trotted into the building. The second student to arrive was an extremely excited and..as Viena quickly found out affectionate as her body was trapped in an unexpected hug...before the excitable blonde darted away before walking into the building. Straightening out her wrinkled clothes from the assault, Labrador puppy..How unexpected" Viena muttered before her next idea came to mind as a girl with bright orangish-red hair climbed up the steps with vigor..nothing too notable about her actions. Mentally pausing for a moment until an animal came to mind..a fox. The creature was agile, but could be a show-off..her idea was confirmed as a faint exclamation reached her ears barely as the fox announced her arrival.

Already she could see the trouble those three were going to be and school had not even officially started. Her attention returned to the stairs as a pair of students reached the top. The first being, an attractive brunette who immediately began primping herself and shoved past her supposed companion. Rolling her eyes at the action Viena gave a small smirk as she ID'ed the young girl who saw herself as a queen..like a preening peacock. Perhaps she would scream out orders too and demand others wait on her perfectness..what a pain. While her companion had a 'cool' aura about him as well ~Swan~. Well it seemed there would have to be a pecking order established and those two were going to demand to be at top of it so it would seem.

Slowly standing up and stretching to follow the menagerie of students into the building before a shock of purple hair caught her eyes. The owner of said purple hair was distinctly male and despite his small size didn't seem to be winded at all by the steps. Although there was something about his posture that screamed timid to her..~Rabbit~ Viena thought as her mind drifted to her own pet back in L.A. With long floppy ears and a soft brown coat..Mr. Tibbles was all she wished for in a pet..so cute.. A faint blush came to her face as she glanced around hoping no one caught her daydreaming. Rolling her neck around once as her final observation was of the young girl still sprawled on the top set..~Sloth~

The hallways of the academy were buzzing with activity as Viena slowly pieced together the location of her designated classroom. It was only the first day at the academy surely a train wreak wasn't waiting for her behind the classroom door. Oh, how the fates loved to torture her as her eyes widened for a moment as she took in a chaos. A pile-up of desks, some intact and others in pieces with some students already nursing wounds..the result of the Fox judging by the death glares her peers were giving her as well as her elevated position on top of a chair, well was at the top..it now was in pieces. Who was going to foot the bill this time? The Peacock's feathers were clearly ruffled as the brunette was clearly annoyed by the Fox who seemed to now trying to appease her. Meanwhile the Swan seemed to be ignoring the madness around him and kicked back in his chair like it was his own home.

Easing her way past the wreckage, and determined to get even further away from the yipping Puppy and the Horse was neighing at the Peacock..already a crush so it would seem as the faint outline of a picture began appearing as Viena walked past the desks. A faint smile appeared on her face as she eyed the timid little Rabbit already looking drained from all the excitement as Viena sat down in the desk in front of him before muttering "So please tell me you are one of the normal ones here. I doubt I can handle all this all the time..". Her tone was soft, surprisingly given her rougher appearance..then again the easiest way to lure prey was to dangle a carrot of kindness so to speak..

Fumiko watched as everyone filed in. Fumi looked to Moto and winked as to say sorry. Happy to hear the blonde boy was alright she stood as another girl announced herself and then promptly fell off her perch. The girl with red hair was so cute. Not to mention confident. Fumi's eyes narrowed slightly as a soft smile played on her lips. Swaying across the room calmer, more intimidating than before.

"Yua, right?"

Fumi stepped in between Yua and the girl proclaiming to be a Queen. On top of this Moto had come in, Fumi was glad her little buddy had made it. She had been worried he wouldn't make it on time. Refocusing her intentions onto Yua, she was bursting with bravado. Innocent as it may be.

"Best not try and appease her, she thinks she's better than you and that unfortunately won't change. You seem nice, not to mention adorable! I'm Fumiko Tatchibana! Call me Fumi. It's nice to make your acquaintance."

After finishing up what she had to say she embraced the red haired girl and then turned on her heel skipping around the room eying people subtly. Today had been a good so far. . . Barry, he was cool, sort of pathetic in a way but Fumi liked him well enough. Then the Perfects walked in, flaunting about. Then the rough lady stomped in, making her way over to Moto. Mistake. Fumi stopped skipping and stood looking in their direction before narrowing her eyes.

She crossed her arms and cocked out a hip, what was this bear's game? She had read over the registry earlier, this woman was a weapon. "Viena Winters" she was a weapon. Moto was a Meister. . . The thought hit Fumi hard. Moto wasn't going to choose her as his weapon. Whatever. Yua had said she was a Meister. Her huge smile returning Fumi flounced over to Yua again.

"Yua-chan! Hey me again. I heard you say you were a meister? How convenient, I happen to be a weapon! The best there is. Or I like to think so. I'd love to get to know you better!"

Fumi said in her cheery voice wrapping an arm around Yua's waist and leaning on her shoulder with a giggle. She was able to keep her facade up, even with the pang of jealousy she felt about Moto. She pushed it from her mind. Focus on Yua. Laughing softly Fumi twirled Yua's hair around her left index finger. Fumi felt like Yua wasn't the brightest, but she was cute and ambitious. Fumi could work with those things.

Quarrie couldn’t help but glance over her shoulder now and again, her curiosity getting the better of her as some of the students began to move about. One in particular had caught her attention quite easily, a boy who seemed quite short, simply. He approached the odd girl and spoke to her briefly, clearly he seemed to have some sense which the girl lacked, a thought that made Quarrie grin slightly. The boy in question then sat next to observing girl, an action that surprised her a little though mainly due to not knowing the boy, really.

When he began to sketch on a piece of paper Quarrie initially paid him little interest, however it was hard for her to refrain from questioning him, mainly about what he was doing, and who he was. As she was about to say something the weirdo-girl walked over to her, after falling over and literally demolishing the chair she once stood on. Relaxing her shoulders a little, the girl crossed one leg over the other and tucked the ends of her skirt underneath her, before looking to the orange-haired girl. ”Quarrie Higurashi – though to you, Queen. That is what you can call me.”

Another girl emerged and just like the other, rubbed Quarrie the wrong way, though this one more so due to what she said. As if one wasn’t enough, the pair of them was like little kids in comparison to Queen. Quarrie just sighed, not even looking to the blonde girl who seemed to know her so well. ”If that’s how you view me then I won’t jump to change your opinion – I care not for your feelings.” Digging into one of her pockets a moment after Quarrie brought out a small tissue and held it out to the orange-haired girl. ”Your nose is bleeding, you should take this.”

Quarrie then looked to the other boy beside her, the short guy. ”What’s your name?” She asked, tilting her head to the side as she tried to sneak a glance at what he was drawing. He didn’t seem as bad as the girls surprisingly – and she liked that. ”Out of all the people here you chose to sit next to me, well, you must be brave.” A smile formed on her lips as she twirled a strand of hair round her finger, all the while focusing on the boy. He clearly didn’t view her so badly as the others, or maybe he was just oblivious to it. I’m Queen, I’m here to become the best meister that this class will have,” Pausing for a moment, the girl then leaned in more closely to the boy and whispered in his ear, ”But to do that I’m going to have to beat everyone else – which I plan to do.”

Pulling away she sat back properly in her seat, though still looked to the boy. ”What about you?”

Baron paid little attention to everything that went on around him, since not much really interest him, and he was sort-of asleep too! However, when he heard some girl speak up so rudely, he opened his eyes and saw a blonde girl talking bad of Quarrie to the other, odd girl. Standing up, though trying to not seem too intimidating, Baron looked at the girls though he didn’t look overly impressed. ”That’s a bit hypocritical you know, Blondie. Viewing someone badly because they think their better than others, and yet you claim to be the best weapon? I doubt that. But then again that’s just my opinion, and I certainly wouldn’t wield you… Jeez, you two deserve each other.” He spoke whilst leaving his seat, and took off out the classroom for a moment.

Something had plagued his mind since entering the building and he couldn’t quite ignore it, so he had to check it out. And, as such, he was right. At the stairs lay the same girl from before. ”Oi, you. It’s gonna start soon so you better move it.” Walking over to beside her, he even nudged the girls side with his boot to make sure she wasn’t completely out of it. ”You still living?”

The girl introduced herself as Queen causing Yua to gasp. 'Queen? Are you royal?' However her questions was never answered as the blonde girl burst in. Yua frowned at her words, not because she believes them but in confusion of how she'd judge someone so quickly.

Still Yua hugged back tightly. Fumi seemed nice enough. But as the girl skipped away Yua was handed a tissue. The Meister smiled at it, then at Queen. 'Don't worry Queen-Chan. I think you are nice. We can be friends! And you're really pretty.'

Dabbing her nose Yua winked and skipped away. It wasn't long before Fumi again joined her. 'Hello Fumi-Chan. You're a weapon? That's so cool!! What are you? Have you been fought with before? How many times have you changed? My aunt was a Meister you know. She went here. Other then me she's the only one in my family. My brothers are really envious of me. Well, not Dachi. He doesn't like fighting. Do you have brothers? Or sisters? I don't have sisters. I wish I did.' The girls eyes were sparkling now and the tone of her voice had changed to what her family knew to be ranting. Unless stopped Yua would go on and on about weapons and her family.

Image As Mei got kicked by the boy she jumped up and looked at him."OH! Sorry- I uh.. Got to go." Mei said as she got up and started walking to her classroom.. "Dammit.. I'm late." Mei stuttered, as she started to run again- Her ADHD kicking in. She knew if she didn't get there on time she'll never make any friends- And she'll never have a partner, and Mei wanted a partner. Mei shredded down the hallways of the DWMA, looking for her classroom. Mei stopped for a moment catching her breath- This was to much physical active for a day for Mei.. She usually would just sit down on the couch and watch tv if she had the choice. Mei shook that thought out of her head and started to run again.

Finally- She was there, panting at the door."H-Hi.." She muttered, but then she looked into the classroom seeing everyone else had already taken their seats, and were socializing with one another- She knew this was going to happen.. She was always the odd one out. Mei sighed and took a seat at the back of the room, trying not to act up or to do anything weird- She wanted to make a good impression. Instead she took out a manga and started to read, trying to ignore the fact the she'll probably be a loner forever. Mei's eyes blurred as she dug her face deeper into the book, trying not to let anyone see her cry. 'I'm so stupid..' She thought, and felt a tear stream down her face.

Mei wiped the tear as she looked around at everyone else- They were normal.. Just like she wanted to be- Mei urged to be normal every day.. But it always turns out to make herself look- Well weird. 'Mei the Monster' Those words rung in her ears as she remember the day she turned into a weapon- all the kids turned around and ran away- Calling her names such as that, and that was the day Mei was sucked into the deep dark hole called- Depression.

Moto leaned back in his desk as students continued to be left to their own devices in the teacher’s absence. The more outgoing individuals openly introduced themselves, one upon a now decrepit throne which belonged to the teach. Now in shambles, it lied in pieces on the floor, instataneously discarded by the one which had snapped it in half. The boy could already imagine the reaction drawn by the bubbly girl known as Yuo. Perhaps the teacher would force Moto to hold a funeral pyre for his deceased sitting utility. No longer shall the man plop his rear and recline in a comfortable manner. Moto was already feeling sympathetic for the poor guy. Already bored with her previous antic, she hopped her way with ebullient paces and focused her sights on Fumiko after the younger lad had left her for the self-proclaimed Queen. Before their guide was too enter the classroom, the boy decided to flip open a manga magazine to kill the time. While flipping through the pages, he listened closely on the assorted conversations flowing from vociferous mouths. Moto may had underestimated Barry’s sewing of words, as he had already found himself able to uphold a conversation with royalty. He intended to continue listening until a shadow abruptly loomed over him.

”So please tell me you are one of the normal ones here. I doubt I can all this all the time.” The girl said nonchalantly as she sat down right next to him, a stern expression piercing daggers at Moto to wean out his response. The boy’s mouth was left agape until he regained his senses. Of course, his senses weren’t too solid and barely assisted him in verbally conveying his opinion. He glanced at his side for assistance from a comrade yet only received a similar glare from Fumiko. Or maybe it was centered on the stoic female attempting to pry an answer out of him. Actually, it was probably at both of them, each of her eyes focused on an individual. Moto’s heart dropped, as we was truly left to fend for himself. He fidgeted with his seating uneasily, then let out a sigh and met gazes with his classmate. But as soon as they entered an eyelock, Moto autonomously averted his line of sight and shook his head. An uncontrollable blush had already began to span his cheeks, ”Well. This is quite the development. Come on Moto, give her an answer already.” Forced by the lingering threat that she’ll snap the frail boy in two, he gulped down any doubt and finally deduced an answer.

”Well, it depends on what you personally deem normal. This will be my third year attending this academy, along with living here my whole life, I can’t help but to be used to this kind of scenario. It’s interesting to see every year’s new batch of students...” The boy winced at what he had planned on continuing that sentence with. He cut himself off and decided to firmly ask her question, ”But I believe this is normal. I mean, we’re in Death’s Capitol, can’t get more unusual than that. There might be a few hyper individuals here, but this seems pretty ordinary. It is also a place of acceptance for differentiating souls.” He breathed a sigh of relief as he finally blurted out the rest of his answer. It was as if a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. He closed the magazine shut and stuffed it back in his messenger bag, then glanced at the door to see if the teacher had arrived. ”Oh, and um… My name is Moto. Moto Kentono.” Aside from stuttering a bit with his vowels. The last few students began to file into the classroom after he introduced himself to the blonde. It was only a matter of time before their teacher was to arrive. "Who might you be?" He innocently asked while tilting his head.

Barry was going to reply very simply to Quarrie's questions, but time seemed to stop for him. His mind wanted every answer to be perfect and simple. A subconscious conversation between left brain, right brain, and Barry's thoughts.

"I say you confess you like her."

"I say you should just answer the questions."

"But if she dislikes my open-mindedness? But if she likes my open-mindedness?"

Then, it all came into agreement. Just answer the questions, and hope the truth doesn't slip out of his mouth. So, as he continued sketching, he answered the questions.

"My name is Barry Thomas Pyawasit, I am a weapon, and I've been here for about a month. I really don't have a reason for sitting by you, Miss. I just plan on someday being someone's partner and, hopefully, not Dying. I'd also like to become a teacher, Miss."

Just as he finished up the sketch, he looked around, hoping no one would see what he had drawn out. As he handed the paper over to Queen, he spoke.

"If you're gonna beat everyone, I'm not gonna stand in your way."

He turned the upside-down drawling over, to reveal a heart with the words "I like you :D" written in the middle. He placed the paper on her desk. As his face began to blush, he hoped that his forwardness of stupid affection wasn't creepy or, well, too forward. He hoped she wouldn't be like his former crushes and say "Ew you perv, go die in a hole." Barry looked around again, noticing the others socializing and chit-chatting. To him, that didn't really matter.

Fumi smiled at Yua, Fumi wanted her. As her meister. Maybe more? Who knew. Not Fumi, at any rate she was a rambler, which was fine. Walking with Yua over to her desk Fumi sat down next to Yua, never unlinking arms.

"No, I have no family. Hehe, I'm a lone weapon in this world. Now to answer your barrage of questions. I am a chainsaw, I know you wouldn't picture that but I am, a damn scary one too. Scary as in cool. Also yes, I have fought! Once a keshin attacked and me and my friend fought it off. We barely beat it! He was too scrawny to wield me properly . . . Er, I have been changed many, many times. I've lived here at the Academy almost my entire life. I was trained and used for demonstrations as a weapon demo. No one could sync with me then, I was too young. Now however I'm up and looking for my ideal meister! I hope I get you Yua-Chan."

Fumi winked at the red head, Fumi practically told her her life story, however Fumi was happy to share as she had nothing to hide. Looking around the room there were many different walks of people around here, Fumi wasn't so sure about some of them. Although you know, Fumi would act it all up as well as possible to gain trust, or maybe even make people think she isn't a threat.

That's when she'd strike.

Image Mei looked up as she saw a boy with hair so red- That it looked like flames. Soon- He talked to her- making Mei jump."H-hi.." Mei stuttered, while wiping away her tears, slowly putting away her book."I'm Mei Hasitmoto. I'm a weapon." Mei said- She talked quietly as she twirled her thumbs. She then listened to him mumble on about how he was the best- and such.. Mei sighed, and looked at him, he reminded her of her brother. That made Mei tilt her head and look at him with more interest.

"You look like my brother.." She said and smiled."That makes me warm inside- I like you." Mei said, and smiled, pulling a strand of her hair out of her face- and pulling up behind her ear, giving Mac a small grin while she did it. "I'd like to roll down the steps with you. Maybe even slide down them." Mei smiled, the thought giving her a soft feeling inside. But before she could yes to the trick- The teacher walked into the room, sitting into his chair but then- PLONK! The chair split in half. "Dammit! Who the hell did this.." He grumbled and then stood up, rubbing his head."Anyways.. I'm here to supervise you kids in choosing your partner.. And uh when you choose your partner come to me to get your wave lengths measured. Call me Mr. R." He said as he leaned on the wall. "You may choose your partner now- But remember, you will be stuck with this person for the rest of your life. Choose wisely."

"Well, uh, sure. I don't know why you'd choose me, out of everyone else here. Can you fight? Can you even match my wavelength..?"

Barry was pretty surprised by his sudden picking. It wasn't normal for Barry to be chosen quickly for anything. He looked over to the teacher, who looked like one of the most stereotypical professors ever, but still kept the chilled and cool look for him. Knowing that he probably wouldn't be compatible with most of the others around, it was simple to be paired with a love interest. Perhaps hey could learn a lot about each other this way, or maybe find they don't belong with each other. However, now wasn't the time to think about love and loss. Now was the time to find a partner... which he had already done. Guess it's time to show off the ol' weapon form, eh?

Luckily for Barry, he's learned how to fully transform into a weapon from his month in the DWMA. However he may overshoot simple finger-barrel transformations for full-body transformations. Nevertheless, this didn't deter him. Barry jumped up out of his seat, and began to transform. The white flash of light lasted a small amount of time, signaling the start of the transformation. He pictured the hand-cannon within his soul, or whatever the teachers had taught him before. Suddenly, the revolver gleamed in the open room's air, as it fell down onto the desk with a loud thud. Barry was now in 'a strange dark place', as he liked to call it.

"So, lets see if you can even wield me, shall we?"

Yua was lead to a desk and happily listened to Fumi's story. 'Wow Fumi-Chan! You've seen so much! You're so cool!' She giggled and her eyes scrunched up. 'Fumi-Chan let's be partners! I can weild you, and we can fight together!'

Standing Yua unlinked her arms from the blonde and grabbed her hand. 'As soon as the teacher gets here we can tell them!' And true to her word a teacher did enter. Yua winced a bit at seeing his chair break but other then that she felt no remorse. Chairs break all the time.

'See? Come on Fumi-Chan!' Yua lurched forward, dragging the other girl with her. 'Come on come on come on!' They weaved slightly in the crowd and luckily Yua didn't hit another student. Sadly the same couldn't be said for Mr.R. Just a foot away from him Yua stopped. Or tried to. Instead she and Fumi barreled into the teacher.

'Oh! Not again Yua!' She stood and brushed off her dress. 'Sorry Mr.R. Fumi-Chan and I are just really excited. We wanna be partners!'

The boy had his head tilted to the side as he waited for the girl’s response. In the span of moments he had before she could introduce herself, Moto internally ran a quick analysis on her physique and characteristics. Being a mission analyst for two years harbored its perks. After all, practice most definitely makes perfect. Judging from the height of her upper torso in addition to the amount of legroom she took up, the blonde was only shorter than Moto by a fourth of a foot. Though such leverage in the height category is soon undermined by the muscular definition outlined beneath her clothing. She didn’t have the muscles of a devoted body-builder, but instead those of a brawler. Flexible and compact, yet effective and could surpass other physiques when their spectrum is inclined. In laymen’s terms; she was strong. Could probably throw anybody in this room from the top of the bleachers to the other side of the classroom without even batting an eye. Mixed with a reticent complexion, she could easily intimidate any adversary just by being her ordinary self. Most males would feel their masculinity shrivel up and decay in a corner at the sight, yet Moto had already accepted the fact that he was on the… lighter side of the spectrum. Sure, he had a good endurance from working long hours under the Nevada sun, yet that was the extent of his capabilities. This individual could go places as a self-productive aria. Nobody would dare to challenge her and live to see another day, or another minute or second for that matter. ”She probably has a mirrored aspect within her personality. Wonder what it’s like? I can only draw conclusions from her exte-”

”Viena. Viena Winters. It’s nice to meet you Moto.” Ah, right, students from all over the globe attended this academy. She was one of the lucky few who already learned the native language from the get-go. Although it was the same case with Moto, others could find English to be quite the arduous form to wrap their minds around. The other meister in the background blabbering about his ambitions barely drew Moto’s attention away from the new acquaintance. The boy winced when Viena made a stern comment about the aftermath of those which displease her.”Definitely a brawler. Ninety-nine point nine, nine, nine percent sure.” He thought to himself as the girl flexed a bit, but quickly added a followup statement. ”I am a Weapon by the way...and I actually know what I am doing in brawl so don’t worry about getting a stray hit in your direction.” And with that confirmation of his hypothesis, he made a slight smile and waved his hands, ”It’s alright, I have decent reflexes…” Before he could continue his train of thought, the door suddenly swung open and drew the boy’s attention.

In its frame was a jutted out leg, clothed in a memorable black khakis, complimented by a red turtleneck, an iconic labcoat and a pair of glasses which gleamed with overflowing knowledge. Knowledge and foolishness. Moto smiled a sliver as he leaned forward in his desk and gave his previous co-worker, now teacher a greeting nod from his seat. Whether the adult noticed his greeting wasn’t of his concern, as Mr. R would soon find out the ugly truth of his beloved chair. Over the past two years, both of them have worked hard to administer missions to pairs whilst analyzing those which returned productive data. It wasn’t a shocker that Moto was made Mr. R’s pupil, as they both shared similar backgrounds. The two related with the loss of those close to him; with Moto his dear friends, and R his wife. They both had felt loss’ venomous bite, and had already transformed that poison into a remedy for their broken symptoms and states of mind. It was this very man which ushered Moto into enrolling as a meister this year, his opinion of the man never swayed regardless of how many times he was asked to babysit his children. Little kiddos were and still most likely are biters.

After a few paces and quick introduction, he set out to recline in what he believed was the most comfortable place in existence. One time, the man had gone on a rant about the eloquence of his chair. ”This chair is the perfect seating device! The massager of my rear, the upholder of my gluteus region, the perfect compliment to my enticing rump! It shall mold my glorious halves into a perfectly comfortable state of sereni-” And then Moto accidentally spilled coffee on Mr. R, freeing him from his daze, yet doomed him to a rolling mess of sizzling pain. Anyways, the teacher’s heart was surely shattered when he fell backwards onto the plywood stage. Moto shook his head out of sympathy, but his mind was soon overridden with the task of ascertaining a partner. Not to his surprise and unsure of whether it was to his avail, Viena applied to be his fellow comrade in arms. The boy paused as he processed the last line of her query. His back and limbs instantly stiffened, like a patient who was just diagnosed with a fatal disease and was left in mind-numbing shock. He froze entirely, exempting the feverish blush which stretched across his face. ”...Eh?” Was all he could blurt out, still left in awe at the Viena’s unforeseen phrasing. Moto quickly cleared his mind and frivolously nodded and took the girl by both hands, interlocking their fingers. Kinda looked funny comparing the sets of fingers together. ”A-a-alright, let’s go.” He eased out as he stood up. Already Fumiko and Yua had descended upon Mr. R, quick to be the first tested. It was surprisingly easy to guide the girl halfway down the steps, as if she was weightless. They were halfway down the steps by the time Moto deduced this lack of weight was too unusual. He glanced at his back and realized that Viena had disappeared, yet in his hands were brass knuckles. ”...Erm. Viena?” He asked innocently, only now noticing that she had remain quiet during their descent through the bleachers.

Mei looked at him as he told her a bit more about himself."You have older brothers? Your lucky.. My brother died from cancer." When Mei said that she felt her eyes become even more blurry, and she felt like she was going to explode- And then he told her his real name."Macken- Mac.. Oh cool name." Mei said and smiled, wiping the thought about her brother away.

Then- He asked her to become his partner."I-I'd love to be your partner!" Mei said, and grinned wildly."Let me show you my weapon form- But remember, please don't drop me.. It hurts." Mei stated firmly- And then BOOM! She was morphed into a 6" spear, double bladed- And sharp. Mei floated around in what she'd like to call 'Her Safe Place'.. Like always she was well.. Naked in that 'Safe Place' but no one could see her- So she was fine. "Try me out!" Mei said, her face rippling on one side of the blade.

Mr.R watched the kids slowly start to get to know each other- Reminding him more about his meister life than ever. It killed him inside to watch them.. Especially those who were shy.. Like his wife. He could have protected her.. But he didn't. Soon two girls were up in his face- tumbling on top of him. "We need to see your wave lengths.." He said and looked at the one who he assumed was a weapon. "Turn into a weapon- I'll test your wave lengths- Just swing her around - Test her out." Mr.R said, while he brought out his 'Wave Length tester' and shoved it in front of them- It was just a box with a special camera.

Mr.R looked at the blonde tall girl come over and ask him if Moto and her could be partners. "Wait in line- I need to test your wave lengths no matter what." Mr. R said, then turned to face the the two girls.

Baron Phantom

”Of course I can fight – and I can choose whoever I like too, which is you.” She promptly replied to the boy, pushing herself up from his desk as she stood upright. Looking down at the boy Quarrie towered over him a little, which she found quite amusing. His sudden transformation was quite surprising, she hadn’t expected him to be that capable for some reason, but at least is showed he had potential and maybe her choice wasn’t that bad.

Once she saw the revolver emerge and drop to the desk, Quarrie quickly reached over and picked the hand-canon up and held him securely in her hands. A big smile was present on her lips, as the girl was thrilled to have a gun! It was her ideal weapon for combat – not that she had ever used many at all, but she had always viewed them as something of an interest to her. ”I’ll wield you, no problem.” She said confidently as she held the weapon, seemingly easily enough wasn’t it?

Quarrie tried to keep her mind clear, knowing it would be wise if she was going to properly wield Barry and use him efficiently. With a deep breath, she dropped one hand and stretched out the other one, which held the revolver, and aimed it out in front of her. It took a bit of effort to keep the weapon held up with only one hand, but she’d persist through sheer determination. Sparing a moment to glance at the other students, she noticed some had morphed into weapons, and she spotted a few already heading to the teacher. With her confidence growing Quarrie looked to the gun in her hand, grinning as she knew she didn’t need some professor telling her what she was good at, and that she knew she could match the wavelength of Barry. She would make sure of it.

”I got this.” She whispered mostly to herself, cocking her arm straight before tilting her head just slightly. She aimed the weapon towards a wall, familiarizing her fingers against his features and trigger, and then closed one eye. Quickly after she pulled down on the trigger, eagerly firing a shot at the wall before her - though maybe a little too eagerly, as the recoil and force sent a sharp pain to her wrist as she wasn’t expecting it to be that powerful. Quarrie almost dropped the revolver because of it as her grip loosened on Barry considerably, but just as quickly, the girl grabbed the gun with both hands as she aimed the revolver towards the wall again, taking a shaky tired breath, before firing another shot just as hurriedly. Her aim was off though - not that she had any real target - but Quarrie knew she just had to keep a clear head and work with Barry, not against him. Their wavelengths had to connect, and she was determined to make it work! The impact wasn’t as heavy on the girl the second time round, perhaps due to having both hands on the weapon, but it was still something she’d have to adjust to – she was determined to get it right! No matter how long it took.

Taking a breath, the girl lowered her hands and held the gun close to her as she looked down at it. ”So what do you think, Barry?” She asked with a questioning brow. ”You think we're ready for the test?” If he said they were then she'd go to the teacher, as much as she didn't really want to.

Baron was a little freaked out by the girls sudden movements, clearly she had no clue what went on before and he’d need to fill her in. ”We’re in class silly, you must know that much. Anyway we’re suppose to find partners,” Sitting back down and pouting to the boy, the meister sat his hands to his hips as he looked back to the sitting girl and raised a brow. ”Well, nice to meet you Amaya my name is Baron Phantom, maybe you didn’t hear, and I’m a meister looking for a weapon.”

She then looked to him with a slightly goofy grin, which Baron was a little caught-off by but he quickly regained himself, sporting a grin of his own. ”Hey, what do you know I’m a dog-guy myself, and puppies are the cutest aren’t they?” Perhaps it would break some ground between them, and he’d say anything to win her over, be it whatever. Plus it wasn’t a total lie, dogs were cool! ”So do I pass the test?” He joked, dropping his hands to her desk again as he leaned in bit more closely to the girl.

”How about transforming into your weapon form and we can see if we are compatible? Worth a shot, you know.” He spoke a moment later, before tapping a finger against the table. Baron tried to remain easy-going as he conversed with the girl, not really wanting to put her off. Really, he was quite intrigued by this little being. ”I'm ready whenever you are, Amaya.”
