Right to where the counter was...
Smiling she reached behind the counter, and grabbed teleporting device, humanoid tried to get to her, and he almost reached her with his handsā¦ before being teleported out of the building.
āWell, that was annoying, really wanted to kill him...ā She said, paused, and looked at all those who were left.
āAnyone else wants to screw around, or are we done here?ā Silence was the only reply.
āI guess thatās it thenā¦ Fishy, why the heck were you cowering?ā She glared at Fishy, who couldāve reached for this ace at any time, yet he didnāt, thanks to that fact alone... she considered killing him instead.
Ghosty seemed annoyed, addressing the bar then turning back to Integra. āI guess thatās it thenā¦ Fishy, why the heck were you cowering?ā
By now, Integra's shadow had reattached, "I told you! I don't fight!!! I'm a terrible shot, and DRUNK! I was worried I'd hit you or someone else instead!" He was lying through his teeth, of course, but living as an outlaw for so long meant he was quite skilled at deceit. "I thought you said we could leave the bouncer work up to you!"
āItās annoying that you pretend.ā Then she turned around, and slowly focused on cleaning what was left of this chaotic event.
OOC- Umm, sorry for replying so late, and sorry for such a short response ^^
"It's annoying that you pretend."
"It's annoying that you presume," he stated simply. A swarm of tiny robots, nanites, arose from Blackheart's coat and began to clean the room to the best of their ability, even going so far as to rearrange molecules and rebuild the broken furniture. "We all have our reasons Velera, test not mine."
"We all have our reasons Velera, test not mine." Is what Velera heard, while cleaning, and it made her laugh, laugh like never before.
She laughed for good 10 seconds, longer than usual 5 seconds, then she turned around and looked at Fishy.
āCongrats, you just confirmed it.ā Slowly a grin emerged, followed by cold stare.
Butā¦
Her stare interrupted, now checking environment with eyes alone, for sheās too lazy to move at the moment. Looking at each part of their rather big workplace, and somehowā¦ everything seemed to be clean already, in less than an hour cleaning might have been done.
āSeems like weāre done cleaning, letās see if we can close for todayā¦ cause Iām done.ā
"You can't prove anything," he shrugged, looking about the place that was now as clean as when he first came in. Blackheart's shadow moved erratically, not quite correctly with the light being cast. She's a sharp one, isn't she? Perhaps a little accident should befall her... Integra just sighed, used to the demon's provocations.
With a yawn and beginning to stretch, the Blackheart simply agreed with Velera. "Yeah, sure Ghosty. It's late and that was a big enough mess anyways. I'm sure Akita won't mind."
The AI started talking to Blackheart again, via neural link "Eventful first day, eh love? I like your co-worker. She's feisty."
Groaning and starting to feel the effects of the imbibed liquor, Integra looked at the few people still in the bar. "Last Call! We're closing up shop. You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here!"
"Yeah, sure Ghosty. It's late and that was a big enough mess anyways. I'm sure Akita won't mind." She heard, andā¦
āDown we goā¦ā Glass raised full, then put down, empty.
āSucks, that I canāt get drunkā¦ā Velera sighed, then looked at Fishy, who groaned and now yelled.
āWant one?ā Obviously Velera meant that drink, she earlier drank.
"Well... I suppose if you can get your head caved in and be fine, a little poison wouldn't exactly do it for you. I might be able to rig up a neural dampener that would mimic the effects of inebriation..."
"Want one?"
He eyed her warily, but decided he might as well. "Sure!"
"Sure!" It was noticeable how he eyed her, but he agreed, so she smiled brightly, and poured a bit of this drink of hers into one glass, then pushed towards him.
āHere you go, though be warned, itās strong.ā
The bar swam, nothing seemed to be the same anymore. The pirate was thoroughly drunk at this point. Both the demon and AI that accompanied him were silent, allowing him a moment of mortal weakness.
"Yanno, back on my planet.... Hick! Drinks like this were commonplace. A single embitterment was enough to get you downed" Fishy said, or rather slightly yelled.
āYour planet, interesting, though I hope your people had stronger drinks than theseā¦ā She chuckled, and looked around, patrons left, so now it was possible to close.
āWant to close, and rest, or shall we close and drink more?ā
"I, *hicc* for one, *hicc* can't sleep unless I've, *hicc* been properly marinated!" He nodded, for no apparent reason, as if he had imparted some sort of divine wisdom.
"Tiny robots, *hicc* in my bloodstream, *hicc* keep my blood alcohol content, *hicc* in a suitable range. *Hicc* They make it hard to, *Hicc* yanno.... *hicc* get drunk."
The neural link in his head sounded with an AI's voice "Darling, don't get inebriated and give away any secrets please ~"
"Tiny robots, *hicc* in my bloodstream, *hicc* keep my blood alcohol content, *hicc* in a suitable range. *Hicc* They make it hard to, *Hicc* yanno.... *hicc* get drunk." Chuckling stopped abruptly, she glared at him with curiosity, a small hint has been given, by chance, one that she wonāt forget.
āI see, well, letās closeā¦ā
"And about earlier, you seemingly came back from the dead. What uhh... what was that? And as long as we're... chatting... Are you from this planet? What'd you think of the Celestial that came in a bit ago. I'm partially demon, so personally, Celestials terrify me."
āNice workersā¦ā She muttered.
"And about earlier, you seemingly came back from the dead. What uhh... what was that? And as long as we're... chatting... Are you from this planet? What'd you think of the Celestial that came in a bit ago. I'm partially demon, so personally, Celestials terrify me."
Velera smiled, before answeringā¦
āYeah, I know she is a demon. When it comes to my quirk, well, that was me beingā¦ I guess immortal? Canāt say really, I just seem to have problem with dying, but trust me it is not as great as it seems.ā She paused, thinking about Celestial.
āAbout Celestialā¦ I hate his guts, though he does have this aura I donāt like, but itās not scaring me, itās making me thirst for his blood.ā She chuckled.
āAh, sorry, Iām bit of an insane type, but just a bit, so no worries.ā
āAh, sorry, Iām bit of an insane type, but just a bit, so no worries.ā
"Uhh.... Insane or not, I wouldn't try to fight the Celestial, he's not just the typical angel or whatnot... He's ancient... You can practically feel the power oozing off him." He left off the part about Bezalel having told him, it seemed unwise to mention... it. "But enough of all that foul business," Blackheart's shadow snaked out behind him, grabbing a bottle of wine. He uncorked it with his teeth, spitting the cork into the trash. "Cheers!" He swigged straight from the bottle.
āSooo, what is this strange power you haveā¦ā She asked, tilting head lightly, listening in, as if noticing sound of something being uncorked.
The question was a sobering one, and Integra decided to finish the bottle before answering. A long gulp emptied the merlot bottle into his stomach and he stopped to think for a second. "It's... complicated... On my planet many people can utilize a sort of magic, but my powers extend past that. In my travels I found many technologically advanced planets, and thus cybernetic enhancements make up bits of my body. I've been tweaked so much I can hardly be considered mortal. Um..." He stopped to think about it some more.
"I made a deal with the Devil... Basically sums up my powers."
"I made a deal with the Devil... Basically sums up my powers."
Answer to which she smiled.
āWell, that explains earlier sound, and moving shadow, yes, I noticed.ā Short chuckle, then her eyes became cold once more, focused on the entrance to tavern. Reason? Unknown even to her, something was simply amiss, and so she kept on staring at the door.
