Sucked into the future


The concept of Time Travel has been around since the devilment periods. It's such a tempting, amazing idea. If you could travel into the future to see what happens, you could avoid it and thus change that future. Or, if something horrible has happened, grant yourself a do over. These too things have always, and will always, entice people into studying. In these Modern Times, it's simply impossible to do so. All of the current theories are in agreement with one thing: we don't have the necessary thing,s or the means to get them.

The future, however, is a different story entirely.

The year is 2357. In the past few centuries, mankind has done it's best to strive for peace with all of technological advancements they've made. The air is far cleaner and crispier than what used to be. The commonly used roads are no more as the creation of Hovercrafts revolutionized transport, as well as saving on precious fossil fuels. Virtual Reality video games, 3 dimensional television, even sports have gotten an upgrade. Zero Gravity soccer, Spacial Swimming, Aerial martial arts... so much has progressed.

In all this time, Time Travel has never been realized, but that has never stopped Scientists from trying. Finally, one corporation seems to have succeeded. The Reinhold Institute of Particle Physics (more commonly refereed to as Reinhold Inc.) believes to have finally succeed. They developed a working “Time Laser” That vaporizes a person and sends them back in time, reconstructing them completely intact. In essence, a perfect Time Traveling device.

In it's first official test, however, nothing happened, and the test was believed to have failed. However, the scientists had everything in reverse. The beam didn't send people to the past, it shout a few people forward in time to the present day. In fact, it grabbed two people from the year 20013, and shot them to the present day. These two people ended on random streets, yanked from the old society to the present world.

Adaptation and Stealth is the name of the game. Nobody can find out that they are from the present world. It would become an international media event, and Reinhold Corporation would get word of it. If they did, they would do everything in their power to capture them, ad use them for more testing. Nothing is off limits for them. They'll kill , blackmail... anything they have to. The people from the past have to work with the people from the present day in order to find a way back, without gaining their attention.

And so our story begins.

This is a limited Roleplay. As such, I'm only allowing 4 slots. Two people from the past, and two people from the future/ present day. With myself being in the story, there are 3 slots open. The format is Semi lit to Lit.

The usual RPG rules apply.
