Introduction

Trees swayed in the wind, sun littering the soft ground as it filtered through the leaves. In a small clearing, lay a teenage girl. Around 17 years of age, long, light brown hair, and bright, brown orbs. Sunlight hit her pale skin as a breeze past. It wasn't a normal breeze, though. “Dragons,” she muttered. She knew times were going to change. Karson Jayfeld, as this girl is named, mainly known as Duskwing in the brotherhood because of the brown that was dominant with color. All that was needed was cooperation from other beings like her.

Karson sat on a small hill that was located in the Amber Leaf Forest. Looking up at the sky, she looked around. Hopefully she would catch a glimpse of a dragon today. Maybe the Blue-Gray Spit Fire dragon she had seen a few weeks before? That was a beautiful dragon.

On the summit of the Crucible Of Fire, a small young fire dragons lands on top to speak with the lord of the mountain, "greeting old one, may I be so bold to ask for something?" The young dragon spoke as he bowed his head, "of course young one...ask away" The dragon lord spoke, "can you teach me the powers of magic? I need the power to rescue my family from a gang of dragon hunters" the young dragon pleaded, "I sense great pride...with you young one...I shall grant your request" the dragon lord then raised on of his claws and made a fire symbol next to the eye of the dragon, "now all you have to do is...say the word fire...then use your claws to...summon your power..." The dragon lord spoke. The young dragon jumped high in the air and bowed again before taking off.

As the young dragon left another large dragon with a black color appeared, "brother why do we have to be passive to the humans? Almost every day, dragons are attacked on a daily basis, hunters, killers, murderers all joining in to kill us and make some quick money, we should fight back and show these humans that we are to be feared and not fear the humans!" The dragon angrily snapped, "I know you don't...like this passiveness we show...humans, but we can find a means...to be peaceful instead of adding fuel to...the flames" the dragon lord spoke, "I will be leaving...for now...I trust you can watch...the mountain" the other dragon nodded as he watched his brother slowly fly away, his destination, Amber Leaf Forest.
